Grow Healthy Vending Reviews (38)

Mr. [redacted] is making serious allegations that are damaging to our company. Below are emails from him outlining exactly what we stated in our previous response. I believe this is just one example of who is actually telling the truth in this situation. In 6 years of business with over 4,000 machines placed and over 300 operators we have had 8 complaints and not bad reviews. That is a 99.986% success rate. Mr. [redacted] started asking for a refund almost immediately not because of anything but his financial situation. Mr. [redacted]s defamatory comments have been sent to our Attorneys office for review. We have hundreds and hundreds of great success stories. We offer by far the best equipment and services in our industry and we do so at a lower cost than anyone in our industry. Below are a series of emails with Mr. [redacted] not only explaining his behavior but also discussing how happy he was with the equipment and in fact was referring a friend to the business. We have pages and pages of email communication with Mr. [redacted] along with recorded phone calls of him berating our employees. In addition, in a June 2016 check of his machines they were collectively doing an average of over $1,000 per month. I am not certain how that could be considered bogus. ---------- Forwarded message ----------[redacted] Date: Thu, Mar 3, 2016 at 6:43 PM -0800Subject: Re: Request[redacted]

[redacted]   Reply all|Fri 7/1/2016, 7:46 PMAction Items[redacted], I hope this email finds you well! I wanted to give you some material for you to use in the sale of your machines. I have three machines placed now out of 5 and havehad approximately 2,200 vends since I got up and running and have not had one misvend! This to me is incredible as I was expecting to have some issue. Lastly, a friend of mine who I worked with until he quit a couple of weeks ago is looking at this opportunity. I gave him Will’s number as well as the company website for him to research. He is seeing if you have any operators in Northwest Arkansas as I didn’t know. I did tell him not to look at any other machine as the one you sell is the best that I have seen.Have a good 4th! #3. [redacted]Good morning,I just wanted to let each of you know that I deeply apologize for the way I have been acting. It is inexcusable and the way I acted is not close to who I am as a person. I know that you guys are doing all you can to help me and I feel really bad about what happened yesterday. It will not happen again. I appreciate each of you. Sincerely,[redacted]

It is more than clear that the CEO displays the same deceptive tactics with me and other Grow Operators. He claims there is a deal on machines because he is helping a fellow operator liquidate because of a divorce. Next you wire transfer him the funds. After which, the CEO claims that there is a delay at the manufacturing facility. After confirming with the factory there is no such delay and the order simply is never placed. This is then followed by a request for a refund. The CEO then offers a scheduled refund. Usually, around $5000 every 2 weeks by cheque. After a operator chases the CEO for several months, the operator is told a cheque is sent in the mail. Grow then creates a UPS Tracking number but then never actually ships with UPS. At this point they then claim the cheque is lost in the mail. I am not the only one who has been scammed this way just look at previous Revdex.com complaints of similar fashion. Lastly, the CEO will rescind his offer of refund and claim thmachines are about to be shipped later "this week." At this point, you will never here back from the company and you will have to proceed with litigation. However, several Grow Operators have contacted the FBI and an investigation has been opened into this companies wire fraud tactics. If,  and I am not optimistic, my machines are shipped this week and no later I will drop my complaint with the FBI.  Grow Operators have contacted the FBI and an investigation has been opened into this company's wire fraud tactics

This operator is not going to received a refund. The 2 machines he purchased in full are now manufactured and are awaiting shipment. Please note that previous to our recent production problems with operator PURCHASED AND RECEIVED OVER 10 MACHINES AND $100,000 IN EQUIPMENT IN FULL. The only issue has...

been on these last 2 machines. Shipping information will be forwarded to the operator this week on the last 2 machines that he purchased after his initial 10.Regards, Grow Management

This is a complaint in regards to delivery of the machine itself.  In fact, I believe this to be a complete fraud case, as we purchased the machine from Grow in October of 2016 and have yet to receive the machine.  We were advised by the Grow logistics department that the machine was finished in 2016 and being held at the manufacturer.  This was to help Grow avoid paying storage charges.  Now that we have procured a spot and requested the machine to be sent, the company claims they do not have the machine.  They have had over 40 days since our request for the machine.  The only response that we can elicit is that "they do not know when we can get our product."  My question is: If they don't know then who does?My feeling is that Mr. [redacted] and Grow sold the machine with the intent of never delivering.

