I continued reaching out to the company to no avail until I mentioned having my attorney contact them. We were rudely handled stating that the Sofa was being replaced and that I didn't LISTEN. I asked when it would be replaced and was told by Mr. Hamilton that he did not know and would get back with...

me the following day. When he did NOT contact me, I contacted him and told him I would call every day until the items I purchased were sitting safely and undamaged in my home. I have don't just that. As of Thursday, He said the sofa will be another ten days. This is something I have been told since MAY of 2014. I am hoping he comes through, but the matter has not been resolved. I found a merchant face book page with reviews and I posted my own unfavorable review on that thread. I had SEVERAL other customers start messaging me with the same exact story... I was appalled thinking I was an isolated case for so long, but now learning this is simply how they conduct their business, it makes me feel foolish for not checking into their business before purchase. I am still waiting on a resolution from Hamilton Enterprises, INC.

Review: I paid for my furniture in full in October 2015. I asked that it be delivered in mid December, I was told it would take 7 days to be delivered. Two out of the four pieces I ordered was delivered over a month later. I continuously called about my other two pieces, I was told that should be coming within a week. It has been over a month with no communication from them as far as a delivery date. I went to their business to request a refund, I was told I could not recieve a refund, but I could change my order to something that would be delivered faster. After paying $42 extra, I was then told my dinning room table and chairs would be delivered Tuesday January 27,2015, I called Thursday morning and was told I would be called right back. I have not received my furniture or a call updating me on any changes. Desired Settlement: I wish to be refunded my $448 for my dinning room table and chairs, and $99 for coffee table

Review: I made a purchase 3/25/14 and was told 4-6 weeks for delivery. well its june20 and still no furniture. I call 2-3times a week and get nothing resolved. I went back to the store and asked for my money back. the lady had a horrible attitude.they refused to give me my money. so I had to settle for something that I didn't order because they said they couldn't give me a date for my original purchase.they claimed it was in stock so because I was tired of waiting I agreed. yet in still the "in stock" item is still not here and it been two weeks. they are very unprofessional and lie about true delivery timesDesired Settlement: refund

Review: I purchased 3008.00 of furniture with them on 2/2015 after paying for the order I was told it'll take 4-6 weeks. After 10 weeks and not receiving my furniture they refused to refund my money. So I notified my bank they tried fighting them for my money or furniture with no luck. The staff has a very nasty attitudes including owner. It's now July and bank said I have to work something out with the company to get my funiture. They didn't have everything in stock when I went there. So they let my order new funitute in which I ask for furniture thats in stock so I won't have to wait. I was told the furniture will be in in a few days now they making up stories as usual of why the furniture not here. They won't come to the phone when you call and have bad attitudes when you go into the office. I need my furniture I'm sleeping on the floor because they told me it was coming in a few days now they won't talk to me.Desired Settlement: I would like for my furniture to come now. If not give me back my money.

Review: On July 2nd, 2012 my husband and I when to Hamilton Enterprises to purchase appliance for our home. on one of those appliance a PESS2MIVSS French Door Style Refrigerator was back order and not delivery on time. They assure my husband and I that in short time we were going to have our refrigerator and to this day we have nothing. They are giving us the run around and dont want to even give me a refund.Desired Settlement: I want to have the refrigerator delievy as promise, or my money back equal the amount of the style of the refrigerator I desire on day one.Please asssist help me to get this resolve!!

Review: Ordered a sofa set on March 7,2015. We were told the product would be delivered to us by the end of March or early April. We paid in full. We have called many times, left messages, and went to place of business. No concrete info of when our furniture will come in. We believe the place of business cashes customers' checks and waits for a large enough shipment before placing the order. Desired Settlement: We want our furniture that we ordered and paid in full for. There is a minimum 15% restocking fee that will occur if we cancel our order. We really just want the sofa set that took us a long time to find.

Review: Approximately 2 years ago, my wife and I selected several rooms of furniture at Hamilton Enterprise. We placed a down payment on the furniture and financed the remainder. After aproximately a year later we received a dinette set, a padded storage chest, 3 sets of blinds and a bedroom set. After waiting so long, we cancelled 2 remaning bedroom sets, living room and den furniture. The bedroom set we received was smaller than pictured(width and depth of drawers) at time of purchase and it was agreed that we could order another set, pay the difference and exchange it. We were promised that this would only take 3 - 4 weeks at the most. It has been approximately another year and we have yet to receive it. We were promised 6 sets of blinds for being patient but never received them either. We were told that the furniture would ship when the company had a truck load of orders to send to this area. On top of this we continued to pay the finance company and finally got Hamilton to credit the account that was over paid by this time. We were issued a refund check from Synchrony Bank(financing company) and then informed that they credited the account too much and we still owed the finance company and a remaining amount to Hamilton. I also continue receving harassing phone calls from Synchrony Bank at least 2 -3 times a week. The total financed amount was split between my wife and myself on 2 seperate accounts. Dates and exact amounts are available if needed.Desired Settlement: We would like the bedroom set that we selected delivered along with the blinds we were promised for being extremely patient, imediately. Normally it would take 3 weeks for delivery according to 2 other sources. I think that for the inconvenience and time involved there should be no balance left to Synchrony Bank or Hamilton Enterprise.

