Late March 2019, I signed up for Cool Sculpting a non invasive method of fat reduction. Was told the machine was booked until May 9th, I was offered other services until then. The called me that morning and cancelled. In early June I again
contacted the Manager, ***, to discuss my concerns. He then offered me additional services because the machine was now broken. On August 14th I met with *** and he assured me that a new machine was coming in 4 weeks and that I would be first on the list. It is now over 11 weeks. My last scheduled appointment was October 3rd. The office was locked when I arrived. I have left 2 messages since then. I have seen *** on the street and he avoids me. I would appreciate any help with this matter as I feel the $3500. I paid, I did not receive that amount of services. I had 2 facial treatments and 8 carboxy treatments which when checking other clinics is worth under $2500.
I am looking for a credit to my credit card because I no longer feel comfortable dealing with this clinic.
I had purchased a few pkgs from Hairfree starting in Dec. 2016. Then I was told there was a special for another 10 IPL $300.00. (I originally spent $2500.00 for 15)set of treatments, Then another special for microdermabrasion treatments and another for $200.00 for *** treatments. Then I was offered to pay $500.00 for 2 years unlimited IPL treatments. I had given *** $300.00 towards it and had purchased all of these specials. I have texts confirming all of this. According to her their lease was up in Scarborough but she was working on it. Then she just stopped all communication with me. She deleted me from ***, *** and blocked my cell phone number from contacting her. I understand they have two more locations. One downtown and one in Brampton that are still active. All I would like is my money back. I had 11 IPL treatments plus the two years unlimited IPL and one *** and one chemical peel and one microdermabrasion remaining. The total would be $1000.00 to cover the cost of services I never received.
I would like a full refund
Unfortunately, the Scarborough location closing was out of our control. All clients are more then welcome to complete their sessions in one of the two other locations. However, we are willing to give *** a refund of $300 for the last package that she put a deposit towards and was not able to start. All other packages are non refundable at this point as they were purchased a long time ago. We are very apologetic about what occurred.

I appreciate the offer of $300.00 unfortunately those previous packages where purchased with no expiry date and with the intentions of receiving the service. Based on your current actions of going so far as to ignore me, delete me and stop responding to me I am not comfortable receiving the services owed to me from your remaining locations. I cannot trust you and these are delicate services. The other locations are also not conveniently located for myself. The other packages also where not non refundable. I paid for a service and you have not and are not able to provide it and therefore you owe me my money back. Please email me the $1000.00 you owe me and do the right thing.
The Scarborough location is out of business. However, out of good faith we are offering a refund of no more then $500. Half payable in December and the other half in January. All services have always been non refundable as it is stated in the initial consultation form which you had signed back in December 2016.