Mr. ** agreed to purchase machines and locations from our company. We secured placements for his initial machines and they were shipped and put into operation. We then secured a military base near him through our ** Exchange contract. He was excited about placing machines at this ** installation and...

agreed to do so. He then paid in full for the equipment that was to be shipped and installed at that particular base. Of course, there would be no reason to purchase these machines if he had not in fact agreed to place the machines at the facility and had not agreed to it. Mr. ** then backed out of the military base. Our company charges for equipment, location procurement services and shipping/installation. When an operator backs out of a secured location there is a value and subsequent loss associated with it. It is not the fault of Grow that this operator essentially changed their mind and put our company in a bad situation with a national military contract. He then secured and offered an ** location to him in his area with the expectation that he would pay for the location services which he refused. I then gave him 3 very simple options to move forward. Please also note that this particular operator has stated in writing that "healthy vending doesn't work". He was caught on camera during training and by other operators at training ** items out of our storage locker, placing them in a duffel bag and leaving with them. It is egregious that this person would not harm our company by this erroneous complaint. We offer by far the best equipment in North America in the healthy vending industry and we offer it at a lower cost than any of our competitors. We have a proven system, great history and only want the success of our operators. Regards,**

Payments will continue to be made to the customer as they have been until paid in full. Again, Grow is under no requirement to refund any funds and reserve the right to ship machines instead. We consider this matter closed. Regards, Grow Management

To whom it may concern,Please note that we address all inquiries and complaints as a priority. In this case after research Mr. [redacted] is absolutely incorrect of his assessment of what has transpired.1. Mr. [redacted] signed his agreement on 1/14/15. Although per his agreement he was to make the initial...

deposit immediately he instead could not and did not make his deposit until two weeks later causing a two week delay.2. When we finally received his deposit we began our process and locations procurement. 3. Mr. [redacted] was invoiced for his first secured location on 3/5/15 and failed to pay the balance on his machine per his agreement until 4/6/15. This was a FULL MONTH delay from the date he was required per his agreement to pay his balance.4. On 3/24/15 our staff received an email from Mr. [redacted] stating "I would like a refund on my deposit due to personal reasons" disregarding the fact that his executed agreement specifically states that there are NO REFUNDS. 5. His initial machine was delayed for one simple reason. He FAILED TO PAY HIS BALANCE for a MONTH. Please note that Mr. [redacted] is also in [redacted] making the delivery process longer by nature. The balance payment was finally received on 4/6/2015 and his machine was shipped from the factory on 5/15/2015. This is easily between the standard production times of 4-6 weeks for a machine when it is out of stock.6. During the past few months our staff has attempted to contact Mr. [redacted] regarding potential locations several times and email messages and phone calls were unreturned making it impossible to effectively work his territory. 7. Mr. [redacted] was finally reached regarding a potential location at [redacted] who had requested a healthy vending machine. Mr. [redacted] after reviewing the location stated that there was less than 50 daily foot traffic and did not want the location.8. Our COO followed up with the location contact and it was VERIFIED that the location actually has a daily foot traffic of 200+ , was not interested in a profit share making it a PRIME location. It is obvious that Mr. [redacted] has wanted to cancel his agreement "for personal reasons" and has decided to engage in a smear campaign although it is clearly he who is lying. We employ a full staff of support and locations personnel however we cannot assist operators who are not willing to be assisted. Mr. [redacted] is also defaming our company by stating his assumption on both the cost of our equipment as well as the retail. We not only offer the absolute highest quality vending equipment on the market but we actually do it at the lowest profit margins in the industry. It is IMPOSSIBLE to find a [redacted] 5000 (our manufactured [redacted]) for $4,000. Please research and find out for yourself. By stating so, Mr. [redacted] is defaming our company and the appropriate action will be taken. Per his agreement it has been offered to Mr. [redacted] that he will be required to accept the College location and that we would be happy to continue the locations process given the fact he will actually be engaged and communicate with our staff so we are not wasting our time. There will be no refund offered or given. In fact he will be invoiced today for the College location.Regards, Grow Management

Grow Healthy Vending is just lying about mailing a check. [redacted] sent me an email on Nov 2nd that the payment has been processed and sent. It does not take 12 days for the mail to get from Southern California to Northern California.I had emailed (prior to November 1st 2017) [redacted] and his wife [redacted] who is also part of Grow Healthy Vending that I can provide them my bank details  so they can do a wire transfer. Basically pay me back in the same manner I paid Grow Healthy Vending but they did not respond to my emails.  I will provide my bank information and I want the funds transferred asap.If not, they will just keep lying and playing games which Grow Healthy Vending is very good at.

