Green Ridge Solar did an amazing install on our house. I couldn’t be any happier with the quality in product as well as service my wife and I received.
They were there to answer every question we had from start to finish, and the black on black panels look extremely sharp on my roof!
I would highly recommend them to anyone who is serious about getting solar.

Extremely impressed by the professionalism and dedication to customers needs. Our job was done in a timely matter and works perfectly. They took care of everything they said they would and went above and beyond what was expected. I would strongly recommend this company

I had Addison and Tayler come out to give me a quote on a solar project I had for my off grid home. I was was told it would be under 15,000 and that they could have it done by the end of the year. That was in October. After putting half payment down and signing a contract I didn't hear how soon the project would start. Emma kept telling me it would be soon and that they were figuring out everything with county and that they were working out the design and showing it to the county for approval. Later in January she calls me up and tells me the county will not approve the project unless I spend another 10,000 more for a different set up. Later if find out that the solar they promised would lose them money because they promised too much in the package. They deny they have done anything wrong, getting a hold of anybody from this company is a constant battle. So if you are not going to spend more then 20,000 for solar then don't go with this company. Every time I called asking when they would start my project I kept hearing just wait we are working on it. I would give this company a 0 on how they communicate and their promises.

Unfortunately, off-grid solar systems require much more work to design and install. We worked with the Utility company, city and county, but were told they would not approve for an off grid system to be on the property we typically install. We looked at a few other design options, but the price went up substantially as more equipment was being required. We gave a full refund without question.

The Good: Crew that performed the install on the house Summer 2018 were experienced and did a good job. The roof had no leaks, and they were prompt & timely. My electric bills are effectively gone.

The Bad: The solar system itself does not perform as advertised. They sold me a 6.71kW system, and in the 10 months it has been in place has never pulled more than 6.01kW under ideal conditions. Additionally the salesperson (Dave Edmonds) grossly misrepresented the functionality of their "proprietary inverter" and the battery system. Instead of a solar system that can power the battery which powers the entire house (even during utility outages), I instead have what is functionally a $13,000 battery UPS for 4 circuits in my house, that requires utility connectivity to work. It's also prone to tripping the breaker they set up, which leaves the 4 critical house circuits on the battery more prone to outages than anywhere else in the house. Huge mistake.

The Ugly: Two months after completing the install I received notice from the company that they had made "a mistake" and "forgot" to charge me Washington sales tax. The salesperson explicitly told me there was no sales tax on Washington installs when we signed the contract and entered into the agreement. Green Ridge Power refuses to honor the agreement we entered into, and did not negotiate in good faith. Despite the fact that our contract makes no mention of sales tax, clearly states the price of the contract is the "entire understanding" between myself & Green Ridge, and was drafted BY Green Ridge, they now expect their customer to pay several thousand more dollars to cover the tax bill that they "forgot" to account for, to cover their mistake.

Rooftop solar is a great idea. If you are considering it you should pursue the implementation with a more professional and honest company.

we were able to resolve this with you. Washington State's program for no sales tax solar projects ran out during the time that your system was sold. We did excuse the sales tax and pay it on your behalf. The battery product was returned as well. We have since moved to LG Chem for our primary battery product, which has much better performance and reliability.