Review: We ordered and paid for a sofa and two chairs through Hamilton Enterprises in March 2014. Through many many phone conversations and excuses, it wasnt until April 2015 that my sofa was delivered. The chairs werent delivered until a month after that. Leather on sofa was torn and crinkled on the side of the sectional. Also the framework is broken. This was documented by the delivery person, the Sales Person AND Mr. Hamilton himself. It is now MAY 2015 and no repairs or schedules for repairs have been done. This hasw become an serious issue and I am no longer willing to tolerate this type of service any longer. The entire purchase was roughly $3000. I would like the reapirs done or a full refund so that I may find something elsewhere with a higher integrity for customer service. I will never use this company again for any product or service and I do not reccomend others to as well.Desired Settlement: I would like it repaired or replaced. If this is not able to happen in 30 days, I am seeking a full refund and they are welcome to come to pick up their sofa and chairs.

Review: Since June 13, 2015 and after a month and a half of phone calls (at least the ones they answer), I still have not received the furniture which has been paid for nor can anyone provide me with an actual date that they will receive it in their warehouse. I continuously get the run around regarding the date that they will receive it for the manufacturer. I have been provide with numerous promises of dates that receipt of delivery will be made to them (warehouse) yet none followed through. Never mind the fact that I was told the item was in stock at the other warehouse in Harahan and would be delivered on June 15, 2015 (of course that didn't happen) nor did anyone bother to call me to info me that the item had to be ordered. We did obtain that information until after I called regarding the delivery which was to take place one again June 15, 2015. After numerous attempts to get an update on my "back order" In addition to all of this unprofessionalism they never return a phone call nor follow up as they say they will. Not to mention they are blatant liars and will do so directly to your face even with evidence in hand that they are lying (I was planning to take the mattress and box spring which they had in stock at the time I paid for them home the same day but they would not fit in my vehicle. So I made arrangements to drive some ten to fifteen miles obtain a truck but decided before I left the parking lot of the store (not 5 mins. later) that it didn't make sense to have them come all the way to Slidell to deliver just the headboard two days later so I called from the car in the parking lot and told them that they could deliver the mattress and box spring with the headboard but Lisa their employee says I called and hour later. Doesn't matter the wonderful thing about cellphones is that all calls are time stamped on your phone bill. Desired Settlement: Guaranteed delivery (by July 29, 2015) in writing to my home of all items which have been paid for, a billing adjustment for the inconvenience and continued delay or a full refund for all items (mattress, box spring and headboard) And an apology from Lisa for lying to me in my face (which my cellphone records prove the time of my call on July 13, 2015.

Review: came in ordered mattress with financing did not know when I got it 5 days later it would be a used store model was assured by the store manager would make it right asked to keep mattress over night until I could get the right one was assured it was a mix up I nver heard from them again except when I called after days of calling and having the mattress set against my wall 3days later went to see what was going on and where was the right mattress at this time I figured they were doing shady dealings and I informed this to the third party finances company and after givung them two weeks to make it right with no response I told them cancel the contract theysaid I had to speak with finances company they didnt want anything to do with me so went there with the finance company on the phone they come up with together you gotta pay to get out the contract a "re stocking fee" for a nasty dirty mattress they gave according to theresa who sold it to me so by this time a month later I don't have extra money because there already taking out the finance charges every month and so were going around for months until I finally save the money last week because the finance and hamiltons assured me once I went to pay the restocking fee I would be reimbursed all my payments in 48 hrs so last week finally got the money they tell me i'm past my 90 days I cant cancel which I was never told only knoe if I didnt fulfill my 90days same as cash would have to pay almost 2 grand and I was ok with that if I couldnt get it all in a timely manner and granted I had a new product so now the store says get out we dont have any business with you and the company says I have to pay the remander of almost 2000 for air no product that I dont have never had dont want and there all getting paid them of 2grand and the furniture store making the money twice off a dirty white mattress with a tan mattress they done since resold and gotten paid from the finance company I know this is not right!Desired Settlement: contract cancelled and all my money returned within the next 2weeks

Review: I ordered a dresser on 1/31/2013. It was a special order and was paid for in full at the time the order was placed.I as told at the time the dresser was available and it would be six to eight weeks for delivery.I have been given many reason why I have not received the dresser I ordered. On 03/03/2014 I relucantly agreed to take a different dresser that was not really what I wanted. I was told at the time that it would be in an about a week. I was again given many reasons why I have not received my merchandise. On 06/02/2014 I has told the dresser was at the port and I would have it By 06/16/2014. I called today 06/25/2014 and was again given an excuse. When I called on 06/02/2014 I informed the young man I spoke to that if my dresser was not at in my home by the 06/16/2014 I wanted my money refunded. This has gone on for 17 months and I want a full refund.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund.

Review: I ordered a bedroom set and dining room set with chairs and counter stools in August 2015. I paid in full with my debit card. I have been told by the owner Lisa hamilton that my furniture is sitting in a warehouse in St. Rose since November 28, 2015. I still haven't received anything. She lied and told me my furniture was going to be delivered on Christmas Eve, but when the delivery driver came, it wasn't my furniture. I asked her why she lied and she told me that she couldn't get my furniture out of the warehouse. I have been asking for a refund since September but she told me no on several occasions. I have complained to the Justice of Peace, who referred me to the police. But I will still be without my furniture or my money and an empty house. She has no concern for her customers because if she did she would have given me my money back. She has done this to at least 40 customers and it was featured on the local news.Desired Settlement: I want a refund because I know she doesn't have the furniture and she is just buying time.