To whom it may concern,I have reviewed the territory, contacted the actual Operator and have also discussed with the Grow employees assigned to this account. Ms. [redacted] never gave any inclination that she was unhappy in anyway so I was very surprised to receive a Revdex.com message regarding this. Our staff...

did in fact secure [redacted] in her area for her. They agreed to take one machine. Ms. [redacted] has requested that we continue to secure a "large foot traffic location" for her second machine. We of course can concentrate on this but she has been made aware that almost all locations with daily foot traffic of over 300 people will require more than just one machine to be placed because of capacity needs. For instance a school of 2000 kids may need 6 machines just to fit their needs so it would be impossible to just place one machine into this type of location. Ms. [redacted] would actually need to purchase additional machines to fulfill a location such as this and she is currently not ready to do that. We have other viable leads in the area that our staff have followed up with I believe that her last machine should be placed pretty quickly. Ms. [redacted] has also been notified that she may contact me directly at anytime with any questions or concerns in the future. AAs I mentioned before, I was very surprised to receive this message considering I have never been made aware by my staff or by Ms. [redacted] that there were any issues whatsoever. We value customer service and communication and want to ensure the success of all of our Operators.

We have been patiently waiting 3 months for a real resolution.  At this point in our research we have already been contacted by 5 other people in he same situation that have not been paid back by [redacted]. If [redacted] would have been responsive to our calls and emails maybe we would be ok with this. But these are empty promises. Also we have documented proof that the Factory never had extra machines, never sent machines to wrong locations and are aware of numerous people being affected by Grow in a similar way. Unfortunately he simply lying. He can simply refund me back the full amount and resolve this but he chooses not to. His last promises to pay us back resualted in us chasing him trying to reach him by phone and Email without answering. When he finally answers an email he lashed out in a very aggressive and rude way. We were willing to be sensitive to his situation but we are not a bank. We would like to him to give us a full refund immediately.

To whom it may concern,Mr. [redacted] signed a supply and locations agreement with our company. He spent months comparing Grow vs. others in our industry, spoke to other Grow operators and was given answers to any question he may have had. He had a complete understanding of our business model and...

process. He then signed a supply and locations agreement that clearly outlines the terms of the agreement. There was never a promise made and we never give a promise in regards to timeframe of location procurement. Our goal is to secure the best locations possible, not the fastest. He understood this fully. The terms of that agreement regarding refunds is very clear. During the process we secured the Oklahoma City Museum of Art and other locations. Mr. [redacted] during the process has berated and used foul language so much with our staff that they requested not to work with him any longer. Mr. [redacted] stated in an email to me that he would apologize and that his actions were due to a Bi-Polar Disorder. I am happy to continue the locations process with Mr. [redacted] to secure his last machines as normal if he is willing to refrain from such behavior. We only want success for Mr. [redacted] and for him to follow our process. Regards,[redacted] | GROW HEALTHY VENDINGFounder and CEO

This was already a prior Review that was answered already. The refund check was mailed per the Operators agreement via the US Postal Service. If it is not processed for payment we will cancel and re-issue another however we must attempt to track the first check.

Mr. [redacted]'s machine has been ordered and we are awaiting final production from our factory with shipping instructions. His machine will be shipped and installed just as his initially purchased machine was Production times of other factories, distributors, divisions, machines, etc.. are irrelevant to the Grow inventory which is handled 100% autonomously of all others. I would also possibly suggest that Mr. [redacted] to refrain from making derogatory and demeaning comments to the staff at Grow Healthy Vending including those to Mrs. [redacted] who handles our Locations Department. I would be happy to post that email thread if Mr. [redacted] would like me to make it public?

