We were not able to contact teh media outlet who sold the deal to the customer, but have agreed on a mutually satisfactory resolution package.

The customer has provided his updated credit card information in order for NeoFill to issue a refund for the full amount of his purchase that totaled $55.75 ($50.00 + $5.75 shipping and handling).  The refund has been processed, and NeoFill considers this issue resolved.

The customer ordered on June 25th.  The card was sent out on June 26th.  He received it on June 29th.  The customer contacted us on July 2nd regarding this issue.  We promptly informed the station, who sold the deal on their website.  They promptly contacted the vendor who...

supplied NeoFill with  the gift card.  By Friday morning, July 3rd,  the customer's card was restored to a correct balance of $50.00.  The customer was informed and satisfied with the resolution.  The matter was resolved in less than 36 hours.This matter is considered closed.

I will break down the complaint filed and answer all concerns below.1).   When I clicked on Submit, instead of getting a confirmation of my purchase, I got a notice telling me that the "Deal had been sold out." All orders are processed electronically on a first come first serve...

basis.  When a deal sells out while you are typing your information, our system does not interrupt your process.  Instead, when you are finished, the "Deal has been sold out" message pops up.  Your information wasn't submitted to our credit card gateway that authorizes transactions because the order was not processed.2)    This company took my credit card information, knowing that the deal would not available! The deal was available when you began your order; however, it sold out while you were still completing your order.  Again,  our system does not interrupt that process, but no information is obtained.3)    I went back to the Offer page, and acted as if I was going to purchase 1 of the same certificates. The Neofill website opened and once again asked for my personal information. No mention that the deal was no longer available.If you simply go back to the page, you will repeat the same steps and so will the system.  If you had refreshed the page, or had just logged in as if you were purchasing for the first time, the "Deal has been sold out" message would've popped up, alerting you, and not allowing you to attempt a purchase. 4)    There was no honest error, just an unethical company who basically stole my credit card information. I want to make sure that this doesn't happen to someone else. I'm going to have to cancel my card, and wait a week for my new card, which leaves me having to use checks. I will be sending a copy of this complaint to [redacted]There was no need to cancel your credit card and be issued a new one.  Our system does not store credit card information for unprocessed orders.  Your information was null and void when you didn't successfully process your order due to the deal selling out first.

Neofill has provided an explanation document to Revdex.com, regarding the approval of a refund to this customer, as authorized by the general manager at [redacted]I. The merchant had changed ownership, and re-branded to the [redacted] (still accepting vouchers for [redacted]), but we have now been authorized to process a $27.00 refund to this customer. Please see the attached documentation, as provided to Revdex.com, and a copy of the email sent to this customer from Neofill’s Operation Manager, on April 11, 2018. Promotions on [redacted]s site [redacted]/ which are no longer useful, have now been removed, and we have resolutions from [redacted] on file for any future customer requests. A more formal letter has been submitted to Revdex.com, in explanation of this case, as the details were too large for the Revdex.com response character limit. We look forward to processing this $27.00 refund to the customer, once we have the necessary information billing information to do so.
