MrRobert [redacted] I'm very sorry that you felt our company intentionally tried to deceive you I can assure you that this was not the case Griffin's Hub is very proud of our reputation and status with the Revdex.com Yes, you did need to call the phone number to verify and they instructed you to come into the event location, our dealership to check the number with the prize board The odds of winning each prize were visible on the mail piece with the verifiable retail values of each prize In the disclaimer, it was also stated that you need to bring in your invitation to the event location to compare your conformation code to prize board to determine your prize Again, I am truly sorry We did not mean to cause you any confusion I have passed this information along to our advertising people If we ever send out another mail piece, we will definitely try to be more clear and specific Thank you, Gary G [redacted]

I am writing in response to a customer complaint sent to our general manager [redacted] [redacted] has complained stating we misdiagnosed her vehicleI attached a copy of the repair order from that visit (RO# 230564) the check engine light was on with a code P0455-Evap leak we smoke tested the vehicle and found no leaks along with pressure testing the evap system and at that time it was holding pressure Since we could not verify a leak we stated that it could be a possibility the gas cap was leakingSince that visit [redacted] brought her vehicle in twice without complaining of a check engine lightSee RO#'S & On 7/14/she came into my office stating she had a different shop give her a free gas cap and her light came back onI informed her since it has been over months she would need to authorize diagnosis for us to look at itThe check engine light can come on for many reasons and we don't even know if it has the same code as last visitAlso since a shop gave her a gas cap they had laying around there shop we don't know it is even the right part for her vehicle [redacted] did not accept that I will not fix her vehicle free of charge and has contacted youI reviewed this with our fixed ops director and we have decided not to refund her $diagnosis feeThanks, [redacted] ***Griffin's Hub Service Manager###-###-####

First of all, I do want to apologize to Ms [redacted] if she felt the mailer was deceiving We did send out a large amount of mail and to date this was the only complaint that we have received There was no purchase necessary and everyone who came into the dealership did win something The different prizes and the odds of winning are in the correct size and font that was mandated to us It clearly states the "verifiable retail value and odds of winning each prize" The mailer clearly states to call and enter your confirmation code In the disclaimer, it also states to bring the invitation to event location to compare your code to the prize board to determine your prize The prize board was clearly displayed Everyone seemed to understand the process Again, if Ms [redacted] thought we were trying to deceive her, I do apologize , but I can assure her that was not our intention We will continue to work hard to insure that our advertising is clear and straight forward as possibleThank you, [redacted] , General Manager

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below You had every intent to deceive people because every game piece, I learned later, was a “winner” The game pieces were deliberately setup to make it look like I had won a new 60” TV The numerous responses & reviews on Yelp, Facebook & elsewhere clearly demonstrate that a large number of people would agree with me that they also felt deceived The fact that you are now blocking myself & others from commenting/reviewing Griffin’s Hub on Facebook show me that you are embarrassed and/or covering up your actions Your response, while not explicitly saying it, continues to reference the fine print at the bottom of the mailer Fine print isn’t the way to run a legitimate company or promotion It’s a way to deceive people Regards, [redacted] ***

RevDex.com: I have... reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The business did not contact me to bring the vehicle back after I made the complaint. The vehicle was back before the complaint was made but that did not resolve the issues. Please re-open the file Regards, [redacted]

RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Regards, [redacted] Obviously, either the people at Griffin Hub have not read my complaint or I have failed to adequately convey the issue. so let me try again.Several days after I purchased the vehicle from Griffin Hub I decided to replace the REAR drivers side wheel with the spare tire because of the condition difference, all of which I knew when I bought the vehicle. While trying to remove the Rear drivers side wheel I found three (3) of the lug nuts and studs had been crossed threaded and stripped. All six needed to be replaced which I did. There was a new rattle from the rear end of the vehicle, which I discovered was coming from the rear exhaust heat shield which was held onto the vehicle with three (3) bungy cords. Griffin Hub has subsequently replaced that heat shield. Here is the problem. In order to do the inspection on the REAR brakes the REAR wheels have to be removed which at the dealership would mean putting the vehicle on a lift and undoing the lugnuts. Ergo. Either the brakes were inspected by the dealership and they installed the lugnuts incorrectly or the Inspection was not done and the DOT paperwork was improperly completed. If the inspection was complete I find it almost impossible to believe that the Dealership did not see that the heatshield was held on by bungy cords. The vehicle was returned to the dealership after I told them about these issues. The heatshield was replaced but no one addressed my concerns about the brake inspection or the lug nuts and now they propose I take more time out and bring the vehicle back to them again! I would just as soon leave the complaint with BBB open so others can be aware. [redacted]

We sent him our internal RO's that showed the brakes and rotor's were completedWe don't know what else he would like however he could come in anytime and discuss with myself or one of the used car manager's just let us know when he is coming in. *** ***General Manager

The customer has an appointment next Thursday, Jan5th with Ultimate Truck to check her tires to see if they will be covered under warrantyWe will re - visit this after next week Thank you Gary G***

I just spoke with one of our used car managers, ***, and he informed me that he just spoke with the customer *** *** told me that we would be replacing the windshield for the customer This was the first time that I had heard of this problem It should be taken care within
the next few days Thank you, *** ***

To the best ofo our kmowledge, car did not have a salvaged title. When we did background check on Auto Ccheck, car had no branded title. The warranty that the customer purchased requires that they supply maintenace records for every miles or months, whicher comes fisrt. She
was not able to provide necessary documentation. Therefore the warranty company would not cover the repair. We did attempt to try to trade customer out of this vehicle, but was unsuccessful on a few occasios. Thank you, *** ***

*** ***, the new car mgrcalled ms*** to apoligize for not having the caravans here that she had inquired about Our sales person, *** ***, that she spoke to was incorrect in letting her know that the vans were still in stock and availabeHe should have been more careful in
checking on our availabel stock, and offer her an alternative We spoke with our salesperson and told him to be more careful when checking inventory We askes Ms*** if there was anthing else we could do to make this better for her We would sure try to find a vehicle which would work for her We again apoligised for the inconvience of having her come in and not having the vehicle she was looking for She said she didn't know what she wanted to doThank you, *** ***

My manager was sincere when he called Ms*** about seeing what we could do for if she wanted us to There was an honest mistake by our salesperson by not checking our inventory throughly We did explain that if she qualified for all available rebates that would allow her to purchase the vechile at the price advertised She did not want to listen about the rebates, and did not want an apology At this point, what else can we help her with Please let me know if we can Thank you, *** ***
