Lack of communication
The worst experience ever. The service department is just bad. There is no communication between the parts department or the service department. I was told to come in today to get my car service and was treated like complete s[]censored. I will never buy a car from this place if this is how they treat their customers.

More specifically, brake lights were OUT! Emergency brake didn't work! Check engine light was onMr [redacted] I find it hard to believe that this truck was "serviced" prior to taking our $GrandFurthermore, we dropped the vehicle on a Monday and called every day on a status with NO RESPONSEOn Thursday of that same week I physically came to the dealership to rant! For the first time I spoke with [redacted] and he said that they were still working on it and would not fix the broken mirror(he said we could just push it in with our hands to get it to work)I never got an explanation of why it was taking so longOur belief is that your hope was we wouldn't push to fix the mirrorOh they said the hubs were ceased and couldn't be fixedUmm, you should know that if they are frozen they need to be replaced...a $partLater that day [redacted] called, he said he took a used mirror off another truck and said, "do me a favor and write a good review." Are you kidding me? We never ever spoke with anyone from serviceYou mention the name ***, we never spoke to ***With all this said, let me be clearYou never serviced this truck before selling it to usIt is unethical, unfair and downright dirty business [redacted] is trying to pull a fast one...cutting corners and cheating it's customers that don't know any betterAs a matter of fact, you mention the mileage on the vehicleAs any good business owner should know, selling a new car or used car your standards should be sameIf the car has 123,or 10,Moreover, there was a $documentation fee added to the price, which was never disclosed nor explainedYou offer to "sit" down with usNo thank you Mr [redacted] Regards, [redacted]

First of all, I am requesting the $refund for my oil/filter change ("the works"). If you look in your system, I scheduled an oil/filter change only, not the works. Your service repinformed me that "oh, you usually get "The Works", so we'll put you in for that. He was certainly pushy (which they usually are). He just assumed it was okay to put it in "The Works". Furthermore, there is usually a rebate of $off "The Works" which is not offered now. So I had paid $for a service that I did not request, I only wanted an oil/filter change. Also, my time, inconvenience and aggravation for going through this is due a full refund. As information, I did not discuss a rock hitting my windshield weeks earlier with your service rep. When I saw the damage to my windshield, I went back in to talk to the guy that initially waited on me and he was waiting on another customer. The other guy who was probably the service manager came outside with me after I explained what just happened. I told him when I brought my vehicle in, the windshield was not damaged. The only thing I had on the windshield on the driver's side was a "starburst" which was caused by a rock two years ago, not weeks earlier. The windshield was not severely cracked when I brought the vehicle in for service. The extensive damage caused by your dealership to the vehicle was inches away from the starburst. This has nothing to do with the starburst. It appears something was dropped on my windshield while it was being serviced. If you look back on your cameras/video from that day (8:a.m.- 10:a.m. ), you will see whatever was dropped on my windshield. My vehicle was in your care when I brought it in. Also, there was no inclement weather (rain, snow, ice, nothing). It was a clear day. I did not bring in my vehicle with a cracked windshield One of your service technicians showed neglect to my vehicle. Common courtesy would have been to tell me when the vehicle was brought back out. Also, the vehicle is always brought back into the service area. This time, it was brought in, backed out by the service rep., driven around the *** dealership and then left near the side showroom entrance. Looks like somebody was hiding something. I just wish your dealership would just own up to this. There is no accountability being taken. This is not the first time I have encountered issues; however, this is definitely the last time I will be bringing my vehicle in for service or having any dealings with you. Also, it would have been courteous if someone advised me that name plates were being changed. This change was done without my knowledge. That is where the unprofessionalism lies. I should not have to put in a claim with my insurance company for damage done by your dealership.

Revdex.com, Mr*** vehicle is our Service Facility being repaired - After the initial repair was made there were other components that needed to be replaced - Not knowing what those components were we needed to make the 1st repair. Additional parts were ordered after the Extended Warranty
company had given us the approval to make those repairs. Unfortunately we have to follow the guidelines by the Warranty company and not just fix what we think may be broken. This process sometimes takes several days to have all additional work approved. *** *** the Service Director at *** *** has been in contact with *** *** updating him with the process and time of completionWe have offered him transportation at no charge while his vehicle is being repaired. Ms. [redacted]I am not sure why you are requesting a $48 refund also I have spoken to my service manager [redacted] and he stated that you and he had a conversation with regards to your windshield.  According to him you told him that the windshield had previously been repaired (not by Grieco Ford) due to a rock chip hitting it weeks earlier.  He also stated to you that when a windshield is repaired there are many cases that the windshield may crack due to that repair.  When a windshield has a chip whether its repairs or not weather, driving or any slight movement may cause that crack to spread.  Please go to  [redacted]    OR    "[redacted]  to read how this may happen in more detail. As far as the plate frames  that were changed "Metro" and "Grieco" are the same company but we have changed our name therefor we are changing all customer plate frames with the new name change. I am not sure why this was an issue because we put "Metro" on your car when it was sold to you and "Metro" is Not the name of our company anymore Grieco Ford took proper care of your vehicle while it was in our service department and I am not sure why you state we are "unprofessional, negligence, ignorance, incompetent, rude etc.." Essentially, a doc fee covers the cost of all the dealership's back-office employees, from the people who handle the money to the employees who deal with the title, registration and the DMV.The only problem: Shouldn't the purchase price cover those costs? After all, if a dealership makes a profit on each car sold, shouldn't some of that profit go to paying each employee? To many consumers, the idea of an extra charge like this seems fraudulent and unreasonable.But is it fraudulent? In most cases, the answer is no. Many U.S. states don't regulate the amount of money that a dealer can charge for a doc fee, though some states do. If you're in a state that doesn't regulate the fees, prepare for the dealer to hit you with a bill of several hundred dollars, even after you've negotiated the purchase price to a point you've mutually agreed on. (autotrader.com) Service prior to selling? Fact: This vehicle was serviced prior to your purchase with other repairs completed in addition to the oil change - The Air filter was replaced, Wiper Blades were replaced, New Battery was replaced, R/F U-Joint and seal replaced.  This vehicle was driven 127 miles from when the above service was completed on 8/29/16.  It is possible that the brake light, e-brake, and check engine light came on within the 127 mile difference. You state "vehicle wasn't even looked at" ? I provided you documentation that the vehicle was looked at and repairs were made again on 8/29/16 RO# 238248 I am sorry that its hard for you to believe that this is the first that I am hearing about this but my company sells over 15,000 retail cars per year and I am not involved in every transaction.  Please let me know "how I can make it right" ?
