Green Tone Pro Reviews (49)

Review: In August of 2014 I signed up for what I thought was a free trial for a product called Ven Cleanse. The offer stated that only a shipping fee of $9.95 would be charged to my card. I received the "free" trial but have never recieved any other products from this company. The company has since changed their terms and conditions, no doubt due to the number of people who thought the same thing I did and complained.I found out today (via a fraud alert text from my bank) that I have been charged $79.95 as well as $89.97 once a month from August to December of 2014. The $89.95 charge is listed as: [redacted] ###-###-#### NV. I have never ordered this product nor have I ever received it in the mail. The $79.90charge is listed as CADiet [redacted], ###-###-####. Both numbers connect to the customer service line for Green Tone Pro. It looks to me as though this company tagged on a hefty additional charge to my account under the guise of being another company. When I researched other allegations of scamming regarding this company I found many others have been bilked, but not to the degree I have, with two hefty charges for 5-6 months. I spoke with a Ven Cleanse/Green Tone Pro customer service rep earlier in the evening and he said they cannot refund my money (my bank stopped their last attempt at charging my account and I have to get a new debit card) and that they have the tracking numbers for all of the products they have supposedly sent to me (which they did not send and which I do not want). I do not know what to do. This is a large chunk of money, almost a thousand dollars for absolutely nothing, gained through false pretenses. I hope you can help me or at least advise me on what to do. This makes me sick. Not just the money, the inherent dishonesty of the entire situation.

In sum: I was billed via automatic debit to my checking account from August of 2014 to January *,2015 the sum of $79.90 for a product I never received and did not want. I did however pay $9.95 for the shipping of a "free trial" which I did receive.

The same company tacked on a completely fraudulent recurring automatic debit fee in the amount of $89.97 from August of 2014 to January/December of 2014/15 for a product I never, ever agreed to try or buy in any form whatsoever and never received. I find this charge to be the most offensive and downright illegal.

In the interest of fairness/honesty as well as transparency, I moved during that period of time. I moved in October of 2014. That means I should have received these products for two months at the initial address and I never did. It also means I should have been forwarded the products since I promptly and legally changed my address. I was not looking for the products to come in the mail because I did not know I was signed up for them.

Thank You,

[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the entire amount I have been fraudulently charged. There may exist a legal loophole of some kind for the Ven Cleanse charge of $79.90 since I did pay shipping for the "free trial". However, I never received anything beyond that trial. The [redacted] charge of $89.95 is completely fraudulent. I never signed up for it at all. The total this company has taken me for is $849.35. I would like to be refunded all of that money via check as I am certainly not giving them my account info again nor do I want their products.

