I DO NOT TRUST YOUR SERVICE DEPARTMENT in this dealership, I will take my car to another place to see if the work was doneI have not, nor will I open the box, because once I touch it there will be evidence of fingerprints, and now there are none and everything is very dustyI will go to another service center and if they determine the filter was not changed I will sue you in small claims courtwould the dealer like to see the photos and explain how their technician managed to change the engine air filter with our disturbing any of the dust?

I never received any further response from anyone concerning this complaint after the initial filingI do not agree with ***'s account of the transactionThe objective was to increase the price of the vehicle with the lease agreementIf this was not the case why didn't they just sell us the car at the agreed upon priceThe salesman told me they were going to loose money on the sale of the vehicleI believe they were exceedingly creative with their lease numbers and got caughtAdditionally, I did not request compensation in the amount of $It seems like business as usual in the crooked city

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept the response from the business because I did not receive a good vehicle for the money I paidAlso, I dealt with a Spanish sales rep, my English reading/writing skills are poor and I am only able to file this compliant with the help of my sister-in-lawI asked for a bilingual finance rep but when it was time to sign the contract the finance rep did not speak any Spanish and I did not fully understand everythingI also know that I was promised a vehicle in good condition and contrary to Grossinger's response, I was promised a 2-year warrantyI do not believe the vehicle was sold to me in good faith and I believe that the sales rep knew that I was purchasing a lemon and declined to inform me of the real condition of the vehicle before I purchased itAfter discovering that the vehicle wasn't worth what I paid, I went to the company on several occasions, trying to speak to someone about my purchase and one sales rep mentioned that the vehicle I purchased was actually going to auction and should have never been sold to meIt is not fair that they took my money and sold me a vehicle that I can no longer drive after only monthsGrossinger did not care to comment on how their sales rep/finance manager had me sign an additional contract with a different lender and a different interest rate without explaining it to meNot once did they mention I was signing a different contractI want a vehicle that is worth what I'm paying because I deserve that muchI was misled into a bad purchase and I'm sure they would not wish this on themselves or their familyI have to pay four years for a lemon vehicle that I'm unable to driveI did not know that I had any rights in this situation, which is why my complaint is delayed, but I only ask for a fair and just purchaseI have also filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office about your unfair business practices and I will also ask around to find out how many other customers were tricked into purchasing lemon vehicles with unbelievable high interest rates and large cash money downI want what I am owedI only ask to give this vehicle back in return for a vehicle in good condition of equal pricing

In response:
We have offered to the customer a discounted repair estimateTo be clear, cars that are designated to go to the auction are done prior to the car being displayed on the lot, so therefore, a car is destined for the auction without a customer looking at it as they are moved off the lot and put in separate storage for auction transportationIn reviewing the paper work the customer bought the car as isFor the customers benefit at delivery we replaced multiple items at his request in excess $3,which we completed to his satisfactionWe stand committed to give the customer the repairs needed at our costWe are also willing to sit down with the customer to seek a resolution that is mutually agreeable
Thank you

Our goal is not only to grow our business but to maintain our current customers. Our office has processed a check for the service contract refund in the amount of $856.75. We will express mail the check to [redacted].

To Whom It May Concern:Grossinger Autoplex is in response to the above mentioned complaint.  A refund check number [redacted] in the amount of $3245.46 issued on March 7, 2018 was sent to Ms. [redacted] and Mr. [redacted] lienholder [redacted].  A supplemental check in the amount of$654.54 will be...

mailed the week of March 23, 2018 to [redacted].  Both checks will equal the total sum of the warranty premium of $3900.00. Thank you,Sean [redacted]Business ManagerGrossinger Auto Group###-###-####

To Whom it May Concern:Client came in on Saturday 10/28/2017 looking for a specific vehicle, 2014 [redacted] which was advertised for $27885.00, client was an out of state buyer from Indianapolis IN.  After being attended to and viewing the vehicle including a test drive.  Client offered us,...

$24000 which was declined.  We agreed to $27250.00 plus taxes and fees.  We proceeded with the paperwork.  Customer mentioned that he has a pre-approval letter from [redacted] in which he provided to us.  It was not an approval on the particular vehicle he looked and wanted to purchase.  We explained to the client that a backup contract must be done in the case his approval does not finalize for any unforeseen reasons.  He agreed, hence, he provided a signed credit application.  All the paperwork was completed and the client was waiting patiently in the waiting area.  After 20 or so minutes, client approached the front desk and asked to speak with the salesman. Client stressed that his credit score has gone down due to multiple inquires.  We sat the client down explained that a finance manager will come speak with him.  A short time later, a finance manager approached the client, listened to all his concerns and provided all the answers for the second time.  We explained repeatedly that his pre-approval letter was not an actual bank check or a finalized approval on the vehicle he was interested in, therefor, a backup contract with another financial institution must be filled out and in the case his financing does not finalize.  Furthermore, we touched on the fact that the client is looking at a third-party credit monitoring application that is not accurate with credit score. Client asked to give him all his copies including the Drives License copies in which we complied, the client continued being unhappy and proceeded to exit the dealership.  In an attempt to help since it was a long drive back, we informed him that we secured a better rate vs what he was offered and he declined.  Attached are the paperwork including a signed credit application.  Below is the portion the customer signed allowing us to run their credit. Thank you[redacted] General Manager[redacted]

To Whom It May Concern:We are in receipt of the above mentioned complaint. The customer contacted our BDC inquiring about a car. They asked if they could be approved for a loan. They submitted an online credit app. When they arrived they came through the Cadillac showroom to the sales desk....

They were looking at the Enclave, we asked if they needed help. They told us they were here to see Phoenix. We told them she had gone home for the night and we offered our assistance. The car they came in on was sold about a half hour prior. The customer was still in the finance office at the time. Martize our sales manager told them the car was sold and offered to show them some other cars that would fit what they are looking for. Matt [redacted] took them outside to show them cars. After seeing the cars they decided none of them work. I was told she did not like any of the cars and they just walked off. The following day the customer called to express her experience and I called her back. I apologized for her poor experience and explained we don't hold cars they are first come first serve basis.  There was no wrong doing on our part and I expressed we are sorry for her poor experience. The phone call was disconnected. She called back and spoke with a sales manager, Arsany.  He reiterated we do not hold cars and the vehicle was sold and she hung up. Grossinger cannot remove the credit inquiry since the customer submitted the authorization online.  We are truly sorry the customer was dissatisfied with their experience and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused them. Sincerely,Ric [redacted]Sales ManagerGrossinger Autoplex847-674-9000
