**CAUTION - GREEN AIR CARE TAKES ADVANTAGE OF ELDERLY PEOPLE** My elderly parents called Green Air Care in Buffalo Grove, IL only because they saw a coupon of $189 in the ValPak in order to clean out their air ducts due to a problem with a smell. The worker came out, inspected the situation with the ducts, said he needed to check the furnace, banged on the furnace multiple times, and said it was going to cost more than $189. The worker did NOT mention that there was a furnace issue when he assessed the situation only that the duct job was more than what was thought. My parents were quoted a price that was 5x's more than the price of $189 from the ValPak coupon! The worker said they would need to come back to address the issue and charged my parents for the consultation. Once the worker left, the furnace no longer worked. Mind you there were no issues with the furnace heating prior to this visit and was not the reason for the initial call. My mom called the company back to explain that they NOW had an issue with the furnace not heating after Green Air Care's visit. The company advised that they had nothing to do with the furnace not working and after my parents pleaded to have someone come out and look at the furnace they agreed to send someone out. Apparently after the initial visit of NO report of a furnace issue the worker advised there was now an "oil issue" with the furnace. When my parents asked to speak with a manager they advised him they had no furnace issues before the visit and only called for duct issues. The manager got defensive and told them that it was not his fault that my parents did not know how to work a thermostat and that basically it was my parents problem. They were also advised that since Green Air Care had to come back out, my parents would be charged again and if they did not pay were threatened with being sent to collections. Mind you neither situation was fixed. From reading reviews this is not the first time this company has taken advantage of elderly people. Do NOT call this company even if you see the coupon in your ValPak, Groupon, or Angie's List recommendation. I will be posting this review on Facebook, Instagram, n49, trustpilot, thumbtack, birdeye, revdex, BBB, and any other sites I find. This is not right to be treating elderly people like this. Rude, Condescending, Wasted money, Bad business.
He inspected the AC unit and provided the detailed report on how much it will cost and whyLater, he suggested options and I chose to move with new unit that costed be less than 3,and less maintenance
They took before and after photographs at my request on site so I could see the differencesI think they worked with me in an extremely professional manner from start to finish
My experience with Green Air Care was a long winded one, but worthwhileI had initially purchased a groupon for an AC Tune up, which I had never known was supposed to happen on a more regular basisI was happy that I was able to make an appointment right away and didn't have to compromise my scheduleThe Green Air team came in on my appointment and looked at my systemJohn was very detailed and went through step by step what he was looking atHe showed me several pictures of my system which showed a huge buildup of dust and mold that I had no idea even existed! Long story short, I ended up having the team do a deep clean of my vent systems, and it looked fantastic after! The only set back was that there was a tiny hiccup in the process which required a follow up appointment the following dayEric *came to my place the next day as promised to fix the rest of the A/C and get it to working orderI noticed an immediate change and he was very detailed on the various components I could add to my system to make it better and last longerI didn't end up going with the additional UV product, but really appreciated the dedicated service that he provided meHe really made me feel that he was doing all in his power to make sure that I was 100% satisfied with my service, which I wasI am very happy with the service provided and especially so given it was my first big A/C maintenanceI would recommend their services againThanks everyone!
Short and sweet Couldn't have been easier to work with and very happy with the job and price They scheduled my appointment quickly, kept in good communication and arrived when they said, the dryer vent looks great and the price was very reasonable Adam, the technician that was sent out, was very polite, did the job quickly & effectively  and they left the area even cleaner than it was when they started Will absolutely use again, thank you Green Air Care team!
My wife found Green Air Care online and we scheduled a service for [redacted] serviceThe guys that came out were in a company truck, were company branded t-shirts and were overall very professional Normally I would not write a review and spend the time, but I liked how they did a free inspection of our overall HVAC system, which was not included in the aeroseal service we paid forBecause of this service, they were able to identify that our filter was clogged and our humidifier was not working at allI liked that and wanted to share the positive experience we hadI wish all HVAC companies went beyond their call of duty to offer this kind of serviceBy the way, [redacted] is amazing and we are very happy we did itPretty amazing technologyThumbs up

My year old furnace died early Sunday morningI called Quality because of their great reviews onlineTheir phone recording gave an emergency phone number, which was answered immediatelyI called at 8:30AM, and hours later Adam arrived at my house to check out my furnaceHe clearly explained the problems with my furnace, gave me estimates to both repair and replace it, and discussed the pros and cons of repair vsreplaceDue to the age of the furnace and cost to repair, I decided to replace itAdam followed up later that day with a written proposal via email which I acceptedSince I was without heat, and Adamn committed to replace the furnace the next day, I did not get competitive bids for the furnace replacement, but the bid price seemed to reasonable On Monday Adam returned with a crew of two other men and installed the new furnaceThe furnace he selected fit perfectly into the small space available, installation went smoothly, and they cleaned up well before leavingThe new furnace works great I couldn't be happier with Quality
I never knew how much dust was in my vents until green air care came out! They did an amazing job and were very professional and knowledgeable about the products and services that they offerThe technician Stas was very friendly and personable!! I was beyond impressed and will definitely be referring them to friends and family!
With a coupon from [redacted] I was expecting vacum and clean vents and return the song and dance was it had been too long since my return was cleaned so they couldn't do a proper jobthey tried to plug in the regular vacand it tripped my ground faults on the outletthey refused to try a different outlet..they told me I didn't have enough electrical power (yeahrightspouse is an electriciantry another one folks)..they informed me they needed to use the larger gas powered vac minimum fee $ the refunded me the couponbut I suspect this is a typical bait and switchbe wary

This was the first time that I ever had my air ducts cleaned, after purchasing a new home Yan and Dennis were quick and thorough in cleaning my vents and furnace It took about hours total and the furnace was the longest part because it was difficult to disassemble and reassemble The guys explained everything that they were doing, which was great The only problem that I had was that they turned on the fan, while cleaning the vents, which caused all kinds of debris to fly out, after I vacuumed and mopped the floors the previous day They could've used some type of filter to catch all that, but they did vacuum most of the visible debris afterwards I will definitely call Green Air Care, again, to clean my vents Hopefully, I will  get the same guys, as I was very happy with their service Â
Shmulik NAnd his partner were great, explained everything when I had my furnace tuned-up/cleanedThey showed me everything they were doingI am definitely having them come back, asking for same guys (Shmulik) for sureDon't waste your money elsewhere
