1- Grizzly agrees to pick up and redeliver the ,machine within a firm and reasonable time frame .(not more than 2  weeks)
2- Grizzly agrees to replace the machine if the issue happens again due to poor machine quality .
3- [redacted] will not be responsible for transportation .

We have no record of any communication from the customer until this current complaint. Had the customer contacted us during his warranty coverage period, we would have been happy to rectify any issues at the time. The customer is now well out of warranty, so we are unable to offer a refund.

They have told you they would stop sending me advertisement emails.  I continue to get them.  Please have them stop, I have no confidence in this company.  [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because this is not a satisfactory outcome.  I want a FULL REFUND and my review to be posted with all the other reviews on the product page.   If Grizzly is going to display reviews on their website for each product,  then this means they have to display ALL of them.  Good, Bad, or Indifferent.   By cherry picking good reviews and not allowing bad ones, it paints a picture about a product that is not true.  Its called deception and I am willing to bet the Washington State Consumer Protection Division would love to hear about this.   If I am wrong and there was an error/glitch on your website that magically removed my review as it could be the same system ("that also doesn't have a record of my calls or emails.."), then this is the review that I want posted on the G0768 Product Page.  Here is a link if you need it.  http://www.grizzly.com/products/8-x-16-Variable-Speed-Lathe/G0768>> 1 Star Review.  I purchased this Grizzly G0768 8"x16" variable speed lathe as I wanted a small machine for when I wanted to make some small parts. BUT I have been extremely dis-satisfied by the quality of the machine. Everything from it coming with the wrong advertised speed settings (1400ish RPM High, 700ish RPM Low), to the gears always coming loose, to it not being able to properly thread, to it never having enough power and bogging down on light passes, to the turret post always being loose, to the hand wheels being either extremely tight or so loose they spin on their own, to the tailstock wobbling when I try to cross drill any kind of material, to the change gears having to be practically pressed on and off the shafts to change feed rates, etc, etc, etc. Every time I have tried to use the machine (10-15 times) there is always something about it that makes it unusable and it annoys me. Basically its just an overpriced boat anchor that will sit in the corner of your shop/garage and collect dust and dirt as it will never work as you hope it will.  So in short,  I do not recommend purchasing this item or buying anything from Grizzly.   I just wish it weighed more so I could scrap it. End of ReviewSo if you guys could go ahead and post the above review to the website ASAP that would be great.  You can send a Return Authorization # to the email address you have for me on file along with a prepaid shipping label, and a full refund to the credit card I used or you can mail a check.  Your choice.  If you have any questions regarding any of the above, please email me as I want everything in writing from here on out.  Sincerely,[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am reluctant to accept this response because: As you can see in the attached letter FROM the business, the return policy is not what was stated in the latest response.Grizzly can easily rectify this issue by simply stating, in writing, that they do not require the machine being returned be in "unused and in new, resalable condition" as stated in the letter provided with the return label. The letter when sent with the label establishes the standard set for refund under their warranty.Simply, Grizzly should send another label along with a letter reflecting the policy they stated in their most recent response, this would have resolved the issue in the beginning; frankly their reluctance to clarify this question raises an issue of trust on my part.As soon as Grizzly makes good on their warranty, I'll report it on the Social Media they're so concerned about.Sincerely,[redacted]

To clarify, the error was [redacted]'s not Grizzly's. The customer was able to take advantage of the pricing mistake on several orders. When the error was discovered, we re-routed all erroneous shipments back to us. The customer has received a full refund.

The on-line price of $169.00 was a keying error. The actual price is $1795.00. Upon discovery of the error we cancelled all of the erroneous orders, and sent all the customers the following e-mail: 'Subject: Price Error – ST1012 15” Planer – Order CanceledThank you for your recent order for a...

ST1012 15” Planer.   The price for this item was listed as $169.00 in error, the correct price is $1795.00.   Please note that we have canceled your order, and your credit card/payment account will not be charged. We have not charged any customer a different price for this item, nor would we without permission. We are very sorry that this error occurred.

