I hired this company to replace my roof. the contract states an install date of 30 days. I have been waiting over 18 months...
I have been waiting over 18 months to have my roof replaced when the contract states 30 days. I was told that my claim fell through the cracks when an employee left their company. I called and talked to Lisa and Holly but all they have every said is that they are "behind because of the rain". which I understand. then Troy and William(owners I think) found out that I had been waiting the longest out of any of their customers so they said they would move me to the front. it has been another 2 months since they "moved me up in line". I still do not have my roof replaced. They always have excuses why they haven't replaced my roof. I asked them how many roofs do they replace in a week. William said, "5-8 weather permitting" but some how I am still not part of one of the weekly roofs being replaced. I do not trust them to replace my roof at this point. I am also trying to sell my house which this is a huge red flag for buyers. I will never recommend this company to anyone.

Desired Outcome

I wish to have my money back($7250.39) plus $3,000 to pay for the cost of a new roof so i can sell my house with confidence that the roof will be sell-able.

Signing of the contract (roofing repair) and choosing the color, then gave the two party check, no work has been done. it's been a 1yr and 5 months.
Contract was signed 3/13/2018, this is for roof repair. The project manager collected the payment on 4/12/2018 of a two party home insurance and he did not schedule the installation date. The check giving was 4,000.00.Since days pass multiple roof shingles has falling off the roof.Received numerous phone calls each week by the representative to tell me "We have not forgotten about you, have a nice day." when ask how soon? , she would tell me " due to the weather and schedule is backed up" It's just been to long, roof is falling apart, and I've informed them it is in bad condition, but they give me the same response.

Desired Outcome

Please get started on my roof.

hired company to roof home. 10 months later no work done.
Asked for refund and was told they would hold 20% back.

Greenforce solicited at front door to replace roof.
Signed for work to be done and was told it would be 3 -4 months for work to be completed.
sign on 9/14/18.
Gave them insurance check 2 weeks later.
No work has been stared. Asked for refund. Was told they would keep 20% and would take ten weeks to process refund.
Called holly for update on 7/11/2019 and was told she had no contact with legal department which handles refunds.

Desired Outcome

full refund of insurance check of 5,532.94

Contracted with Greenforce in August 2018 to replace my roof after hail damage. Currently in July 2019 with no work done or even a scheduled date.
Greenforce Restoration came to my house in efforts to win a contract to replace my roof after recent hail damage. I signed the contract and paid through my insurance provider with the expectation that the roof would be completed within the 45-90 day window Greenforce estimated. This was back in August 2018 and I have yet to have my roof replaced or even have a date scheduled when this activity can start. I have called multiple times articulating my frustration with the matter and I have told Greenforce that I would like my insurance money back so that I can work with another contractor. However, they have refused and stated that they need the money to purchase their material in bulk. It is now July 2019, almost a year from when I signed the contract and I have yet to have my roof replaced. At this point, I am concerned that there may be fraudulent activity occurring.

Desired Outcome

I would either like my roof replaced within the next two weeks or my insurance money provided in full along with interest of a year's risk free rate return (which the 1 year treasury is at 2.00%).

we sign a contract on 3/18 to get our roof replace as of 7/19 we Still do not have a roof.we were told 30/65 days we called no one never return calls.
Troy St. Pierre came to our home on 2/19/18 he was very professional and walked us through the process. We signed an insurance claim contract on the same day 2/19/18. Then on 3/22/18, Paul ***, the claim specialist came out and we discussed the the color and design of the roof we wanted. We signed an agreement the same day 3/22/18. We were told and it is stated on the project specification form that our roof would be installed in 30 to 45 days. However, it July 3, 2019 and we have yet to receive our new roof. We now have developed a leaky roof and have sheet rock damage as well. They have put some tarps up, but for over month we have been asking for a tarp over my son's room and have yet to receive a tarp, and the sheet rock in my son's room is now damaged. I have had to put several buckets in the attic to stop the leaks. When you call the office we continue to get the run-around about when our roof will be installed. They keep referring to this mysterious list that we are supposedly on and that they are close to an install. When we try to contact Troy or Paul we go straight to voice and no returned calls. When I inquired about a refund, I was told that they would keep 30%. This is not fair being that we have been waiting for a roof for over a year and now have added damage due to a leaky roof. This company is horrible, and I feel as if we have been scammed.