To Whom It May Concern,Thank you for contacting us upon your concern, we will be more than glad to assist you with this matter. First let me introduce you to our company and explain our deals and offers, so you can have a clearer picture about us.We provide a service, in which we ship our product directly to the customer’s home on a monthly basis so he can enjoy from our high quality product without the hassle of going out to purchase it. We do know that a monthly subscription requires a commitment to a product that can’t be obtained at a store, therefore our way to introduce the product to the customer is to let him try before he commits to the monthly subscription-this is done through our trial offer. That’s how confident we are about our product. Our trial offer is a way to get the full 30-day supply of Green [redacted] and VenCleanse, you’ll pay only $4.95 each upfront for the shipping and be able to take advantage of the product for free during 14 days. After the trial expires, if you didn’t contact to notify you wouldn’t like to continue, you will be charged the full amount of the product (as you already have the full monthly supply) and have shipped to you another bottle afterwards. A trial in general is a way to let the customer try the product so he is sure about the purchase, and it’s not a way to handle out free products. Moreover this information is clearly stated at the first paragraph of the terms and conditions you agreed to.Pls. see the terms of service that you signed up for:[redacted]With regards to customer's claim that she did not receive the products, we ship out every product promptly so the customer should have all of it. The [redacted] tracking no. that we have given to the customer when she called our Customer Service Hotline confirms she did receive all the products.I can see from our records that the customer placed her order for the trial offer last 08/**/2014 10:39pm, and didn’t contact us until 01/**/2015. We already cancelled her subscription as she requested, unfortunately the returning period expired after 14 days, and any possible refund option expired after 30 days so the solution that the customer is requesting is no longer relevant. The customer will still be responsible for payment for all the bottles that already been delivered to her at the time of her cancellation request. Since cancellation applies only to future orders that have not already been shipped or delivered, there is no need to return anything. Upon placing the order she agreed with our terms & conditions and it says, "We will not provide any refunds or accept any returns for any cancellations of trial orders made more than 14 days after placing your trial order."However, we have every desire to address the customer needs and provide the best solution available to resolve the issue as soon as possible. We can make an exception in her case and let the customer have a full refund for the most recent charge in her Green [redacted] and Vencleanse subscription which is $89.97 and $79.95. Basically, the solution for customer's claim regarding her Green [redacted] and Vencleanse subscription will be a total refund of $89.97 and $79.95 only. In order to refund that amount back into customer's account, please reply confirming that you do agree to that amount as a solution for this matter eliminating further dispute. Or instead of a refund, we can send also send two sets of Green [redacted] and Vencleanse products even though we already incurred the manufacturing and shipping of the previous orders which customer claimed that she did not receive. We will be waiting for customer's response in order to resolve her concern.Thank you,[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Review: I have the same complaint as the others that complained abt this company. Adds and testimonials on site say its a free bottle trial and they dont secretly sign me up for refills etc. They never sent me invoice. Billled me for 89 dollars a month later and sent me a cleanser I did not ask for. Their site and terms and conditions are contraductory to their testimonials posted. The man sam who answered the phone wen I called [redacted] laughed at me over the phone wen I expressed my unhappiness and a second individual called me at 10 30pm woke me up and could not provide me with an address for the company so I am unsure which lication but he said the company was green tone pro. Iv seen numerous adds online since saying free bottle trial which is not what they are doing. Big time scam.Desired Settlement: I want my money back from this scam of a company and I want them to stop taking advantage of people it is disgusting.

To whom it may concern,

Thank you for notifying us about this and I have check the customer's account with us and based on our records the customer placed the order last 07/**/2014 02:34pm PST for the Green Garcinia and Ven Cleanse Trial where the customer paid only $4.95 for shipping and handling fee.

The terms of service is on the actual website where the customer placed the order. There is a check box that the customer need to put a check mark to acknowledge that they have agreed with the product terms of service in order for them to place an order. Otherwise, the order button will not turn "clickable" until the customer put a check on the box.

When the customer placed the order for the Green Garcinia, there was a box that was checked to be shipped the Ven Cleanse as well that works hand in hand with the Green Garcinia as this will make it work faster and get faster results. The customer did have an option to un-check the box if the customer did not want to order that, however as we can see in the account, the customer was not able to do that, mainly the reason why the customer received the Ven Cleanse.

As per our terms and conditions "You are ordering a 60 capsule bottle of Green Garcinia Pro under the 14 day trial and Ven Cleanse under the 16 day trial offer for $4.95 each for shipping and handling. Orders are shipped via the US postal service. If you choose to keep the products beyond the trial period, you then will be charged the full amount of each bottle as the products that you have received is not a free sample, it's a full 30 day supply of our products. The day of your trial begins when you place the trial order. If you are not satisfied with your Green Garcinia Pro and Ven Cleanse trial offer, cancel your subscription before the trial period ends. If you are satisfied with the products, do nothing and you will be automatically enrolled in our monthly shipment program."

Pls. see the trial terms of service:

The customer called us yesterday, August ** to cancel her subscription but she was charged already $89.97 which is the full cost of the Green Garcinia because the 14 day trial that was given to the said product has already ended. To clarify, she was charged already before she even cancelled her subscription. That's why when the customer contacted us yesterday, via phone to cancel the trial subscription, one of our Customer Service Representative explained why the customer was charged for the said amount .

However, we have every desire to address the customer needs and provide the best solution available to resolve the issue, that's why when the customer contacted us yesterday, August **, 2014 via phone to cancel the trial subscription, one of our Customer Service Representative tried to explained why the customer was charged $89.97 .