We will contact the customer and apologize for the misinformation she was given by one of our employees, and attempt to find other arrangements that will work for her. The Revdex.com changed the destination e-mails of complaints without telling anyone, so this complaint is quite old.We were able to get the customer's item delivered on a smaller truck, and we refunded his lift gate charge of $34.00 as a courtesy. We have discovered an error in our Christmas catalog that lists the 15 piece bit set as the 35 piece bit set. We will be sending this customer the 35 piece bit set at no charge.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:Please re read the complaintthe hose doesn't stretch to the 20' as stated in your catalog I want to use it at the full length but it will not stay it retracts and pulls off my saw I sent two back because of the problem of the one I opened I understand the return policy you sent me the return label that cost me $ 10.20 per hose to ship them back $ 5.86 more than it cost to ship to me you have a product that does not preform as stated in your catalog and you over charge on return shipping  Please re read the desired settlement nothing less is acceptadle  Sincerely,[redacted]

As we have already indicated to the customer, we are willing to accept a return of this machine for repair or replacement. The customer has not done so, and has indicated that he does not want to re-package the machine to ship it back to us.

The customer is correct, we did send him the wrong item twice. We are having vendor issues with the item, and did not realize they were not yet resolved. I have had someone call the customer to assure him that we will facilitate a return and full refund.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:This company is in the business of selling ammo.  There website lists many items that are not or seldom in inventory.  These items cost .06-.075/ round.  All the rest of the 22lr ammo sells for a whole lot more.  The product in question was listed on Bullets.com website, they control the website.  The item was posted for a good 20 minutes after I purchased my items.  Their email sent to me on 8/23 @ 10:56 states "Please retain this email as your proof of Purchase"!!!  Along with "Thank you for your Bullets.com purchase" !!. They acknowledged twice in writng that I purchased these items.  This company advertizes products at a fixed price and refuses to honor that price.  Customer Service stated I should order another item, but when questioned about price/round they stated they would not honor the price.   This is a simple bait and switch practice.  Also, how many other orders were cancelled on this same day for this product.  As stated previously, that item ([redacted] - AM22 AutoMatch .22lr) was availble on their website for over 20 minutes after I placed my order.  Other items constantly listed on their site - [redacted], 500 bulk, not in stock.  i would also like to know the last time they sold that product, how many orders for that item were also cancelled.This company also refused to respond to my second email and continues to refuse to honor their advertised price.  Real simple, not my fault this company could not manage its inventory, sell me product for the same price as advertised.Sincerely,[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:During my "warranty period" I contacted Grizzly on several occasions by phone and was told I would receive a call back and never did.  Same went on April 18th when I sent them an email.  S I x days later still nothing from them other than "your lathe is out of the warranty period, I will have someone from the technical services department contact you".   Additional I am very disappointed that my review is still not published on their website. It's a honest review  so by it not being there, customers are being decived into thinking it s a high quality product when it's not.  If Grizzly would of left my review then I probably would of not filed a Revdex.com complaint but since it was removed, I decided this must be brought to light.  I want a full refund and my review posted. Period.

Our Warranty as posted on our website:All the items we sell are covered under warranty for one year from the original purchase date, for the original buyer. Other name-brand items may come with different manufacturer warranties. Often our trained technicians are able to trouble-shoot problems with you over the phone. Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because in this scenario, Grizzly IS "the carrier." I can only interact with Grizzly. I am not eligible to interact with [redacted] because I do not have a contract with them. Grizzly does. Therefore Grizzly is representative of any wrongdoing by "the carrier" and should be the one covering the costs incurred--not me.There has been an intangible loss of money through the time, effort, and frustration that the shipping issues caused me. $25 is not enough to cover these losses. Grizzly should remedy the situation by paying the cost of shipping.This is what being a "better business" requires: a business should treat the public in a fair and honest manner. Pushing the costs of mistakes off the business to the consumer does not constitute being eligible to be a "better business" and it is for this reason I reject the response.Sincerely,[redacted]