This operator purchased approximately 17 machines in full with services which have ALL BEEN DELIVERED AND INSTALLED into locations within the Seattle area including 9 machines at the Seattle Times Building. They purchased and additional 3 machines at a deep discount however the factory inadvertently...

shipped those machines to another Grow operator. We then had to put the 2 machines back into production which is what caused the delay. Because of the delay we agreed to give the operator a refund back. They received one check of $5,0000 then another check of $2500. They then became rude and impatient. They will continue to receive the refund payments until they are paid in full.Regards, Grow Management.

Hi,We wanted to take the time to answer this complaint directly as we want to ensure the events of what has occurred are clear. This customer purchased a machine in full for a location that was secured for her at [redacted]. She paid the balance for the machine, it was shipped, installed and...

she began her business. In this case [redacted] had agreed to subsidize a portion of the vending sales. Many months after the machine was installed, operating and making revenue [redacted] notified the operator that they wished to have the machine removed. It is unfortunate but can happen from time to time. Sometimes this is due to the location being unhappy with the services being provided and it can also be a case where the location just decides to move on with another vending partner. The customer is correct that Grow does not have a "buy back" program. In fact, this is specifically written into each agreement and is included in hers as well. Grow cannot be responsible for lost locations well after a time period in which they were placed and operating. This was not an underperforming location, it was simply a location that apparently decided to move in another direction. The customer has an option of paying a relocation fee in order to have Grow find a new location and move the machine to that location. The day to day operations of the company are handled by the various managers and coaches in each department. The customer may contact the Locations Department directly in order to pay for and begin the relocation process. It is our goal to ensure success for all of our operators however Grow is not responsible for the loss of a performing location well after the fact. We will assist the operator as necessary to relocate her machine to another location.Regards,Grow Management

