This is not a customer of Gryphon's He is the tenant next door to a customer of Gryphon's When we heard that we had "over-sprayed" some cars next door, we immediately set up to have a mobile car detailer come out and clean the cars of the employees that worked there ***
claimed he didn't want to wait the business days it was going to take to get the detailer on site, and elected to go have his car detailed (inside and out) by another company I told him we had the detailer scheduled, but he didn't want that I told him that we wouldn't pay for his private detail because we have a vendor that does outside-only details for much cheaper than the in-store and full-car detailers charge. The detailer showed up, as promised, and cleaned other cars (all of the cars that claimed to have overspray) All of the other employees were satisfied with this effort and result Our detailer cleaned the cars at the employee's office while they worked Thus, not taking their personal time or efforts to get cleaned ***, on his own, elected to not wait and pay for it himself He took his car down to an expensive detail shop and sat their for "hours" while they did it That was his choice But not Gryphon's fault that he made that choice Please remove this complaint from my Revdex.com, as it is not from a customer and is not a valid complaint I can offer to pay *** the $that our detailer charges (which I would have paid, had he waited) thx

As I stated Russ the owner and Russ the manager are liarsOnce the over spray occurred and we complainedIt took a week before they sent their roofers to our parking lot and attempted to start cleaning with clay barsThey spent hours on my book keepers truck and minutes on the rest of the vehiclesKeep in mind this was a week after they put over spray on our vehiclesMy employees complained that this was not acceptable and that the over spray was still all over their cars and it needed to be done correctlyRuss the manager specifically told me that I could take it and have it clay bared and they would reimburse me up to $So I took it to *** *** they are not an expensive detail shopI drive a BMW and was informed the longer you wait the harder it is to get the over spray off.I had to argue with the owner about getting the mobile detailers back out and do the job rightThey didn't get back out to us until weeks later with a mobile detail team that spent the two full day's here making it rightThe time and aggravation that the Russ the owner and Russ the manager caused by treating us like crap and making me and my employees wait weeks to solve an issue that they caused is unacceptableAs you can see with some negative reviews that they have received from our employee's on your websiteMy employees as well as I take pride in our vehicles and did not deserve to be treated like second rate citizensAnd now to have Russ deny that he authorized me to get my car cleaned and gave the authority to pay up to $is a blatant lieI have a whole office full of people that will testify that my statement is true and honest and that Gryphon Roofing, the owner Russ and the manager Russ are lyingDo the right thing and pay for the mistakes your company and employee's created and be men of your word and reimburse me like you promised

We have tried to explain the insurance process to *** and have not been able to make him understand how it works On our initial inspection we found damage to the roof and had *** sign an agreement that allowed us to work with his insurance company and authorizes us to do the repairs that the insurance agrees to pay for On that agreement we write notes of items that we will try to get the insurance to pay for (such as the damaged lattice) However, the agreement also says that if the insurance doesn't pay a sufficient amount to do the repairs, that Gryphon will not perform them In this case, the insurance company did not pay us to fix the lattice, so we did not do that part of the job The customer has paid us for the roofing work that we did and the job is complete We offered him a $credit back to try to keep him happy, but he has not accepted that offer We still would offer that amount if he removes this Revdex.com complaint

After the complaint was filed I received calls from Melissa, Nolan, and Tim S[redacted]. Melissa was hostile in regards to the...

payment and the complaint. She said I had no right to withhold the payment. she insisted that the job was finished. my complaint was not addressed at this time. Nolan, however, was very professional in finding some resolution to my complaint and said he will do the best he can to help me. Tim S[redacted] called after Nolan asked him to do so. Our conversation did not produce a good result. He insisted that the Latice was dependent upon insurance approval. This contradicted what he told me when I signed the initial agreement. The 3 different reasons they gave me were that it was not in the contract, I did not sign the agreement, and lastly that it was not approved by the insurance. To address the first reason I sent them a copy of contract (duplicate). To address the second reason, I sent a photo of the first agreement containing my signature and Tim S[redacted]'s signature. Included on this agreement is prepping and paint of the latise. In response to the third reason, I told him that the prep and painting of the letice was included in the initial agreement and it was not specified that the prep and painting of the letice was pending insurance approval. Since we can not agree, I told Tim that I am willing to pay my balance but I will not withdraw my complaint. Nolan called after I spoke with Tim and insisted that the prep and painting of the letice was not covered by insurance. Nolan offered monetary assistance to pay someone else to prep and paint the letice. The monetary assistance was 250USD. I told Nolan that I prefer that Gryphon to finish the job.