Desired Outcome

The Resolution we are seeking is a Refund we were told that they would have to keep 30% of the partial down payment.I think that's very unfair for a company that has not done any work on our property.

Contractor's delay in roof install but have received the insurance check and cashed it over 6 months ago.
I signed an Insurance Claim Contract on 09/11/18 with *** with Greenforce Restoration LLC to have my roof on my home replaced. My insurance company sent me a check(s)totaling $10,872.78 that was endorsed by me, and given to Sales Manager, *** St. *** on 11/23/18 to go towards the replacement of my roof. The contract states, "Upgrade items are given in exchange of time and patience on install." My contract states a TENTATIVE Install Date of 4-6 months from the date signed on 11/23/18, and installs postponed with >30% chance of rain. The insurance check(s) was cashed on 11/27/18 and my roof is yet to be replaced. I have been informed a number of times by Office Managers, Lisa or Holly that they are running behind due to the weather, and could not tell me how close they were to an installation. I have notified Greenforce of shingles seen on the ground during this 6 month wait period and the tarp they put down 6 months ago has blown up from the roof, covering nothing. Needless to say, this gives me great concern with other possible leaks developing and causing structural damage, mold and mildew. The 6 months expired 05/23/19 and I still do not have an install date.

Desired Outcome

I'm disappointed and have stressed terribly behind this unreasonable wait. At this point, I DO NOT TRUST doing business with GREENFORCE, and I request the contract null and void because it appears they have breached it. Refund the monies of $10,872.78 plus interest of 16%, and a penalty of $1000.

No deductible , we will cover for everything!
We had a hail storm in dallas last march 24 2109. As a home owner , I was very concerned about of what my insurance will pay and how to raise the !% deductible to fix the roof and damages window. These guys was knocking on my door and misled to have no decutible " we will cover everything " scheme. They had me sign the papers even tho I said initially im not signing papers . with three guys in the room I have agreed to sign the papers which they said I can cancel the contract within three days. I specifically said I would like to have a copy of the contract for me to review and I was told they have to take the paperworks to the office for scanning and will be sending me a copy of the contract. I waited and even called Wiliam Ordesch ( Field Roof Operations manager ) to send me a copy of the contract which they never did. Now im bound to the contract that I signed. A week later a contractor named troy came to my house and I was told that he can only cover the roof and few repairs which was totally different from the sales talk and promises that they had.. they had my repairs schedules four to 8 months from the signing of the contractors contract which means repairs will be done sometine this august. They had been asking for the insurance check even tho the last contract says ..full payment will be due before contruction . Two weeks ago I received a voicemail from the greenforce office manager Holly that the ocnstruction is on hold until they will get the full amount. Even tho the construction date is not scheduled august. . Considering that they put my contract on hold I have decided to terminate my contract with them. and now they have been harassing me to pay for the almost 5k termination fee.

Desired Outcome

They convinced me to sign a contract without giving me a copy which I ask for from the very beginning. If i had it i could have read it and should have cancelled the contract. . they should have stated what is not covered and what is covered on the initial contract instead a tag of war on the construction contract. And the honest time line of the construction date should be stated instead of surprising me with 4 to 8 months time frame. they hold the processing of my contract without a full paycheck from the insurance company even though the actual construction wont be til august to December. And I'm not paying for the 5k termination fee for services not rendered . not a single shingle is on my house from this company.

