Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me I was initially concerned with the carelessness of how my paperwork was handled The wrong first name was entered on the invoice and the appearance of back dating the 'Date of Transaction' on the Notice of Cancellation was unsettling This was my primary motivation for cancelling the work order In addition, I subsequently felt that the price for the work was too high.MrS [redacted] did not hand deliver the refund check himself on the date promised but sent a substitute person to deliver the check the following day This person called me on June 1, 2016, indicating that she left the refund check in my mailbox because I was not home This was not true; I had been home the entire day waiting While I had the lady on the phone I checked my mailbox; no check was inside I asked the lady to immediately retrieve my check from whatever mailbox she placed it in as it was not at my address She finally got to the right address and I received the check in hand Regards, [redacted]

The [redacted] family has been contacted by GUHSThe customer had a billing dispute that has been amenably handledTo date, the customer has paid their total contract off

[redacted] [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: There is no truth in the answer to my complaint I will be happy to supply copies of all written documents between myself and this company Unfortunately, your software does not allow uploads of more than one document per complaintI have received nothing in writing from this company since I signed the contract and have received no such verbal offer However, [redacted] owner and representative, has called me repeatedly asking for grace He stated on the day of my initial complaint to Revdex.com, that the check would go out on "Friday" He repeated the same this past Monday, 11/06/ He seems to be well practiced in his deceit and has not demonstrated any honesty or honor in this transaction As you will see, according to the "conract" I cancelled within the time allotted, per the agreement The notice was sent via certified mail and signed for on September 18, [redacted] and Grellis Construction have no legal right to my deposit since no work was performed and was not due to start until November 10, In my opinion, this is an attempt to cheat me and delay action against this company [redacted] ***

[redacted] was fine with the job but didn't want to pay the balance because we didn't use a coarse sander (we used a liquid sander)She got upset because when we were done with the job, we asked that she pay the balanceWe cleaned up the job on the way out** [redacted] never contacted us about coming out to "fix" whatever issues she was referring toWe will be happy, upon request to come out and rectify whatever issues she is having a problem with and would like our final pay upon a 3rd party inspection [redacted] is free to call the office at anytime to request service and we will handle any issues she has expeditiouslyThats our policy

[redacted] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] I just wanted you let you know that as of today October 28th, I have had no further contact with Ground Up Solutions and they have not returned the funds as promised [redacted] Regards, [redacted]

** *** was sold a concrete overpour in her garageAfter the work was completed, Ground Up Home Solutions was having a difficult time collecting on the jobThe homeowner was under the belief that a concrete overpour would change the way she felt about her garageShe didn't like the way the
concrete looked even though it was done properly to specBecause, we did the job properly, she finished paying the total contract amountShe communicated her feelings to a former Ground Up Home Solutions employee and got him to paint the garage on the sideWe were hired to pour concrete not paint per the contractBy the way, how does a paint job stop a door from opening and closing anywayHowever, to help ease matters, we will award *** *** 10% off her next purchase