This is the third time that I have used Gryphon Roofing. The first was a shingle roof on a different house. The second was a foam roof on a flat roof. Finally another shingle roof on my own house. Each occasion went very well for me as a customer. The survey of the existing roof was promptly scheduled. Work crews arrived on time went to work and were very diligent. Post-job clean up was taken care of in a business like manner. Everything went as scheduled without any problems.

Have used Gryphon since 2006. Very professional, knowledgeable and great price for the services they provide. An excellent roofing company.

We have tried contacting the customer 4 times since her last complaint.  My supervisor, [redacted], called and left messages at [redacted] on 8/22 and 8/25 with no call back.  My scheduling coordinator, [redacted], has also called twice in the first week of September and didn't get a call back.  This is the phone number we have on file and have communicated through before.  If the customer wasn't so insistent on being present when someone looked at her patio roof, then we simply would have shown up and taken care of it long ago.  But, because she is adamant that she be there, we haven't dared go unless she returns our phone calls. We would be delighted to look at the patio roof again, but we need some response.

We suspect that because there is a balance still due on her account from last year, that she is purposely delaying responding to prolong the payment process.  We need to get this resolved so we can collect final payment and so the customer can finally have a functioning patio roof.  The last time we were on site, the patio roof appeared to be in perfect condition and we had repaired the drywall for her.  We thought that would be the end of it.  But if there is a persistent leak, we need to be allowed access on site to determine what the cause is and address it.

We have been to the [redacted] residence several times to address her patio leak and the drywall beneath it.  We performed a repair under warranty several months ago and even returned to repair the drywall which we don't normally do.  Apparently there is a new leak that we will address under...

warranty assuming it is coming from our work area.  We generally can do this very promptly.  However, she called in 2 days ago and filed her complaint 36 hours later.  Because the leak is outside the home, we told her it was less of a priority than other customers with leaks inside their homes.  We will be out to address this leak in the next day or two and will, as always, take care of our past customers.

Dealing with this company was a hassle free experience. I am very happy with the work they did. The quote for the work was done quickly but with attention to detail. I feel that my roof is in really good shape now because of the meticulous work they did.

Our superintendent met with Ms. [redacted] on 12/20/13 to review the leak.  He agreed to send the crew back to seal the other side that is now leaking.  This work will be finished soon and the warranty work will be done at no cost to her.thx, [redacted], president

We appreciated Brooks' honest, no-sales-pitch approach to accessing the damage to our roof. Juan and Eugenio were very professional and thorough in repairing our roof and left the work site very clean and free of debris. We will definitely return to Gryphon Roofing for all of our future roofing needs. We highly recommend them.

Very professional and responsive. All appointments were kept and timely. Roofers were polite and did a great job! Price was comparable to other bids we received. Quality Control/Supervisor followed up to check the work. No hesitancy referring to others we know. Thank you, Gryphon!!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I have not heard from this business at all since I called them.  They never return my calls.   When I called the office, the young lady on the phone said, "We will try to put you on the schedule" but I have received no response since then.  The drywall repair was less than adequate, and considering the repair had been done improperly, yes, they are obligated to not only repair the drywall but to replace certain parts.  If they had ever bothered to contact me, they would know this.  I expect this business to treat me like a valued customer and honor their work and warranty.  NO roof should leak twice since it has been redone.  I should not have ANY issues with my roof at this time.  If Gryphon Roofing intends to truly do what they claim in their response, then they need to communicate with me and not blow me off as they have done since March.  Also, they are not permitted on my premises without my permission or the presence of myself or my appointed representative.