To settle the customer's issue, I will be applying my discount coupon in the customer's account to provide at least a $40.00 courtesy refund or we can also send another bottle for FREE (1 Green Garcinia bottle, including the shipping) as a complimentary to resolve the customer's concern. Please let us know which of the two given resolution the customer would prefer.

We already cancelled the customer's subscription to avoid any further charges as requested yesterday which is the first time that the customer contacted us via phone. Rest assured that no more future charges will be taken out from the customers account and no more products will be sent out.

We're happy to help the customer directly. Contact us by email or phone. We look forward to helping the customer with any issue.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

I would like them to apply the 40$ discount to my account please. I DO NOT want another "FREE" bottle. thank you. also can someone look into the advertisement on their web page it says "click here for your free bottle" which is misleading since the "bottle" is not "free".

Review: While online was re-directed to another website to buy Green Tea/Garcinia supplements for only $4.99 with a money back guarantee in which I entered my credit card information. Before the trial was even over I got charged $89.97! I tired to call them over and over but no one would pick up the phone. When I finally got through to someone, so that I can cancel and get a refund, the representative was very rude and spoke in broken English. He was hard to understand but told me that the trial begins on the day you tick the box online, in other words, they begin counting day 1 from the onset online and before they ship the item or even get anything. They kept saying that it was passed the trial period even though I told him I'd send him the bottle back. He offered me a $10 refund and a free bottle instead, but that was unacceptable to me, I just wanted a refund and to cancel, but the man refused to give me refund, he was unreasonable and got extremely rude. I filed a complaint with [redacted], in which the company sent them a copy of some small print terms which are clearly not legible online, so the bank denied to return my money and would not let me appeal, even courts let you appeal. So I tried to call the company again and this time the representative just kept repeating himself and talking louder over me. He refused to refund me, telling me there was nothing he could do. He wouldn't let me speak to a [redacted] and also refused to even provide me an address. They are listed under various different names online which should have been a red flag... [redacted]. These people are totally unscrupulous, I lost my money, got truly aggravated and have no recourse now.Desired Settlement: I would like to get a refund for the original amount they pretty much stole from me - $89.97

I can see from our records that the customer placed the order for the trial offer last 07/**/2014, and didn't contact us until 08/**/2014. The customer even filed a dispute to her Bank for the $89.97 charge but it was clearly denied because her Bank decided in our favor that what we charged her is valid and legitimate as the customer agreed to the Terms and Conditions of the trial offer upon signing up. As stated, the customer signed up on our trial offer on the [redacted] day of July and she was charged $89.97 on the [redacted] day of August, technically the 14 days trial has already ended when she got charged for the said amount.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because

The company's response is inaccurate and incorrect. The order was placed on 7/** and my bank charged my account on 7/** (I have bank records but did not feel comfortable uploading such private information), that is only two days later and clearly not within a 14-trial period, as they state. Any legitimate trial period begins at the point the product is in the customer's hand and not on the onset of a click. Charging a person's account before the product is in the customer's hands seems unethical and appears as if it were a tactic to ensure that a customer does not have enough time to use the product, see if its effective or not, and decide if they want to keep it or send it back. It's like a customer is paying for an unknown product upfront without the opportunity to properly assess it. The company is pushing the product on you like a hot potato that even hasn't reached your hands yet. In addition, it is hard to reach a person at the company, as they do not always answer the phone, another tactic to delay a cancellation and refund. When you do get through, they do not listen to your complaint or try to help you, what they do is try to push another bottle on you to shut you up. They are extremely rude and I think what they count on is that the customer gets so frustrated that they just give up and lose the money all to their benefit. They are promoting via [redacted], which they just joined in January of 2014: Go here and you will see how many people have complained about this scam. I do not at this point expect a refund but DO want the public to know that they are ripping people off: [redacted]. They are taking advantage of people and it is the duty of the Revdex.com to investigate them. I am including a screenshot of their page in case they try to deny everything again, so that you can see how many people have complaints. Please check the 11,550 reports filed on them from [redacted] at [redacted] too, there are so many people out there that have been scammed by this. Not everyone has the time or knowledge in filing a complaint, so on behalf of everyone whose been scammed by this fraudulent company, I urge action and an investigation.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Response:

To Whom It May Concern,

We are a fair and legitimate company, all our promises are stated at the terms and conditions, and all the promises our company made are always fulfilled - there is a trial period, as stated in the Terms and Conditions and there is a specific period where you can only try the products for free. The word "sample" was never mentioned in our terms and the word "free" was related to the trial not the product.

