Review: Entered a contractual agreement for a loan modification-home saver legal program with this entity to complete this process with my lender [redacted]. I paid $2,895.00 for this service to be completed, only to receive a denial letter from my lender and the contact phone number for this entity is no longer in service.Desired Settlement: I would like a complete refund for lack of services rendered in the amount of $2,895.00 as well as compensation for fraud which has placed in position of losing my families home. I would like for them to be exposed so that no one else endures the hardship this company has caused me and my family.

Review: After providing requested documents pursuant to a mortgage refinance and sending a check to cover costs of closing not included in "wrap arounds", this company has evaporated. Phone calls go directly to voice mail where the result is ultimately that the mail box is full and cannot accept more calls. Similarly, emails and faxes are ignored. I have made every effort I know to reach this organization to no avail. I believe this to be a fraudulent scheme. It is my intent to alert any and all who may have influence/interest in thwarting their further efforts to rip off the public!Desired Settlement: Best case scenario--get my money back and see that these scammers cease and desist.

Review: This company advertised themselves as being a Loan Modification Company and I trusted them. I was dealing with a gentleman name Mr. [redacted] and he has really disappointed me. I also spoke to a [redacted] and [redacted] or [redacted], I got no satisfaction from them. This company took my hard earned money and I have seen nothing in return.I am about to lose my home because of Green Tree Financial group, and I have 2 kids, I am a single parent. I do not recommend this company to anyone.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to take full responsibility for me loseing my home and re-emburse me for my home and I would like a refund of the money I sent to them

Review: Back in November we where contacted by [redacted] with GreenTree Financial about a loan modification sent us the paper work showing our payments would decrease and principal would decrease all we needed to do was sighn and send 2695.00 we did also told us not to answer calls from our lender he was taking care of everything he was calling every tuesday then started skipping a week now we can't get in touch with anyone now we are being foreclosed on the last call we got was from [redacted] with GreenTree asking for December and January check stubs which we sent have left several emails and messages no one will call us back now we are loosing our home out of 2695.00 and they have our account numbers,Social security numbers all of our personal information we want all of our information back and the money they took from us these people are breaking the law and need to be stoppedDesired Settlement: We would like our personal information back and a Refund of the $2695.00 they took and would like to see them shut down before someone else ends up like us and legal action against them

Review: Mortgage relief- they reached out to me after filing loss mitigation for my mortgage. I have email stating I am guaranteed a interest rate of 2% and had to pay $2495.00 to file for all government grants I would be entitled to, to reduce my principal on the mortgage since the value of my home is way lower than what I still owe on the home. Needless to say they received the last payment "required" in May 2014 and here we are almost into October and nothing was done, my loss mitigation case was closed, thankfully I took time off and dealt with my Mortgage company directly, but for someone who doesn't have the cash that I need that I paid Green Tree if I am able to get back and use toward paying those who need to get paid. Green tree has not returned any of my calls, nor sent any requested documents which would've put me into the foreclosure process if I had not taken time to handle myself.Desired Settlement: $2495.00 + $41.71 for overnight costs to send my checks as required.

Review: We submitted $2900 (12/2013) for closing cost in advance of being approved. [redacted] told us we qualified for a program because we were current with out mortgage. They then put us in a foreclosure program, which we didn't qualify for. We told them that we wouldn't qualify as we were current.

In April I talked to [redacted] about getting the funds refunded. She sent me the forms to fill out. She told me it would be 4-6 weeks. I faxed the forms on May 5, 2014. June 16, 2016 was the six week date.

We have called and no one answers their phones and either mailboxes are full or they do not return phone calls.

We have sent another copy of refund forms by certified mail. They arrived and were signed for on June 26, 2014.

We sent a letter requesting a response by certified mail and it was received and signed for on July 14, 2014.

We hope that you can get to the bottom of this.

Thank You,

[redacted] & [redacted]Desired Settlement: Refund of the $2,900 we paid to have our mortgage refinanced at a lower interest rate. This did not happen.

Review: I were contacted by GreenTree Financial Group in April 2014. Stating they could help me lower my mortgage interest rate. An mortgage payment by one half. I was struggling with my mortgage payments at that time because loss of household income. So GreenTree offered me a government package T.A.R.P. program and stated I would be a perfect candidate cause of my fix income and disability. Since I couldn't afford to pay in full they ask for (two) payments in amount of $1,197.50 each. Plus all the faxes and certified mailings. After the second check was received, there has been no more follow-ups. The phones that they were using were no longer in service. I haven't heard from GreenTree since they received my 2nd check, or payment in full. GreenTree financial used a second address also, 5000 Birch St. #3000 Newport Beach, CA 92660 phone # 949-274-9058. Thanks for your help.Desired Settlement: Refund

Review: [redacted]Green Tree Financial Group, solicited me by phone to have them do my loan modification on the mortgages that I have with OCWEN Financial around March 2015. I told them that I was in the process of refinancing the properties and to call me back. They call me back in April and I told them that the lender denied refinancing my loan because I need to live in the home for at least 1 yr. The people that I communicated with are as follows: [redacted] , [redacted] and [redacted] was the first contact that I told that OCWEN Financial had denied my loan modification once. He said not to worry there are other underwriters that will approve the loan and the it will cost me around $[redacted] for both loans and that I would have to pay it up front. After I paid the $[redacted] they send me the forms that I fill out for the Loan Modification that I returned to them along with other documents. About a month after around July, I started to have problem communicating with [redacted] and the rest of staff. I found out from HUD that only the Lender can modify the loans.Desired Settlement: I a requesting that they returned my money in the sum of $[redacted] asap.