I originally purchased 10 hair removal sessions from Hair Free Laser in Scarborough at Woodside Mall with *** for $1000 cash. At the time, *** was very nice and accommodating and I felt comfortable with her work, enough so to buy 8 more sessions for an additional $650 ($300 with VISA and $350 with an e-transfer - BAD IDEA). So, in total I had 18 sessions, for a total cost of $1650 (approx $91.66 per session). Things were fine, my appointments were regular and *** was very easy going, especially when I need to reschedule or if they needed to reschedule. After 7 sessions, I was told that the location at Woodside Mall was not renewing their lease and will be closing. I was informed of this on May 29th, 2018 and was offered a free session as a way to make up for any inconvenience. I was unable to make it to either of their alternate locations due to the distance (1 hour away, one way). It didn't make sense to me to spend two hours on the road for a 15 mins sessions. I was also leaving Toronto for a 1 month leave to the US and spoke with *** about this, where I also mentioned that since the closest location to me was closing, I may be interested in getting a refund for my 11 unused sessions. She told me to call her when I was back from my leave. All of this was discussed on June 25th and I came back from my leave on July 28th. On July 30th, I texted *** to let her know I was back with no response. Again on the 31st, no response. We spoke briefly on or about August 4th and I informed her that I would like a refund for the unused sessions. She told me she was away from the office for a bit and needed a few days to settle in, which I obliged. Up until this point, I had to reason to think she would "blacklist" me. The last text I sent to her was August 8th and never heard from her again.I left messages for her on her cell, with reception at her other location in Brampton and even spoke with her brother *** who assured me he would get her to contact me. I have called about 30 times (from July 31st to Oct 9, 2018), to both *** and *** with no results. I finally got a hold of *** at his clinic on Bloor on OCTOBER 2nd, I reiterated my situation with his sister and he tried to pass the onus on to her because she ran the Scarborough clinic but it's a family business, I shouldn't have to chase any of them down, as I am technically still a customer of their business. *** told me to call back on October 6th so he can look into the accounts for the Scarborough clinic and if they accounts were open, he would be able to cut me a check for the $708. I called on Oct 6, twice with no answer and left a voicemail. I called again today October 9th and was told by his receptionist he was busy. I have been patient for almost 2.5 months and as a customer who has paid in full for her treatments, this behavior by *** and now *** is absolutely appalling. The lack of customer service, communication and professionalism has left me no choice but to leave this review. I have exhausted all my normal options in trying to get back my $708 back. (I was able to get the $300 via a charge back from VISA). If I cannot secure my refund of $708, I will be moving forward with my attorney, for a full refund of $1650 plus court costs. Every text and phone call has been noted and saved, bank statements verified and call logs saved as well. My patience has run out and giving them the benefit of the doubt has clearly only been to my detriment.
I would just like a refund of my UNUSED sessions. Out of 18 in total, I only received 7 before the business closed down. $91.66 x 11 unused sessions is $1008.26. Minus the $300 VISA charge back I was able to obtain is $708.
I have tried several times in the month of August 2018 to contact the owners/managers (*** or ***)at Hairfree Laser Skin Clinics and no return response. I have phoned their Toronto and Brampton offices and have left messages on the voicemail as well as with their employees. I have tried to contact them via email at ***@hairfreeclinics.com and ***@hairfreeclinics.com and no return response. I want to speak with the owners regarding my remaining treatment sessions for laser hair removal. I was receiving these treatments at their Scarborough location, *** Circle, Woodside Square until late 2016. After that, I stopped going for personal/family reasons and I was unaware that the business had closed down until recently when I tried to make an appointment to continue my treatment sessions. The phone number was out of service. There was no prior notification to me either via mail or telephone regarding the closure of the Scarborough location. Also, the Scarborough location is still listed as a location site on their website although it is no longer open. Their Toronto and Brampton locations are too far for me to travel to...approximately 50 minutes to the Toronto location and 1 hour to the Brampton location by car. I have paid, in full, thousands of dollars for laser treatments that I have not yet used. Hairfree Laser Skin Clinics closed down the Scarborough location without notifying me either by mail or phone. I should receive a refund on the remaining treatment sessions since there is no alternate Scarborough or comparable location (in terms of distance) at this time for me to go to and continue on with my treatments. I would like the owners to contact me to discuss a refund.

had a package of 8 sessions Laser Hair Removal, to which she has used 4. so 4 sessions are remaining. She is a client at our Scarborough location. Our lease ended with our Scarborough land lords and we are currently seeking a new office space to lease. The 8 treatment program that *** had purchased had a 18 month expiration. However, since the end of 2015 *** has not come in for treatment. We have told her we will that we will allow her to finish her treatments, however it would have to be at any of our other offices, or she can wait until our Scarborough office opens.

As a courtesy and good business practice, I should have been contacted either via mail or telephone that their lease had ended at the Scarborough location and that they would no longer be offering services from this location. As a courtesy and good business practice, my recent phone calls and emails (all with a positive tone) should have been returned. I should not have to resort to contacting the Revdex.com in order to receive a response. I have been a loyal client at Hairfree Laser Clinic/Scarborough location since 2004. I have purchased and paid in full for several treatment packages over the years. My mother fell seriously ill in 2015/2016 and she passed away in May 2018. Therefore, my treatments at Hairfree Laser Clinic have not been a priority. I have paid in full for laser hair removal treatment packages for my face, arms, back and legs. I have many more sessions remaining for my back and legs... not just 4 and 8 treatments as mentioned in their response. These numbers are incorrect. Their office in Toronto is 50 minutes away by car and the Brampton office is 1 hour away by car. There are no timelines regarding this new office space in Scarborough so I'm hoping to come to a compromise...possibly finish some of my treatment sessions at the Toronto office and get a refund for the remaining treatments. I would like for the owners to contact me so that we can discuss this matter.