Our trial offer is a way of the company to verify the customer's satisfaction, it means our company is so confident about our products that it would let our customers use it at the company's expense to assure them that they are dealing with a high quality products.

The fact that our customers decided to get advantage of our company's offer and get "free stuff" at our company's expense isn't it legitimate? As the trial was created for our customers who are trying to decide if our products are good for them and not for people who want to take advantage of a fair trade.

As we have stated the customer was charged on 08/**/2014 12:13am to be exact for $89.97 and we ask the customer to provide the proof that she was charged on 7/** because the date of charge should reflect on customer's Bank statement and it is not possible for the customer to be charged within the trial period. If the customer was charged within the trial period, why her Bank did not decide on her favor? Because we did charge the customer after the said trial period which is stated on our Terms and Conditions.

Thank you

Review: False advertising and charging credit card for product I have not ordered. I signed up for a free trial of [redacted] pro and Tone Cleanse and a few weeks later my charge card was billed $89.97 for additional [redacted] Pro and $79 for additional Tone Cleanse. There may have been a disclaimer for the trial but I didn't see it and it was not emailed to me. I received no confirmation email when I signed up for the trial and the only way I found out I was being charged was when I received more product in the mail that I had not ordered and called my credit card company to find out if their were additional charges to my account. My husband also received the same trial and additional charges on his credit card. We have left messages with the company and emailed their customer support and filed disputes with our credit card companies but have had no response yet on this. I feel this company is operating fraudulently and unethically.Desired Settlement: I believe I should receive a full refund for the products. I also believe the company should be forced to show all the discloser information and send a confirmation with the same discloser information so the customer is aware of what they are doing rather than tricking them into it.

Review: I placed an on-line order for a trial product for $4.95. I was sent this product and another product, which I didn't order. About 2 weeks later I got billed $79.95 and $89.95. I called them to ask why I was I received the 2 products and why I was charged $169.92 rather than $4.95. I was told I had agreed to purchase both products and my trial period was only 14 days from the date I ordered the product (nowhere did I see that I was signing up for anything.) I didn't even receive the product until close to 14 days after I ordered so I argued that I couldn't possibly had tried the product for 14 days when I had only had it in my possession for 10 days or so. I cancelled my "subscription" as they called it and further argued for a refund. Eventually they provided me with $50 off each product indicating that I would receive a credit via an email link. My cancellation numbers were #[redacted]. I continued to check my email regularly and did not receive this credit link. I called to ask why I hadn't received my email and was told it was sent and I had only 30 days to activate the credit. I asked them to send it again and they refused telling me that I had gone beyond the 30 days and there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak to a manager and was told they couldn't transfer my call. When I demanded an escalation to a superior, they hung up on me.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive the refund that was promised to me. This was to be sent via email in October and I do not have any record of receiving it.

I was sent that product and an additional product, Ven Cleanse Advance, which I did not consent to ordering and for which I was charged an additional 4.95. Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I have no recollection of any such box to un-check. Nor do I recollect any terms and conditions. I received no receipt of any kind, no communication in my e-mail and NO ORDER CONFIRMATION. When the trial bottle arrived there was no paperwork enclosed. Nowhere did I have terms and conditions that were obvious. I tried to call the numbers provided on my credit card statement by your company right away and they were non functioning. Furthermore, I did not even receive any order beyond the bottle of Green Garcinia which I agreed to try and the Ven Cleanse which I did not want.

I believe that there should have been an order confirmation to my e-mail with the terms outlined so that I could have cancelled in a timely manner. Again, I did not see or receive the terms that allegedly appeared on your web page.