Review: In December 2013, I forwarded documents to Mr. [redacted] of Green Tree Financial Group for review to modify my existing mortgage loan. In January 2014, I was contacted by Mr. [redacted] and told my loan was pre-approved and additional documents and payment would be required which I forwarded. The agreement I signed included a clause stating that if things did not work out as intended, a refund of my retainer would be promptly provided. I was then contacted by [redacted] who requested additional documents which I forwarded. I was then contacted by [redacted] who said my file was now complete and no further information was required. After numerous phone, email and fax messages, to check on the status of my loan, were not returned, I contacted by current mortgage company in February and was told no documents were received from Green Tree and this company was not authorized to access my account. Based on information I then provided to my mortgage company, I was told that a modification would not be approved since I did not qualify under their criteria. I then forwarded a request for a refund of my retainer to Mr. [redacted]. In late February, I received a call from [redacted] asking if I would like to continue the loan process or maintain my request for a refund. I stated that I would like the refund since the loan will not approved by my mortgage company. In March, I received an email from Michelle Page requesting completion of a Refund Request Form which I submitted by fax. To date, I have not received the refund. Numerous phone calls, email and fax messages have not been returned by:[redacted], ###-###-####, ###-###-#### m[redacted]Fax ###-###-####[redacted], ###-###-####, ###-###-####, [redacted], ###-###-####, [redacted], Fax ###-###-####[redacted] Fax ###-###-####Desired Settlement: A refund in the amount of $3,081.00

Review: I was promised a loan modification but never received one. I paid $6495 and signed a contract for a refund if process didn't go through. This all began in October 2013. I was contacted via phone by [redacted] of Green Tree Financial group [redacted] about a loan modification that would lower principal, lower rate and lower payment with my mortgage company, [redacted]. He said they had contact with all major mortgage companies and had an inside connection to the risk mitigation department. He began by contacting me every Tuesday with a status. When I became frustrated and irate in late December about where we were in the process, he disappeared literally. I have sent countless emails and made numerous calls to the office ([redacted] and his phone [redacted] and the voicemail gives you the runaround. No one answers or returns the calls since January 28, 2014. I simply want my money back , no questions asked. I no longer care about a loan modification.Desired Settlement: I simply want my money back , no questions asked. I no longer care about a loan modification.

Review: This company is a scam. They reached out to me in hopes of refinancing my home. I mailed them 3000.00 to find out that my home is being auctioned off. I am 66 year old woman with cancer and in no shape to be thrown out of my home. I was given names and email addresses and the people have went MIA. They are a fraud. I have looked them up on RIPOFF.com and there are other complaints with them doing the same to others across the United States.Desired Settlement: I want my 3000.00 back!!!!! I will lose my home, but want my money returned.

Review: Green Tree Financial Group is fraudulent. I paid them $2,800 to help me get a principal reduction on my mortgage. US Bank sent me a foreclosure notice and the bank said I was a victim of fraud.Desired Settlement: I have been calling attorney and will not take my case. I want to suite them for taking advantage of my husband and I.

Review: We filled out application and sent all requested information: including SSN, income tax statements, bank and credit info and a check of $[redacted]. Review: Paid $1995 fee for mortgage modification, December 13. They haven't done anything. Requested my money be returned. No answer, no reply, nothing.

I had been working with a [redacted], a [redacted], and a [redacted] since December 2013. [redacted], the holder of my file, stated that to qualify for the modification I had to be 4 months delinquent in my mortgage payments. Four months go by and I receive a foreclosure notice from my mortgage company. Thank God I saved those four months of payments...I was able to wire the payments and avoided foreclosure. I contacted ALL 3 of them when this occurred to inform them that their 4 month rule was NOT accurate. I also told [redacted], who stated he is in their Legal Department that I wanted my fees returned to me. His reply via email: "[redacted],

I will put in a request for a refund. The accounting department will be in contact with you to go over the procedures. Thank you." Haven't heard from anyone. No one answers their phone. No more replies to my emails. I've sent faxes...I tried contacting the 'accounting department' myself but was told there is no such department. I was thinking of contacting a local NEWS station to have them track these people/this company down so that we can GET OUR MONEY BACK!!!Desired Settlement: I would be happy with the entire $1995 however, I should be asking for interest and hardship as well.

Review: This company advertised themselves as being a Loan Modification Company and I trusted them. I was dealing with a gentleman name Mr. [redacted] and he has really disappointed me. This company took my hard earned money and I have seen nothing in return. They also used the fact that President [redacted] is assisting home owners who have a FHA loan. I do not recommend this company to no one because they are just not proficient and true to their word. All I can say is you live and you learn and I have learned my lesson.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the money I sent to them so that I can pay my real Mortgage Company.

Review: This company promised me a loan modification under the government program.I gave them 2250.00 as an installment payment to start the process. After I found out my mortgage company will not do it, I have not heard back from anyone.Scary thing is they have all my information, bank statements, loan papers, check stubs. Social security numberDesired Settlement: 2250.00 back and to find out what they are doing with people and their information.