GreenForce Restoration solicited door to door my husband and I, senior citizens 10 months ago for work that they were paid for but NEVER did.
On June 2,2018, GreenForce Restoration, ***-Claims Specialist was soliciting door to door in my neighborhood. He informed my husband and I that we needed our roof and fence repaired, that they were in bad condition. He said that he would take care of everything with my homeowners insurance company ,i.e. from doing the inspections, to getting the estimate to my homeowners insurance company and submitting the claims. That I did not have to do a single thing but sign over the claims checks over to GreenForce Restorations once they arrived. On July 6,2018 my homeowners insurance company mailed me 2 checks, one for $2887.62 for the roof repair and the other check for $1279.42 for the fence, total $4167.04. On July 11, 2018, Troy S-Sales Manager promptly came to my home to pick up the two checks and informed me that the job would be started within 45-90 days. Ten Months later, I have NOTHING to show for the $4167.04 that was paid to GreenForce Restoration, No Roof, No Fence. I have made numerous attempts over the telephone and in emails these last ten months, only to be told," your home is still NOT on the pending jobs list. We will contact you when it is." This is what Lisa LOffice Manager and most recently Holly has been telling me. At this time, my husband ,John and I want NOTHING DONE BY GREENFORCE RESTORATION on our home, BUT REQUEST A FULL REFUND WITH ZERO DEDUCTIONS. My husband, John and I are senior citizens on a fixed income and we feel victimized/targeted by this company/representatives and want to end this ongoing nightmare. That is the reason we are asking Revdex.com to please help us out, since my request these last ten months have gone no where.
Thank you,
*** and John

Desired Outcome

My husband and I want a FULL refund of the $4167.04 with No deductions, that our homeowners insurance company paid out on these claims for repairs to our home that GreenForce Resoration never started. WE Do not want GreenForce Restoration to do anything on our house anymore. We do not want to do business with this company. They had 10 months to complete the job and they did not see fit to do it. Therefore, we want the $4167.04 refunded back to us. Thank you, Isabel and John T

Patience has worn thin. I Request 100% check refund + ALL costs to repair water leaks while waiting for new roof install that has yet to occurr!
On 5/26/18 Greenforce mgr Mr. St Pierre came by to pick up ins check for $3430.59. As of today, 4/10/19 - over 10 months have past and still no new roof! In addition, there's been (3) water leaks, note that they do send a repair person to patch roof but they have not addressed damage repairs to ceilings.

I get calls from their office (Lisa or Holly) every other month or so telling me that due to rain they cannot install & that I'm still on the waiting list and no idea when they will get to me. I mentioned canceling they advise I would need to pay 20%. 4/3/19, I e-mailed Mr. St Pierre for assistance due to new leak I also copied the office since he did not reply. They sent someone to look at roof to patch up new leak. I have yet to get reply on install date and water damage. Holly did called on 4/9/19 asking if I had any 'new leaks'. I left message that I needed resolution. No reply from her...so today 4/10/19, I called @10:30 AM & was informed it looked like 'possibly in four weeks' to install. Enough is enough. I asked for a definite schedule date and she did not know, that she would ask the proj. mgr; Will. I asked for his contact info and she refused to provide me his contact number I asked her to text him to contact me no later than 3 PM today and I did not get a response back from her or Will.

Obviously, I need my roof replaced, but due to the length it has taken them AND water damage I would like to get it done ASAP but no later than April 30th. Otherwise, I ask (1) they relieve me of the contract without fees, (2) refund check for $3430.59 immediately and (3)either way that they pay for All the water leak repairs since damage transpired during their watch and up until refund is received by me.

Desired Outcome

Refund $3430.59, Relieve me of contract (no fees), Pay for water leak repairs to ceilings. Or Install New roof no later than 4/30th Pay for all water leak repairs caused

