Halona Glass Reviews (60)

Review: I purchased a stained glass piece in August of 2014 and have not received the item. I have emailed multiple times, over the last 11 months without resolution.Desired Settlement: I need a full refund, if I received the item at this point I would resent having it in my home after such a terrible experience.

I placed an order on July 14,2015 for 2 items and added an item August 23,2015 totaling $368. I started inquiring about my order on October 29, 2015 then again on November 4, 2015 when I finally received a response that she had been having personal issues but that the items were coming. I have emailed, direct messaged on instagram as well as leaving comments on her post( which I hate doing but it did incite a response). I have contacted her December 7th and 9th with no response. After leaving a comment on her post December 15th she responded that she had the order marked as shipped on Dec.4th and check my spam for tracking. Checked spam... no tracking. She responded that she would look into it and get back to me which never happened. I have continued to request information with no response. on December 20th I left a comment on a post to which she responded that she set an alarm to look into it,again no follow through. She quickly deletes all comments made on her post I assume in order for other customers to be unknowing of her poor business practices. At this point she deletes all comments I leave with no response and all of my emails have been ignored.I will add that I have been patient and understanding and have never commented anything rude or disrespectful on her page.As an artist myself I understand the time an artist needs to create and that life can throw curve balls but I am a hard working person and $368 is a good chunk of money! The frustration of having to chase my order has caused me a fair amount of stress and time. One of the items was supposed to be a birthday gift... and then a christmas gift... Her work is beautiful but her business practices are abhorrent. She does a disservice to the small business community that works so hard to get consumers to shop small business. At least with a corporate business I would have recourse and be able to get my items or a refund. Judging by social media some people get the items they order...Lucky for them! It's not worth taking the chance when there are other great and reliable artist out there!

We ordered from Halona Glass ($300 purchase) and never received the products. The owner, [redacted], never responded to any emails or constant attempts at contacting her. She has been active on her social media accounts but will not respond to us.

Review: I ordered from Halona Glass back August of last year. Since then dozens of emails have been sent and I've gotten a response to 3 of them. I was told first my item was on back order, even though the website said ready to ship in a week when I ordered. When I didn't receive it I emailed and got nothing for weeks until the owner responded that she didn't know what happened and would be sending another. I was told [redacted] would send me order information and then I was told with her moving (her shop is now in Indiana) that things got messed up. The last email I received was telling me again, right before Christmas that it was being sent. Since then I've emailed every week and get no reponse.

I was looking online and see there have been other instances of fraud or of people not recieveing what they ordered and they get excuses and ir goes on just long enough that a refund from [redacted] can't be obtained. It was only $18 or $20 after shipping, but it's clear from social media and online reviews this happens often.Desired Settlement: I want what I paid for. I will not get a refund now because it has been so long but I want what I ordered or something comparable to price.

People should be warned of business owners like this.

Review: After ordering two pieces totally $134 from the seller and never receiving them, I contacted her via email. She claimed to have sent it to the wrong person and had to wait for them to ship the items back. When shipped back, she claimed the items were broken and needed repair. After having a clear flow of emails, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and waited to receive my items. After hearing and receiving nothing, I tried contacting her again with no response. Multiple emails later, I finally heard back from her after emailing her through a different source, her website, and she claimed she would refund the money. I did not receive the money and sent her a request via [redacted]. Since I waited too long for her to send me the items, I could not file a claim through [redacted] and have already tried with the Internet Crime Complaint Center and got nothing. I have many emails and [redacted] statements with proof that she did not send me the items or the money. All I asked is to be refunded, but now she completely ignores my emails all together. I just want my money back.Desired Settlement: $134 via [redacted]

Review: I commissioned [redacted] (stained glass artist) to create two class pyramids for me. I originally contacted her via email, on Dec. 28 2012.She agreed to do the two pieces, we discussed size and shape and settled on a design on January 22, 2013. She invoiced me for $228 which I paid using my [redacted] account.

For several months after I paid her, she made claims that she was backed up on orders, etc and it wouldn't be long before she got to mine. I continued to contact her via text periodically to make sure I wasn't forgotten about, and when another friend of mine in SF received a piece she had ordered way after mine, I contacted [redacted] again. Here is a basic run down of our communication:

March 31, 2013 I requested a tracking number for my order.

April 21 I contacted [redacted] asking about my order

April 29 I requested a refund, she said she was shipping them that day.

May 14 I requested a tracking number again, she said they were sent to the wrong state

May 25 I requested a refund, she said she switched bank accounts and it would take a few days

June 11 I requested a refund again, she asked me to be patient

January 9, 2014 I requested a refund, she said she would issue it.

February 11 I filed a [redacted] dispute but it was past their window to file a dispute

February 18 Halona Glass told me they issued a refund through [redacted], which is undocumented and I never received.

After Feb. 18 none of my emails or texts requesting further information and refund were answered.Desired Settlement: $228 refund.
