I didn't ask permission to mention his name- But He was so nice and took k care of my  complaint! Thank You Again Very Much for such speedy results! Dear [redacted],   In response to your letter regarding Customer Experience ID [redacted], Highway Toll Administration followed the standard policy and procedures as laid out in the rental agreement the customer signed at the time of renting the vehicle.   We are a company that provides...

electronic toll collection services to the rental customers, which offer a fast and convenient way of paying for tolls by utilizing an in-vehicle transponder device or license plate imaging.  Customers are provided with a rental jacket and other handout materials that explain the service and the daily convenience fee of $3.95/rental day up to a maximum of $19.75/rental plus the toll amounts once the service is activated.  The service can be activated by driving through an all-electronic toll booth, one that does not accept cash, and the toll is picked up by the transponder installed inside the vehicle or by license plate imaging.    Once the service is activated by the customer, the credit card that is utilized to rent the vehicle will be charged (as tolls are reported to us by tolling authority) after the vehicle is returned for the daily convenience fees plus the toll amounts incurred by the renter during his or her rental period.   We strive to provide excellent service to all of our customers and to that end, all transponders installed inside the vehicles contain a phone number which connects the customer to a live agent. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and confirm that the business has communicated with me and processed a refund (which I am told to expect shortly).  This resolution is satisfactory to me.  I would just like to note that my concern/complaint was not with the process of assessing tolls, but with the delay in refunding my monies after I had spoken with the business and submitted required documentation since February.

Revdex.com:Please note that the road/bridge is not a cashless toll road as the Highway Toll Authority states. There are cash booths available for cash payment.Additionally, the local tolling agency ([redacted]) states that no fees should be charged if [redacted] is able to provide a violation tolling number. This has been the case for many years where [redacted] will send the bill directly to the consumer. I am glad to see this issue resolved. However, I am very disappointed that there is no way to opt out of the service.

a rental agreement or contract number I may be able to locate the information.Please be advised that SR589 is a cashless toll road, what this means is on cashless toll roads there is no area to pay by cash, all toll booths have been removed. Instead, there is an overhead gantry which scans the vehicle as you pass underneath, and charges the accountregistered to the vehicle.
