Through my [redacted] Home Warranty program, I recently had several plumbing issues. They notified their vendor here Greenway Home Services and they sent out their plumbing technician, Clint. Do not use Greenway home services. They worked on my toilet. They replaced the filler value. To replace this you have to remove the supply line pipe to the back of the toilet. . Two days later I came home to a flooded downstairs with two rooms of ruined carpet. They came out WITHOUT a manager and fixed the pipe. Manager came out AFTER it was fixed looked at the supply pipe and said it was not their fault, and my home owners insurance adjuster that it was their error was a “A rd” (his words not mine) He said the Supply pipe was just old and needed replacing. It was not their “job” to notice this when they had it in their very hands just two days prior. Sigh…. Come to find out that "old pipe" was actually installed by Greenway themselves just barely over two years prior when we hired them for a $3,000 job. So if it wasn't their fault for directly working on it just two days prior, it was their fault for installing a sub-par part just two years prior. Are the replacement parts they are using not built to hold up to more than two years of normal use? So either way it is their fault that my home had $5,000 worth of damage they are refusing to take responsibility for. Beware! I will say the tech that came out to our home was nice and polite. Repair of my [redacted] washerI have a home owner warranty contract with AHS. Greenway was contacted by AHS to service my appliance. The appliance is a [redacted] washer. The washer had stop spinning the water out. The tech came out on Nov.8,2014. The tech stated the washer needed a transmission. The tech stated part would be back in 3-5 days. It's been 10 days didn't hear from tech called to find out the problem. Talked with parts manger name Rob stated tech would be out next day. Tech arrived next day replaced transmission. Washer still not working tech stated the washer needed clutch or brake would be another 3-5 days for part to arrive. The tech stated the transmission the transmission had been came in but the parts manager wouldn't send him to my house. Call back 7 days later the brake/clutch was in tech replaced the clutch/brakemy husband paid the tech $100.00 dollar co pay thinking the washer was repaired. The washer is still not repaired. I have been calling Greenway every day. Some one called my husband on Saturday Jan. 10,2015 stating they were sending a new tech out. Today is Monday haven't seen a tech yet.Desired SettlementI want Greenway to complete the job they have been paid to do. Please complete before next year.Live up to their standard

I have used Greenway Home Services for the past 15 years and they have always been great to work with. Every technician who has come to my home for either a repair request or annual maintenance inspection has been professional, courteous and friendly. They have always gone above my expectations. I will never hesitate to recommend them to others. My most recent experience for annual maintenance was handled by Randy P and he definitely went above and beyond, even replacing the battery in my carbon monoxide detector and fully explaining what he performed and why. Greenway is not repairing the issue with my HVAC causing damage to my home.Greenway was sent to my home twice already to resolve an issue with my HVAC units in my home. Greenway claims to have repaired the issue by clearing a clog in the drain pipe for the unit drain pan as well as added freon to get the units to cool. They were called out again for the same issue and claimed that they again resolved. The issue is still occurring and has now overflowed water onto my ceiling causing damage.Desired SettlementRepair the issue with the HVAC units permanently and pay to have the damage caused by the failure to repair.Business Response We have determined we were not negligent in this repair, after doing additional research and speaking with the HVAC manager and the technicians involved in this repair. On our initial visit to the house, the 2 units were frozen and we were unable to make any type of diagnosis or repair. Upon our 2nd visit, we notified the occupant that they had water standing in both safety pans, at which time, we offered the customer an upgrade option of installing a "float switch" in each pan, which would prevent water flowing out of the pans, by shutting off the unit once the water level reached a certain point, in turn, preventing any water damage to home. Our technician had to returned the following day to remove standing water from safety pans. We were then called out to the home again, 8 days later stating the a/c unit was leaking water, which had been previously informed to the occupant. At no time during any of these visits, were we ever told of ceiling damage. We were only notified of the damage once the Revdex.com claim had been filed. We do not feel we were negligent at any time during our repair/visits, since we had notified the occupant previously of standing water and made the offer of a float switch to prevent such damage from occurring.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Greenway is responsible for the damage due to their failure to perform the proper corrective steps over multiple visits. You should see by my added information that not only did Greenway fail to resolve the issues but attempted to cover a leak with tape instead of repairing.

I scheduled a maintenance check on my home air conditioning system as part of the Greenway Home Services VIP program. This was my "Spring Checkup" for the unit. We also receive a fall checkup on the heating unit at our home through the VIP program. Greenway is easy to work with on scheduling the twice/year checkups. Because I travel on business weekly and my wife is at her job as a school administrator Monday thru Friday, we appreciate the willingness by the company to work with us and have had to call and change our appointment before due to last minute changes, etc.
The technicians we have dealt with from Greenway are always polite, knowledgeable, prompt, and very professional. They know what they are doing and are ready to get started when they arrive. They always do an excellent job of explaining what they find before leaving and we feel comfortable when they leave
that we are in good hands.