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID **, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
With regards to ** untruthful comments regarding stealing from his company, I take these accusations very seriously as they affect my integrity and attack my personal values in doing business.  When I originally received my “Welcome Packet” it contained 20 brochures, two female shirts that did not fit along with about 20 sample products to potential clients while making sales calls.  While visiting his office for training, I asked for permission from ** and ** who at the time was his operations manager if I could take two male shirts that would fit along with additional brochures so that I would not run out along with two coffee mugs that I’ve since given to potential customers.  Whatever he has on his camera was not stealing but authorized products that I received permission to take in plain sight of his employees and others that were participating in the day long rushed training program that they provide.  Read on to make your own judgement on who is stealing from who…….I originally purchased three vending machines from GROW only to be sent to potential accounts that I felt did not have the foot traffic to support my investment.  When I sent ** a very respectful letter illustrating my concerns, he took offense to it and after numerous requests to speak with him on the phone in person to clear the air, he never responded.  In fact, he has yet to pick up the phone to discuss concerns or questions since the day I left his training program.  I placed two machines at one location and was contacted a few months later by his sales person ** that they had another viable account for two machines ** and I agreed to purchase one more machine to satisfy the total of four (4) machines for the three locations with stipulations.  I requested that the other Soda machines be removed and that no additional free food would be offered so that the account would have the highest potential for sales.  It was confirmed that this request would be fulfilled but I never received an executed contract with my stipulations and have since received concerns from the account that this was never agreed to and they wanted all healthy.  When I put the healthy products in the machine, they simply did not sell well however, GROW does allow you to put traditional food in the machines which is a direct conflict of what they promote with their concept.  I even gave ** an idea to have his logo’s say “healthy and More” but he did not appreciate the idea.   I had also contacted Lexi who is their nutritionist and asked for a list of products that sell in other ** but it was never received.  They claim that the ** clubs is an A account that to date generates revenue well below what I had anticipated. In May of last year, I was again contacted by GROW unsolicited that they wanted to know if I was interested in an account at ** for three machines.  I requested to visit the location which is standard operating procedures but was told later that I should not have been offered the location because a new GROW franchise was in the area and the lead should have been provided to this franchise.  It was further explained to me that if I wanted the account, I would need to make the decision by 8am the next morning.  After sleeping on the situation, I contacted ** the next morning who at the time was the operations manager.  She convinced me that this was an A account and decided to send them a money order that day for **.  The next day I was approved to visit the Air Force base and to my surprise, I was competing with several other vending machines in each location which I was never informed about.   I decided at that time this would not be a viable location based on the lack of information I was provided and went on with my life for several months anticipating that in time I would find other locations when time permitted.  I was also informed that this would not be a problem because the other franchise would take the account which I’ve since learned never happened…..Was there really another franchise interested in this location???In December of 2016, I was once again contacted by their sales team that they have another location in an ** store, I submitted all of the necessary documentation to place the order but never received a contract after several requests.  One of ** responses on March 7th included: The ** Store admittedly should not have been offered to you at all and I instructed my team not to do so.  Keep in mind that I visited the store and approved the shipment but nobody from their organization contacted me for months to let me know that the machines were never ordered while at the same time they did not have another franchise interested and he owed me this machine along with another two (2). Knowing that the machines take about six (6) weeks for delivery, I made several attempts to contact ** (Logistics Director) without a response so I decided to get ** involved anticipating that I would incur conflict based on my past experience with him.  My e-mails and calls went unresponsive until I notified him that I have opened up a claim with the Revdex.com and that I’ve retained an a** to support my efforts to be compensated for my investment or, my remaining vending machines be put into production.  ** finally got back to me with the following options.  Option #1 Pay me ** over a 90 day period where I would take a ** loss for his organization doing nothing.  My guess is that their only revenue source is the ** they make on every machine sold and he wants to make sure he still receives the same profit of ** for the three machines that I purchased. They want their money paid in full the next day but need 90 days to pay just a portion of what I’ve paid out which questions his cash flow internally.  Option #2 expedite one machine for the apple store within 10 days at a cost of ** and pay me ** for the remaining 2 vending machines over a 60 day period.  I informed ** that I would pay him ** for the location predicated on the contract we agreed to and that he signed and has since informed me that he will not negotiate what was our contracted procurement price even though he has only provided me two locations and I’ve provided him payment for three (3).  Line item number 9 in our signed contract reads:  9) Future location procurement shall be offered at a discounted cost of ** per machine.  In addition and to verify our agreement, I originally paid for three locations in our contract that reads: Number of Vending Machine Location Placement(s) to be secured: (3)  Price per Machine Placement Secured: **.  