I respectfully ask that I be refunded the entire amount of the charges for Green Garcinia and Ven Cleanse (79.95 plus 89.99) respectively the amount knowingly I agreed to. If any product arrives I would be willing to return it with a shipping label provided by the company.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Our terms and conditions are stated on the very first page, you have to click on them before signing up. Moreover the terms and conditions are not endless and written in black bold letters.

Agreeing to terms and conditions is legally parallel to signing a contract (as we have all the proofs needed) - for example if you sign a contract to get a house on the [redacted] but pay for it on the [redacted], then it’s legitimate because both sides agreed to the terms, if you didn’t read the contract and signed for it with the impression the house will be for free, then it’s clear that the seller won’t return the money when you figure it wasn’t.

Our trial offer is more than fair; it gives you the opportunity to try the products and if you don’t like it you can return return it as long as that you are still within the trial period. You had the opportunity to get a free amount of the product, within the trial period, but you did not contact us before the end of the trial period, according to the terms that you agreed by signing up, we charged you for the amount stated on the terms and conditions.

Here is a copy of the terms;

Like what we have stated in the previous response, we can no longer provide a full refund since we can not be held responsible or liable if the customer did not contact us during the trial period which is the reason why the customer was charged for the full amount of the products. but we are willing to settle the customer's issue by applying a discount coupon in the customer's account to provide at least a $40.00 courtesy refund in each of the charges which will give the customer a total courtesy refund of $80.00 or we can also send another bottles for FREE (Green Garcinia and Vencleanse including the shipping) as a complimentary to resolve the customer's concern.

[Your Answer Here]

Like I have stated in my previous complaints, I would like a full refund--that is the only honorable thing to do on your part.

You have charged me a ridiculous amount of money for a product I never even received and have exercised poor business practices, having neglected to give me an order confirmation, receipt or any other record of the alleged order. Anything else is unacceptable, not to mention insulting.

Review: I purchased a product online, provided my debit card and during the purchase was asked if I wanted to purchase a second product for shipping and handling. At the time of the purchase the web page said it was a trial product with 4.95 shipping and handling. I declined the second product a Vens Clense,. Later I discovered 2 charges on my debit card for 4.95 and I received the Ven Cleanse that I said I didn't want. Then I received another charge of 79$, I contacted the company, they took me to a web page saying it was the page I ordered from, in a terms of agreement that was not easily readable they showed me where 14 days after ordering you would be charged 89$. This was not the page that I originally ordered from though. unfortunately I cannot find the page. Additionally, it is the 15th day from the order online per the company. When I spoke to them about it I was told it is the fault of the consumer if they did not read all the terms of the agreement and that since it was day 15 they would do nothing about the charge. When I looked online I found numerous reports of this being a scam, this company has done this to many people. The company informed me it is all legal and there is nothing that can be done about it. Additionally, when I stated I planned to contact the Revdex.com they informed me I would be charged additional fees, the help desk person stated $90 for filing a fraudulent fraud claim. As well as fees they would charge my debit card holder and that the debit card holder would charge me for any actions I took with my bank. I contacted my bank, they immediately knew of the company and said it has happened to a number of their cardholders. They cancelled my debit card and are issuing a new one. They will not accept any more charges from this company on my credit card. Further, the bank issued a fraud claim according to the bank employee handling my case.Desired Settlement: I did order the initial product from a site that said $4.95 shipping and handling. I have stopped using the product and have it available to return to the company(Green Garcinia Pro), The Ven Cleanse product I did not order I have and has never been opened the safety seal is still on the bottle. I would like all charges removed from my debit card exept the initial $4.95 shipping and handling that I agreed too. I am willing to ship back the ven cleanse and the remaining green Garcinia Pro.

To whom it may concern,

Thank you for notifying us about this and I have check the customer's account with us and based on our records the customer placed the order last 08/**/2014 01:40pm PST for the Green Garcinia and Ven Cleanse Trial where the customer paid only $4.95 for shipping and handling fee of each product.