I am rejecting this response because: At the beginning the company did respond at times, most complaints was resolved. The two times his company came out for the kitchen floor, these problems wasn't resolvedOther than the kitchen floor and the other little things that wasn't fixed. I'm very happy with my new kitchenI called and left messages for MrS*** to call me personally himself to resolves some of my concerns, he would never return my callAfter myself calling his company several of times his office did send someone from his company to take pictures of the kitchen floor, but wouldn't return to do the repairs I called them back to see when they was coming back out they would give me a date and time when they could come back out to do the repairs. When it was time for them to come out and do the repairs on the kitchen floor they wouldn't show up, no phone cancellation or nothingThis has been going on for along timeI ever seek help from prepaid legal counsel for advice only, Mrs*** never respond back to them at allMy prepaid legal counsel sent MrS*** two letters explaining my complaints and the break down of the funds he owes meThe funds that is due to me is the money MrS*** agreed to paid me back, on purchases items for the kitchen with receipts and early interests paid back to me from the kitchen loan while his company was remodeling my kitchenAlso some of the money that was owed to me is from a kitchen chandelier that was taken from my home without my permission, in which his own contractor admitted takenIf he doesn't want to pay me for the kitchen chandelier, I would except the chandelier back in the same condition when it was taken from my home. MrS*** forgot that he sold me a life time warranty on my kitchenI'm willing to work with MrS***, concerning my complaints in repairs and negotiate about the money that are due to meI have pictures and documentation for proof in everything I'm claimingI also willing to let the T.V media come to my home and see my kitchen floor for them self If MrS***, can't resolves these problems through Revdex.com or come to some kind of agreement to satisfied me, I have no choice but to take him to court. I am rejecting this response because: greg and ground up home solutions is telling a liePlease ask greg and ground up to forward to the Revdex.com any email with an attachment showing where they sent me any plans for my property, even preliminary for me to review and if they filed the plans with the District of Columbia permitting office (DCRA) All the details are online at the DCRA site, please go to *** and search ***You will see that the site does not have any record of gregs/ground up (attached as well)The only thing ground up did was file for an alteration permit but they did not even begin demolition on my property.Furthermore DCRA (DC building permits office) has no problem with my project and I have emails from the processor (*** ***) at the permitting office saying that everything is fine the way I wanted to move forwardgreg/ground up is only indicating that they are incapable of completing my project and had no intention to do so. greg has been very difficult to reach, I could not reach him by phone, email and text for weeks I had a long conversation Aug, with greg after not being able to reach him for weeksWe said we would respect each other and communicate twice a week by email and he would move faster. The only time when they were quick to respond was when they wanted to get money from me as shown in attached (Aug-06-2015, note the response within hours), his secretary anisha white was very difficult to reach as well and came up with all sorts of excuses to not communicate with me as noted in the following,"Subject: UpdateFrom: "Greg S***" Date: Wed, September 23, 2:pmTo: contact@***.comPriority: NormalStatus: answeredHello ***,We are going out o site with a new architect on Friday, they had some questions that we need to resolveWe are no longer working with the architect due to the fact it did not work with your wishesPlus he was to slow, we found a better architect and Greg said to let you know that he would contact you on Friday, and have something to you.I apologize I dropped my phone in water and I won't have another till tomorrow, so if you have been trying to reach me that way I'm sorry."I do not understand why she could not email me back if her phone was damagedI sent an email after giving her a call, the only reason she responded was because of the email I sent (attached: email email-trial-sept-23-2015-A). gregs/ground up has had an enormous amount of time to start my project (since April 30, when we signed an agreement) to start my projectI have waited months because of so many excuses they gave, like his crew not being ready and him being out of town or greg just not answering calls for weeks which I have record of my attempts to reach himI tried all I could to get them to start and to being waiting since April 30, is being very patient.Ground up statement contradicts their emailsHow could they be looking for a new architect to begin the work as noted in the email attached dated September 23, and and then send me an invoice yesterday dated 07/31/2015 (which is the first I am seeing of this and they only sent it because I filed a Revdex.com complaint against them)I do not owe ground up anything but greg and ground up owes me my deposit of $7,The original architectural plans I wanted them to finish and to address DCRA requests did not cost $7,so this is my deposit as part of $68,to get my permits and build my addition.Regards,

Good Morning,*** *** hired us to at first work on his drawings and get them permittedThe drawings he had would not pass DCRA review and he was given the option to wait on an appeal hearing *** *** chose to have his drawings redone and worked on in September, these types
of modifications take time and he was very impatient The only reason he chose to cancel his contract was because we would not cut corners regarding getting his permit *** *** actually owes us money, and it is very convent that as soon as we sent him this invoice he makes a complaint Invoice was sent to him at 8:45am.Please see attached

Ground uP home solutions has recently had contact with ** *** *** and have insured her that we will go to great lengths to to make all of our customers satisfiedWe are now amenable handling this situation

We are amicable with the customer and the project is finished, and they are happyWe will offer them 10% off their next job with us

RE:  [redacted]:  [redacted] signed a contract with Ground Up Home Solutions for a bathroom renovation.  The mission at Ground Up Home Solutions is to customize and perfect homes offering competitive service and quality in work executed.  When approaching the project of Mr....

[redacted]’s bathroom renovation consideration to Mr. [redacted]’s expectations were used to set the details of the project up until completion.  The owner, Mr. Gregory S[redacted] fell severely ill for a number of weeks during the time frame of the [redacted] project.  Therefore communication may have become scarce between Mr. [redacted] and Mr. S[redacted].  The barrier of trust may have been altered as a result in the shift of communication changing from Mr. S[redacted] being the primary point of contact to other staff members in Mr. S[redacted]’ absence. The objective at Ground Up Home Solutions is to exceed the customer’s expectations as well as protect the longevity of their home.  Also the opinion of the customers is what helps to make Ground Up successful as well as to promote growth.  Mr. [redacted]’s complaint was well noted and archived so that this type of miscommunication will never happen again.  In response to Mr. [redacted]’s request for a refund, Ground Up finds that there is no probable cause to issue a refund; and we acknowledge that everything was done to address the concerns and needs of the customer during each stage of the project.  Moving forward it is the hope that if Mr. [redacted] ever needed anything else done to maintain or improve his home that he would feel comfortable to call on the services of Ground Up Home Solutions , whatever can be done to expedite this matter will be considered. As a result of Mr. [redacted] breaking his contract with Ground Up Home Solutions a remaining balance of $2,000.00  is still past due for labor and materials issued prior to the cancellation date.

The [redacted] family has been contacted by GUHS. The customer had a billing dispute that has been amenably handled. To date, the customer has paid their total contract off.