Also sent in a previous e-mail from **:  **, I went ahead and made a consideration for future placements by dropping it from ** to ** per machine. ** clearly is prepared to not honor his own contracts and sent me a follow-up letter after I offered to pay GROW the ** for the ** store based on our signed contract: **, No that will not work for us and considering we have sold over ** machines in the country with * complaints in * years we are batting **%. I will take that all day. The solution I provided in the end was to pay GROW the ** even though they still owe me one (1) location was clearly fare and yet his response to my request via email to me is listed below.“Since you jumped the gun on the Revdex.com complaint you should know that regardless of the complaint being satisfied, it still is kept on their website for 3 full years. The damage is done and I am no longer interested in offering anything at this point however the initial options are available to you”On March 23rd, I contacted ** again to notify him that I would pay him the ** for the ** location even though I had already paid for a third location with the following text message: **,  I've been contemplating my options and was wondering if you could tell me a new timeline for the ** Store.  I'm not even sure they will wait any longer but I could attempt to contact them to see if they will wait longer.  Whatever timeline you give me needs to be accurate.  One of my existing accounts wants a third machine as well so please get back to me.  ** Sent from my **His response the following day via text was: **. I do not typically answer texts but I will. When you have fully recanted your Revdex.com complaint I will give you a timeline. I don't care if you need to tell them it was a misunderstanding or what but the fact is that complaint will be there for * years so I am not really inclined to do anything at this point. I don't want a closed complaint. Retract it completely and I will discuss options that work. Had * or someone from his organization gotten back to me during the * day time period I attempted to contact them regarding my order, chances are that I would have never contacted the Revdex.com and only when I informed ** that the complaint had been filed did he make his initial contact with me.  ** is clearly using threats to recant my complaint with the Revdex.com and is not inclined to expedite the manufacturing of equipment that I’ve paid for in full which in my mind is theft to the consumer and may cause me to seek legal action against his company. On  March 27th, 2017 I contacted ** with the following message based on his treats that I remove my complaint with the Revdex.com. ** ,I’ve contacted the senior VP of the Revdex.com to explain my situation and to be provided feedback per your request to remove my complaint with the Revdex.com.  It was explained to me that I could remove the text associated with the complaint but the complaint itself would remain for the 3 year time period.  I’m willing to do so with the following stipulations.  I would need for you to initiate the order for the three remaining machines by the end of the day on Tuesday March 28th, 2017 along with the contact information with Vend-net that the order has been satisfied.  If I can salvage the Apple store which is yet to be determined, I would like a timeline for delivery within the next 5 business days and I will pay you the $995 once the machine arrives in Phoenix.  If the Apple store is no longer an option, standard shipping of 4-6 weeks would be acceptable.  In addition, I’ve not yet sent a response to yours regarding my initial complaint but have prepared one for you to read that I’m prepared to send to the Revdex.com which they have given me time to send by the end of the day this week on Wednesday March 29th.  I’ve also explained to the Revdex.com that you have since demanded that I have the complaint removed “When you have fully recanted your Revdex.com complaint I will give you a timeline. I don't care if you need to tell them it was a misunderstanding or what but the fact is that complaint will be there for ** years so I am not really inclined to do anything at this point. I don't want a closed complaint. Retract it completely and I will discuss options that work.  After sharing this information with the Revdex.com, they found this demand concerning and are prepared to complete an investigating regarding this matter that I believe could affect your rating with the Revdex.com.  It’s clear that you owe me the vending machines and your request to have my complaint removed to the best of my ability can be accomplished.  I would recommend that you take the easy steps necessary to fulfill your obligation to provide me the equipment that I’ve paid for in full** responded with the following message: **,I do not know the ** that you mention however I have cc'd ** from the San Diego Revdex.com on this email so he is completely notified of the the situation. It is always our wish to try and come to a logical agreement with any operator.Although we attempted to frame it in another way I want you o be 100% clear-  My communication to you to recant your complaint was based on the fact that your complaint was invalid, erroneous and you owe us money. The complaint should not have been made by you in the first place. Based on the video footage and testimony of other operators I also believe you are a kleptomaniac. The offers that I have extended to you are completely withdrawn. I would prefer to litigate this. This is my final communication with you. Our ** can discuss it for now on. Please cease and desist any contact with myself of my staff. Any other emails or phone calls from you will be disregarded. Regards, ** | GROW HEALTHY VENDINGI’ve indicated to ** that I do not believe that providing all Healthy vending is a sustainable venture to provide his customers with a viable ROI and this is supported by their approval to put traditional products in machines that are plastered with “Healthy Vending” logos.  If you choose to invest in Healthy vending, you will soon find out from other vending companies that the above feedback is true throughout the vending industry based on what has been shared with me by other companies.  ** is clearly upset that my efforts to expose his unlawful activity was communicated to the Revdex.com and has since made every effort to seek revenge.  If you are reading this response I’ve posted to **, I encourage you to read between the lines and make a good decision for yourself with regards to any investment with GROW.  I can assure you that it has been a disappointment from day one for me and I would encourage you to invest in an organization that will provide you a ROI and communicate with you in a professional manner.  I will leave you with this one question to ask yourself, if ** had such feelings about working with me as a partner with his company, why would I continue to be contacted by his sales team for locations while at the same time he admits I should have not been offered the site????  This happened not once or twice, but three times in an effort to scam me out of my money.  I can honestly say that I went into this investment with a plan to expand which is clearly supported by the over ** I have sent him in the past.  