I scheduled a maintenance check on my home air conditioning system as part of the Greenway Home Services VIP program. This was my "Spring Checkup" for the unit. We also receive a fall checkup on the heating unit at our home through the VIP program. Greenway is easy to work with on scheduling the twice/year checkups. Because I travel on business weekly and my wife is at her job as a school administrator Monday thru Friday, we appreciate the willingness by the company to work with us and have had to call and change our appointment before due to last minute changes, etc.
The technicians we have dealt with from Greenway are always polite, knowledgeable, prompt, and very professional. They know what they are doing and are ready to get started when they arrive. They always do an excellent job of explaining what they find before leaving and we feel comfortable when they leave
that we are in good hands.

On Sunday morning around 6:30 a.m., Dec. 6, 2015 (which happened to be my 70th birthday), I discovered my furnace was not heating. I have American Home Shield and called them. They assigned the service call to Greenway. I requested an emergency call as I had been sick. At 8:30, I called Greenway, explained the matter to them and within a few minutes was told that someone would be at my home between noon and 5 p.m. Around 11 a.m., I received a call from Preston R[redacted] with Greenway advising he was on his way and would be at my house in 20 minutes. It only took him a few minutes to discover the problem was the furnace ignitor, which he promptly replaced. By 11:40, my heating was running and Preston was leaving. I thanked him for coming out on Sunday, for being so prompt and for being able to get my furnace up and running. He was very professional, kind and in my eyes, did a great job. I called Greenway on Tuesday to thank them for getting someone out on Sunday. The lady with whom I talked was so very nice and thanked me for calling.","pos-92

The Greenway Technician called ahead to say he was on is way. He arrived about 15 minutes later, called again and said he was the door. He introduced himself ; told why he was here. I showed him where every thing was located. I watched what he was doing and he displayed he knew what he was doing. we exchanged questions. I asked about long term filter. I was getting a lot of dust settling in the rooms on the west side of the house and that I shown him the dust on the furniture when he goes down stairs. He went about checking everything out in a professional manner. I thought he was very thorough . I guess we both forgot to bring up the dust question again. I'll need to get an answer to that; the filter looked pretty clean, the furniture was very dusty. ???

He answered all guestions about maintenance, as well as future needs. He was very courteous and assured me he would provide any additional assistance if needed. Memphis' Greenway Home Services has always been quick to respond to any repair issue we've had and we've had a range of different issues. On the other hand, dealing with our home insurance company as the last 15 years have worn on has been increasingly expensive, limiting and impossible to expect service or quality parts. The one bright spot in having to swallow the bitter pill the home insurance company delivers has been a conscientious Greenway Customer Service Representative, Ms. F[redacted]. She alone took the initiative to keep us informed, educate us on the process, explained our options, and got the managers and owner of Greenway involved as six months of foot dragging went on with the home insurance company over a washing machine repair!
