The responses from Hair Cuttery on this site are all false...
These responses you see here from Hair Cuttery are all false. Just think why are they not admitting to their errors? why are they always portraying to be nice and right and the customer wrong? they are LYING!
AVOID HAIR CUTTERY ALL TOGETHER! Go to your neighborhood hair salon, or better yet, get ur cut from your 5 yr old which would be better than theirs...

Horrible service and Customer satisfaction
I went to the Hair Cuttery on 99th Ave and Flagler st, 33174 area 3 weeks ago and had my hair done by the daily manager Elina. I wanted my light ash blonde to match my 2-inch roots grey growth. I paid $160 for bleach, color, Oleoplex, and cut. I left the store with lilac and grey tones thinking when I wash it the lilac will fade. After 2 weeks of washing my hair as usual my hair color had 3 different tones. lilac, grey, and light brown. Elina had arranged for me to come in to get it fixed. When I got there she had me waiting 40 min after seeing in bright lights what my hair looked liked and reviewed what needed to be done to fix, adding the step of Oleoplex to prevent damage. Then after 40 min she tells me there's no Oleoplex. I looked at her angry and asked her, "If you knew there's none why did u have me waiting all this time like a fool?" Some other personnel asked her to use her own, and she said, "no, I'm not using mine cause they don't reimburse me". I left angry and asked her for that portion of the coloring part money refund. She said to call the manager tomorrow Monday. On Monday the 14th I called and spoke to Elsidra explaining everything and that I needed my money back for the color part. She said she will arrange for someone else at another store to fix it. Close to the Aventura store in Florida which is near my home. That she will call me tomorrow. Tuesday came and no call. Wednesday I called and no Elsidra to be found. I will NEVER AGAIN step into a Hair Cuttery again for as long as I live. I wasted my time n money, ruined my hair, my image, and aggravated by the incompetent personnel working at this store. They don't know how to run a business, and know nothing about customer satisfaction! I will tell everyone I know what crappy job they did and warn them to avoid Hair Cuttery; as they're NOT CHEAP n will end up paying 3 times headaches than if they go to a reputable company from the start. I went with my elderly mom who got a horrible haircut too from a lady who was just learning, yet the price was $22 for a very short horrible uneven cut.

Thank you for your phone call today and this email...I called and spoke with the client and have also spoken with the stylist...we are offering a greatly reduced chemical service to the client and she has agreed to return...we are looking forward to retaining her as a client...thank you

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I am completely offended that this individual is alleging that I am making false statements. I would like to obtain a list of the employees working the day of my visit as well as the manager on duty. I requested to speak to a manager several times and the lady, who was blonde haired and Hispanic, did not come over until my visit was nearly over. I would strongly encourage Hair Cuttery to refrain from making any further accusations against me. I submitted this complaint in an effort to improve THEIR business. Not only will I never visit any Hair Cuttery locations, but I will refrain from visiting any [redacted] locations including [redacted]. As I previously stated, I will be consulting my legal team for the discrimination that I experienced for which Hair Cuttery is clearly not apologizing for buy rather stating that I am not being truthful. Lastly, I have been advised that a refund will be provided but it has not been received as of today. If their statement posted in the salon states that they will refund or fix it if you're not satisfied, I should not have had to go through the hassle and inconvenience of doing this letter to get resolution.

Response to this complaint:
This client (mom) came in with her child. Client and child both wanted a haircut....

Unfortunataly the child had head lice and our stylist had to stop the service as it is a state law to do so. The client was "in service". She also left the salon to take the child to the doctor and get the medication for the lice. Our stylist made an appointment the next day for the client (mom)for her hair cut. The next day the client (mom) came in late for her appointment. The stylist are trained to wait up to 5 minutes. After that the stylist had to take clients that were at the salon and waiting to be be serviced. The stylist did take the next waiting client. Then the client (mom) that was to be at the salon 15 minutes prior did show up. She was then upset she was not taken right away. Her stylist needed to take the waiting client. We offered her to wait about 15 minutes for the stylist of her choice. Or another stylist could help her.
She never called our corporate office to let us know she was angry nor myself, (District Manager), we could have done something for her to make it ok for all involved. She chose to go to Revdex.com. We are a company that takes client service very serious. Our clients are important and we do everything to make them happy. We even advertise "Smile back Guarantee". The stylist took the next client waiting as she sould have when a client with an appointment is 15 minutes late. We would have gotten her in.