A lesson well learned and served to me to make better decisions in the future with regards to my money and where I choose to invest.  Regards,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Dear [redacted],First off sorry for the late reply. I had copious amounts of emails and paper work to sift through regarding Grow Healthy’s claims in the letter you forwarded to me.I am going to go through each point made by Grow Healthy and respond accordance to that.1 & 2. I signed the agreement on 01/15/15 not on 01/14/15 as they stated. I did make my initial deposit two weeks later on 01/31/15, that is correct. I was also aware that this had caused a two week delay in the process and location procurement. This was acceptable because I could not go to Iowa for the vending machine training until March 17, 2015 when it was offered by Grow Healthy. I did not see the value in having a location secured and a machine delivered before I knew how to function it properly. Especially where I had to pay for the flights and accommoda- tions for the training out of pocket.3 & 4. Once training was completed and a location was secured I received the invoice for my first secured location. The location was secured three months after the initial deposit and after I spent money on training for flights and accommodations. It was during these three months that I doubted the abilities of the location procurement. By this time I had already been assigned two different individuals to help secure locations (which went on to three different people by June). This was extremely frustrating, because when they changed the individual working with me, I was essentially briefing the new individual on previous location work done. Also, when I sug- gested locations that I believed would strive, they did not seem to be reaching out to them. This is essentially why I asked for a refund on my deposit. I was not seeing the support promised by Grow Healthy for the large sum of money I gave as a deposit. I also contacted Grow Healthy regarding the possibility of applying my whole deposit towards the purchase of the first machine. They informed me that would not be possible and I had to go with two loca- tions. Basically to insure I was trapped into buying two machines through them. It also states no where in the “Grow Supply Agreement” that the deposit is not refundable. Personally, it was stressful working with the location individuals. They were supposed to provide weekly update e- mail on the progress of their work, which was never done. There was a complete lack of sup- port. Calling and stating the same information from 3 weeks prior is not progress in my mind, especially where they are charging $750USD for the location assistance. Essentially, I came to the conclusion that maybe I could secure locations more effectively. Therefore, what was I pay- ing them for? Grow Healthy states that, “It is IMPOSSIBLE to find a [redacted] 5000 (our manu- factured [redacted]) for $4,000”. I did my due diligence and went straight to manufacture’s websites and it is possible to find this machine for under $5,000. This is almost half the amount of what Grow Healthy is charging. My thought process is, why would I pay a third party company for a machine that I can get for less and for location work that is going around in circles.5. Grow Healthy never stated that living in [redacted] would make the delivery process longer by nature. Grow Healthy also never informed me that the machine was “out of stock“ which they claimed made the delivery time even longer than normal.6 - 8. As mentioned above locations has been in contact with me over the last few months re- garding three specific locations. [redacted], and [redacted]. I returned the calls to both [redacted] and [redacted] to try and make appointments to secure these lo- cations and neither called me back to set up an appointment. [redacted] did return my phone call and I went and met with them in July. The college recommended two locations for me to review. I went to both, one was the main building they are located in. The location had a few classrooms and a common lobby area and a common cafeteria area. I do not see how the cafe- teria had 200+ foot traffic. Plus, if it was placed in the cafeteria it would of been placed in a back corner out of the way. The only place that I felt would have 200+ foot traffic was in the main lob- by area. However, there was no electrical outlet in this area to hook the machine up too. [redacted] also provided a second location for me to go check. This was a newer building which has potential. But again, two out of the three units were unoccupied so there was no way the foot traffic was 200+. Perhaps they were combining the foot traffic at both locations to reach the 200+ number? I stated that I did not feel either of these locations alone were adequate. If we had machines in both of [redacted]’s locations, if they were fully occupied it may work. But, I do not want to put another deposit down for a third machine unless I felt at ease that they would be profitable. Another thing to note is how [redacted] stated on their survey that they were not interested in profit sharing. Grow Healthy argues that this makes for a “PRIME location”. This is hard to swallow because on the first location secured by Grow Healthy it was also stated on that survey that the business was not interested in profit sharing. However, once everything was delivered and in place the business stated that they had said they were looking for profit sharing and then I had to offer them the 15%.I take offence to the fact that they are making a claim that I am lying and pushing me to pay for a location that I do not feel is adequate. I feel as though we are supposed to be working togeth- er. Grow Healthy has shown limited support unless it was for something that would directly ben- efit them. They made it out to seem as though stocking the machine and monitoring the ma- chine would be easy when it in fact has not been. You cannot get in on the food distributors un- less you are making a minimum order of $1,000 which is impossible with one or two machines. Making it extremely hard to obtain the healthy snacks they send out in there welcoming pack- ages. Lastly, the monitoring system provided by [redacted] has yet to work how they claimed it would. [redacted] does not return phone calls and they never trained me properly on how to work the monitoring system. They seemed to be learning as much as I was.All in all, I feel though Grow Healthy is forcing me to put a machine into [redacted]. It feels like they stopped working with me when I stated that I did not want to put a machine in [redacted]. Grow Healthy is being overly pushy when only they will benefit from something. That is not how you do business, it creates resentfulness.Lastly, please note that I miscalculated the amount claimed, it should be, $4,870.00USD.Thank you for your time.Regards,[redacted]