Our company strives to make every customer a satisfied customer. Even though that's
our goal, occasionally it doesn't work out as we would like.
It has taken a while to get Ms. roof replaced. However, in this case Ms.
waited for six months to sign a roof replacement contract with our company after we had already
shown her that she had roof damage. The months that she waited allowed her roof to degrade
even further. Additionally, Ms. has a number of skylights in her home that have leaks. We
offered to replace the flashing and re-seal all of her skylights before we did her roof replacement.
She has refused to have her skylights repaired. We understand her frustration but what she has
reported here to the Revdex.com is not the complete set of facts. That said, our company has had some
challenges in getting Ms. roof replacement completed.
Our process includes working with a licensed public insurance adjuster to negotiate with
the insurance company so that we can get as much damage coverage as possible for our
customers. This takes time. We bundle our purchase of roofing materials so that we can offer our
customers a transferable lifetime materials warranty as an added benefit to the customer at no
additional cost. This also takes time. Because of these processes, we actually write on the face of
our customer contracts that it can be months to complete the roof replacement. Customers are
usually excited and agree so that they get the additional benefits, and are usually patient, but
sometimes a customers' patience does wear thin.
Additionally, during the fall of 2018 (August through October and December) we averaged
10.45 inches of rain per month. This was the wettest fall ever recorded in North Texas. Already
this year in 2019, we have had almost 18 inches of rainfall over the first 4 months of the year.
These unusual and record-breaking rainfall levels have limited the number of days available to
work on roof replacements and the rain and the hailstorms have prevented us from effectively
reducing our customer backlog as quickly as we would like.
Our company completes 15-20 roof replacements a month. To manage this pace, we have
been diligently working through the list to reduce our customer backlog. Regardless, we have
moved Ms. to the front of the line on our customer backlog list. We will work with Ms.
*** to get her roof replacement completed to her satisfaction. We will contact Ms. no
later than Monday (5/20) and give her a specific roof replacement date that will be before the
end of the month (5/31). It is our hope that we can convert Ms. into a satisfied customer.

Customer Response • May 21, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I agree with the fact that their contact process actually started in early 2018, due to the Fact I was in the hospital with my mother I could not meet with their rep. until after her release, I believe I met with him in February 2018. Then on March 3, 2018 their adjuster comes and Insurance Claim Contract is signed by me. They contact my insurance and both adjusters meet to inspect roof on March 15, 2018. After that I get calls to follow up on check. I was then instructed to call my insurance due to no check and the insurance reissues check to me. Reissue is received and the project agreement is then signed and check endorsed over on May 26, 2018. Fact is, the process did take time but not because I waited to sign the contract rather because of the 'process time or negotiations with the insurance'.

My issue started with the first leak in December 2018 (7 months) AFTER they cashed the insurance check. If they count from their insurance claim contract dated March 3, 2018, then it is now past 14 months. Either way you pick 14 or 12 months wait its to long. I've been waiting since then and I still have no new roof. Could it be that they give priority to referrals and put everyone else on 'backlog'? If I remember correctly they mentioned to me that a customer had referred about 100 prospective customers and that for each referral you would receive gift cards. Well, I had no replies so no referrals given by me, makes me wonder if they are picking the next install by customers with referrals first...

Over a week ago, Holly called if I had any new leaks. I asked Holly about repairs and she said they would fix the leaks, but she did not provide a date to repair. I need to know when this will be done. It would be nice to get positive communication on the repair date.

Second of all, this is the first time I am hearing about an issue with the skylights. I only have one (1) skylight, and there was no offer presented verbal or written to me before/after as they state. The only thing I was told is that they would have to replace it because it was cracked, and so I understood it would be part of the roof replacement I do not recall any other conversation covering the skylight And if they had explained this as they state, why would I refused a repair at that time?? As I mentioned, it has been my understanding from the start that this item would be replaced and I expect they honor replacing same.

Maybe they've confused me with another project because when the check was picked up on May 26, 2018 we talked about the power vent (which is not working). Originally, my intentions were to replace it with a new one, but I was told it was better to replace it with 3 square turbines. They also said they would match it with the roof color. I agreed to this because they said it would be included with the roof replacement at no additional cost to me. This conversation can be verified with Mr. St. Pierre because, if he recalls, he had to call someone to double check if turbines would work on my roof and they confirmed this to him.

Also, if they complete 15-20 installments per month, why has my roof not been part of those installs after all it has been more than the 90 days. Or, given me a estimate date prior to now when they call after a rain checking for leaks? Instead, all we get is... sorry, we don't know when we can get to you.

Thanks to Revdex.com various requests to their business, on May 17, 2019, I did receive a voice message that roof will be replaced no later than end of this or by next week as well as they stated above depending on the weather and that the exact date will be given no later than Tuesday, May 21, 2019.

So it sounds like roof may be installed, we'll have to wait and see. But I would also like to know when leaks will be repaired as Holly said and if they are making this right by replacing the skylight at the same time as the roof versus repair.
