J o n with greentec was a horrible salesmen when I had to deal with him over the phone, that was the first thing, talking with him felt like I woke him from his deep sleep.
When I purchased the battery and had them ship it to a shop near me. it took longer then expected and when I did receive it, the battery pack, plastic, and pallet it was on was all covered with fresh green commercial grade paint, the body of the battery pack had lots of damage, hair in air vents, and had a very strong rotten egg smell to it. I brought this concern up to the Tec at the shop I picked the battery up from and he said its normal to just take it, that I had 3 years warranty anyway, I asked if he could check the voltage on the battery before I took it and the Tec told me he had no power in his warehouse to go and grab his multi-meter to test the voltage on the battery. I just took it because I could tell he didn't want to be professional and help me, which I shouldn't ask for help anyway. I drove off replaced the battery and right away the strong acid smell got even stronger that we couldn't drive without the windows down or face mask without it burning our eyes and throat. I drove it til the next day hoping it wold go away and never did. I took it back and told them I didn't want it because of the condition and awful treatment, I knew if I kept it and had trouble with it 1 week later they would not be professional enough to handle it correctly. I had to fight for the full amount back and filed a dispute with my bank and after 2 weeks of dealing with them I got my money back. I purchased from best hybrid b a t t e r I e s. They were professional. I do not recommend these people

Greentec totally relieved my stress after a ~$2,700 quote from the Toyota dealer for my 2005 Prius hybrid battery replacement. Before I called, I was trying to figure out how to replace the hybrid battery myself by watching Youtube videos and reading all of the blogs. When I called Greentec, I learned that for the same price as shipping the battery to and from my house (give or take), I could have them come to my house (5 hours away) to install it and have the labor warranted! Easy decision. The technician showed up at my house on time and in under an hour I was out on a test drive. John and Bruce were nothing but professional. They really are hybrid experts. I will definitely call them again if I have any trouble with my hybrid system.

I recently purchased a reconditioned hybrid battery for my Honda. The staff of Greentec Auto was polite and knowledgeable. They arranged to have the work done in a timely manner. I am pleased with their service and would recommend them to others., Francis D.

What a fantastic service... so friendly, informative and reasonably priced! They even came to our home (Portland, OR)to do the work (for a very reasonable extra charge). For our 2007 Prius, they ran diagnostics, swapped out the battery, re-ran diagnostics and took it for a test-drive. They even checked the oil and topped off the coolant fluid for the inverter... all in less than 1.5 hours. I'm definitely going to spread the word on this company.

2005 Honda Accord was failing smog due to HV battery failure. Greentec was very professional and courteous. They explained everything to me, and replaced battery in about an hour. Their price was lower than three other companies that I contacted. I went to the location in San Dimas, California.

I purchased the 4 year warranty with home installation for our 267K Prius. Just had it done today, easier than taking my car for an oil change. Michaela, Patrick and Chris were all very personable and easy to deal with. Half the cost quoted by the local Toyota dealer and they also beat the local mechanic by $600 plus they gave me 3 more years on the warranty. Hoping to get another 267K on this battery.

Greentec provides a great value. My drive out cost was about half of what the Toyota dealership was going to charge for a new battery. The upfront discussions with your home office were easy, and Ron's installation was quick and efficient at your shop in Houston. The 48 month warranty was more than I would have received at the dealership. Having the mobile installation was a great option too. Thanks!

My 2005 Prius battery died at 155,000 miles. Greentec came out the next day and replaced the battery right in front of my house in less than an hour! Less than half the price of a new battery and it comes with a warranty and complete replacement within a year if it has an issue. Really like that they refurbish the old batteries and sell them to someone else. Great for our planet! Great for our pocketbooks! Highly recommend!

Ordered my new battery from Silvia for my Honda Accord and had it installed by Bruce in 3 days. Bruce (my tech) was great, he contacted me before, during and after installation to make sure my battery was operating as it should. Bruce even made sure I knew what directions on what would happen for the next several days/weeks so I don’t panic and call to complain that my battery doesn’t work as it should. Finally, just as Bruce said my battery works wonders and gas mileage improved as Bruce said it would. I would highly recommend GreenTecAuto for your next battery. Quick dependable service.

I have a 2006 Prius with 250000 miles on it. Problems have been minor. The battery pack recently failed. After an extensive search I found GREENTEC AUTO for battery pack replacement. I'm sure glad I found them. Their location was about a 45 minute drive and it was well worth the trip.
The HYBRID BATTERY SPECIALIST (CHRIS S) who did the replacement did so in a very professional manner. He permitted me to observe the replacement and I was very impressed with his dexterity and speed removing the old battery and careful replacement of a new one.
As a retired US Naval Officer (qualified in Submarines and Aviation) I am well aware of quality characteristics in an individual and would rate CHRIS S as EXEMPLARY.

To be in Vegas and your Hybrid battery goes bad is crazy.. to be in Sandy Valley it is horrible. (A tow to town is about $178!) Green tec came to me and had my vehicle on the road in less than an hour!! When he turned it on it positively purred..as only a Hybrid can. No fuss.. totally professional and I couldn’t be happier. Even checked the other engine to make sure all was good there. Amazing service.