When the customer placed the order for the Green Garcinia, there was a box that was checked to be shipped the Ven Cleanse as well that works hand in hand with the Green Garcinia as this will make it work faster and get faster results. The customer did have an option to un-check the box if the customer did not want to order that like what he stated, however as we can see in the account, the customer was not able to do that, mainly the reason why the customer received the Ven Cleanse and was charge $4.95 for shipping and handling fee and let us clarify that the only charge that we have on customer's account is only two $4.95 shipping and handling fee for each of the product and one $89.97 which is for the full cost of the Green Garcinia bottle, the customer was never charge $79.00.

The customer spoke with one of our Customer Service Representative where he requested to be refunded and our Representative only explained why the customer was charged for the said amount and never threaten the customer for additional charges that might occur instead he was informed that if he's going to file a claim to his bank and this will turn around, he might get charged for accusing us of fraud by his bank since other banks does that. Please be reminded as well that the charge of $89.97 came from the Green Garcinia bottle that the customer originally ordered for $4.95 because he was only given a free 14 day trial for the said product and if he will not cancel the subscription he will be charge for the full cost of the bottle because it's not a free sample, it's the actual product that we sell.

However, we have every desire to address the customer needs and provide the best solution available to resolve the issue. Even though he's no longer eligible for a full refund our Customer Service Representative still offered him the maximum courtesy refund of $50.00 back in his card where the customer also agreed and we already sent an email to the customer's email address regarding the said resolution and we are just waiting for his response that he's accepting it so we can get an approval from our Finance Dept. to issue and process the said $50.00 courtesy refund immediately.

We're happy to help the customer directly. Email or call us at our Customer Service hotline number. We look forward to helping the customer with any issue.

Thank you very much

Response:

I will accept the offer of $50 refund as stated in the letter they sent to you, the Revdex.com. I have cancelled the card that they were issuing charges on to ensure no additional charges are made. I would also like to insure that any reoccurring shipments, billing or agreements with this company are stopped. Thank you for your assistance in this matter. I do feel the way this company has handled its business is not open and forthright. A reputable company would not hide charges in a box that is not easily viewable and offer a 14 day trail that ends 9 days after you receive the product but 14 days from the order. Additionally, reviewing the internet shows that there are numerous consumers who have had the same concerns and issues with this company. Unfortunately, the company appears to have managed to find a legal way to continue take advantage of consumers. It is my hope that this letter is forwarded to the company and the response is given through the Revdex.com so that I have documented proof of correspondence. Already, the company and I have not agreed on if I ordered the second product, which I still state I did not. Hopefully, correspondence through the Revdex.com will make the outcome a clear and open communication.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Thank you againg.

Sincerely,

Review: I purchased, what I though was A free bottle of Garcenia Cambosia(just pay $4.95 shipping). My bank account was debited for $89.95 plus $79.95 for the Garcenia and Ven Cleanse, which I didn't knowingly order.I haven't opened either product, which I offered to return in exchange for A refund. They refuse to refund my purchase.Desired Settlement: Just take your products back and issue A refund.

The customer called us yesterday, September * to cancel her subscription but she was charged already $89.97 and $79.95 which is the full cost of the Green Garcinia and Ven Cleanse products because the 14 day trial that was given to the said product has already ended. To clarify, she was charged already before she even cancelled her subscription. That's why when the customer contacted us yesterday, via phone to cancel the subscription, one of our Customer Service Representative explained why the customer was charged for the said amount .

However, we have every desire to address the customer needs and provide the best solution available to resolve the issue. To settle the customer's issue, I will be applying my discount coupon in the customer's account to provide at least a $40.00 courtesy refund for each of the charges (Total courtesy refund of $80.00) or we can also send another bottles for FREE (1 Green Garcinia bottle and 1 Vencleanse bottle, including the shipping) as a complimentary to resolve the customer's concern. Please let us know which of the two given resolution the customer would prefer.

We already cancelled the customer's subscription to avoid any further charges as requested yesterday which is the first time that the customer contacted us via phone. Rest assured that no more future charges will be taken out from the customers account and no more products will be sent out.