Review: I made an appointment at Hair Cuttery a week in advance for a relaxer with a certain hair dresser that has done my hair for 2 1/2 years. I came 45 minutes early on the appointed day, Friday. I was asked whom I am at the salon for? I answered [redacted] and the two stylist said she has three other appointments. I waited then a male came in and at 1 o'clock two female customers came in and started to talk then said she smells like a relaxer. I could not think they were talking about me until they confronted me. When they saw that I was not going to answer one of the women who came in front of my face and started talking to me about relaxer and other things. I just ignored her but that one was very insistent that I give her my attention. I was confronted by two customers after me in a very rude way. I was given a relaxer and color which I was charged for and I was left under the dyer to dry my hair for 30 minutes and not checked once. After the dyer stopped I waited 15 minutes and when [redacted] came, I went to the chair and she said the back of my hair was not dry. I was their for three hours and I said I have to go. I waited for 15 minutes after the dryer had cut off. I called the Main Hair Cuttery customer service line on Saturday 6:00 pm and spoke to Alfred that said you had to talk to the manager not me and it seems to me that [redacted] did everything right. I will refer your issue to the district salon. I was upset after hearing that statement. I also complaint that after a 3hr time I had to restyle my hair the next day. I paid $161.05 to Hair Cuttery and that does not include the tip I left. I felt cheated and when I find out that I should be confronted by customers as a norm. I had to report this salon's service. My white sweater that I asked if I can lay down at a certain spot was cover with that women's purse when I came to claim it, and it was dirtied and I have to pay to dry clean it.Desired Settlement: I want better service when I attend to get my Hair Treatment. I deserve better service at Hair Cuttery and I should not be confronted by customers when I enter the store. They should not get exceptional service and I none. Next time the police would be there at Hair Cuttery.

Review: I went to the Hair Cuttery located in [redacted], VA to have my eyebrows arched on 10/11/14. Approximately 5 minutes after the service was done, I started to feel excruciating pain on both areas above my eyelid, I then noticed the lady who did my eyebrows burned me and I have severe scars. When I back inside the facility, the lady didn't apologize but instead try to justify that burning me was "normal" reaction. I then spoke to the Manager name Snow on 10/12/14 to complain, she advise to provide pictures to her cell phone which I did but only to find out that it was the wrong number. This experience has not only been painful but extremely frustrated and disappointed especially because it occurred on the day before my wedding and they choose not to resolve the issueDesired Settlement: I am requesting for monetary refund. The amount, tip I paid for the service and for the price of the cosmetics I had to pay in attempt to cover up my scars.

Review: Last week, I called and made an appointment for an updo. The only reason I called this location was for two reasons: 1) it is right down the street from my house, and 2) I looked up prices online and it says $17 and up for an updo. Great price. I made an appointment for 4pm on 10/26. This was for my cousin's wedding which was taking place in [redacted], VA. The wedding ended a bit early, so I drove the 30 miles home, just to go to this location to get my hair done in time for the reception at 7pm. I called when I got into the car and asked them if I could come earlier. First, the lady that was scheduled with [redacted], she must have had a client. Because someone was relaying what we were each saying through the phone and it was getting extremely obnoxious and unprofessional. They said I could not come earlier because [redacted] was with a client. Finally, my tone got a bit louder and I told them anyone could do my hair I just need to come in as soon as possible because this is for a reception and I am tight on time. They finally said just to walk in. I came in and was seen right away. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and she started to curl my hair. After, she started putting my hair half up. It did not look anything like the picture and I told her that. She kept trying and asked me what I thought, and I said look at the picture! Finally, I saw one of their other workers with the style and she came over. I said this isn't hard, I want similar to her. She tried to do it, and again, did not look right. The other lady (I think [redacted]) took over, and within 10 minutes, it looked perfect. The other lady was combing out my curls while [redacted] did something to make them look perfect.I checked out and they charged me $50. I came once for another wedding in Sept and it was awful. I will never return to Hair Cuttery ever. I could have done my hair by myself for free for the efforts that the lady did and instead I wasted $60.Desired Settlement: I want my money back and I will never ever return. She can keep her tip even though that wasn't deserved and it should have gone to the other lady. I want my $50 back on my card.
