I took my 05 *** Civic Hybrid for repair code P1600 and P1637 issue with the IMA light coming on. They tried everything to fix and couldn't fix it. So they left the car sitting for 6 months without calling me. They said they tried to call me but I never received a call or any messages from them showing them my cellphone log. To top it all off they lost my original battery to my car and they gave me a no voltage battery a dead battery. My original one I spent 1 week refurbishing each cells to manufacture specifications which totold over $700 in labor. I just want my original battery back that I came in with the car. I do Not want to buy a battery from them. I have picture evidence of my work and of my orignal battery part number and serial number.

Greentec auto took great care of me! This was my first visit and they were able to book me a appointment on short notice, got my new 2005 Civic hybrid battery installed in less than 45 minutes and 5 minutes later I was out the door. The process was quick and easy and the associate was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

The traction battery went bad in my 11 year old Prius with 166,000 miles. I saw that there was a branch in Livingston NJ. They had the battery I needed and I could pick it up the next day as I was installing it myself. Brandon was super helpful and was able to troubleshoot over the phone when I ran into an issue. Everyone I spoke with had excellent customer service and went above and beyond. Plus the new battery pack was cheaper than OEM and had better batteries as well!

I ordered a hybrid battery online for our 2003 Civic, with plans to have it installed at their Charlotte location. I received a call from Denis within an hour to schedule an appointment. I made the 3 hour drive to Charlotte, and had it installed today. Denis made it a great experience. He was very professional, and had me in and out in less than an hour. The car ran great on my drive home, and NO BATTERY CODES! I had the car inspected, and can now pick up new license tags. The stress has been lifted. I would highly recommend their service to anyone with hybrid battery problems.

Just want to Share my Experience with Green tech Auto, My 2005 Prius was suddenly Poped up with Red Exclamation in the Dash, at 119,000 miles.I worried a lot, As like everyone,I too loved my car very much. I happened to Visit the Greentec Website through my friend. when I called them, Mr.Brad took the call and politely responded all my queries and suggested me with multiple options with the warranty period. The way which he explained was awesome!!!. so I decided to go with 18 months warranty Battery. He said tomorrow the technician will come and install the battery at my place. The mobile technician (Vlad) was very nice, he replaces the battery within 35 minutes.he drives from Seattle to Portland to replace my Hybrid battery. After he left suddenly again Red Exclamation POP up and the car doesn't go with Ready Mode. was literally worried a lot and that too it was on Friday evening.

The Service technician- Vlad Assured me that he will replace with Another Battery on Monday. He was a very good guy,as prompted he came on Monday (4/16) on time and replaced. that was awesome. My car is back to normal. Thank you Vlad,Brad and Green tech Auto Once again !!!!. Keep it up....

Like many of you searching for a hybrid battery replacement, I found myself stranded at a moment's notice when my Prius lost the power to drive faster than 30 MPH. I panicked. Not knowing exactly what the issue was a lingering feeling told me it was the hybrid battery. I was towed home that evening and begun my search for the code P0A80 retrieved from my OBD-II reader. “Replace Hybrid Battery Pack” was the result of that. I started looking for a reputable shop on the internet to solve my problem. After some research I found Greentec Auto to offer the best price, service, and warranty. I quickly started a chat with John on their website. He answered all my questions regarding my options and processed my order. He told me Cindy, the schedule coordinator, will call me to set up an appointment. Sure enough 15 minutes later I received the call. Cindy was able to schedule me for the following day. The following morning I called AAA to schedule a tow to the shop. Apparently AAA does not schedule towes so I had to call again later in the day closer to my appointment. An hour before my appointment, ample time to get to the shop, I called AAA again. This time they told me that they were busy and didn't have someone available in the area and thus had to wait an hour until the next available tow truck. I was heated, I called Cindy and warned her of the late arrival. She called the shop and asked if they would still be willing to take me. Fortunately they did and once we arrived with the Prius, I was greeted by Chris who started to diagnose my car right away. Chris was professional and answered all my questions regarding the diagnostics and battery replacement. He told me it would take about 45 minutes and offered to wait there or suggested nearby places. I decided to wait there which worked out to my benefit as it only took about 30 minutes. After that he informed me of the 18 month warranty and assured me if any issues arise due to the hybrid battery to call.

Rest assured that my family will recommend Greentec Auto to anyone who owns any kind of hybrid or electric automobile, or anyone who expresses interest in electric cars.
We purchased a used Prius with a certain amount of trepidation because we had heard about battery failure and about the high cost of battery replacement.
After a few years, when the dash warning light registered battery failure we learned a few things about hybrid cars.
Happily, the failing battery did not leave us stranded at the side of the road. The failure of one or more cells did not mean the car would not run at all. Hooray.
Then we took it to the Toyota dealer and we somewhat taken aback by the cost of a battery replacement, which was more than the trade-in value of the vehicle.
So I went online to seek alternative solutions.
The prices for reconditioned batteries at Greentec Auto were about a third of the cost of a brand new one. So I decided to fill out the order form and get a battery shipped to Lansing, MI. I figured I would have time to arrange the installation while awaiting the battery’s delivery; or perhaps we would follow one of the You Tube videos and do it ourselves.
I encountered a small problem understanding the best way to handle the freight (another story not necessary here) so I decided to call the 800 number.
Unlike some companies who are heavily oriented toward online sales, the lady at Greentec sounded like she was glad I called. She confirmed that I had the correct model and price and when I mentioned shipping she brought up a very important piece of information that I had somehow missed on the Internet. Greentec service people will come out to your home or place of business and swap out the battery for you for a very reasonable charge. AND, they bring the battery with them and take the trade-in away when they’re finished so there is no need for a “core charge.”
We were very pleased. Everything went according to plan except that there was a problem some 13 or 14 months later. The doggone dash warning light lit up again.
We contacted you (Greentec) and, once again. A friendly professional technician drove out (in a Prius, by the way) with a replacement battery and installed it.
Unlike a pro-rated warranty which is the norm for regular auto batteries, this one was replaced with a newly reconditioned battery at no expense to us. Of course, the new battery only has about four months left on it – to carry us through the original warranty period of 18 months. But we have happy expectations. And when a new battery is called for, we know a great place to get a replacement.

My 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid has over 183,000 miles on it, so I knew someday I would need a new battery. Last week it happened and the IMA light went on. Although the car drove just fine, I didn't want to take any chances at losing power, so I called locally and no one did the work and referred me to the dealer, which is an hour and a half away. The dealer wanted $3000 for a new battery plus installation. That's when I happened on Greentecauto and they are a minor miracle. Robert, the tech, just left and I now have a battery with a 12 month warranty, which was installed in my driveway for $1350; that includes the installation and drive time. Robert, Sara, and Silvia should be teaching customer service skills to any and all businesses. Pick any positive adjective and it would apply to them. I called my local shop and they were very happy to hear about Greentecauto and such a fantastic service. I live in Western North Carolina and to have someone come to my house to fix a major car issue at such a great price is unbelievable.

from initial call to inquire , thru scheduling, installation and testing - everyone was courteous, thorough and knowledgeable
extending the life of my 2009 Honda with better gas mileage and better motor assist... runs like it did when new !!

I took my '04 HCH1 (306K miles/5-spd) to Greentecs Las Vegas location, to have the dreaded IMA light diagnosed and the hybrid battery most likely replaced. Battery was indeed found faulty and in need of replacement. Not even half-an-hour later I was in possession of a new IMA battery with 36-month warranty at a fraction of dealers quote ($1700 v. $4500). Roman (CA location) and Pavel (LV location) are both wonderful individuals to deal with.
