Hamilton Properties Corporation

After working onsite as a property manager for several years I was promoted to regional manager/ LIHTC compliance officer. I was thrilled. However upon arrival I was thrown to the wolves with no training. The mostly younger ladies in the office are back biting, out for themselves and non supportive, not because they do it on purpose, they just do not posess the emotional intelligence. The elderly ladies were up in everones business except for their own and huge brown nosers. The other regional manager rarely took calls from her managers in desperate need of help and so I helped them as they would come to me. She just stared at her phone when it wrang and climbed as far up the owners daughters but as far as was allowed which was basically just a a wat to take advantage and enlist her as a personal assistant. There was no structure or organization to this corporate office just people running around trying to put out their own fires that they themselves caused and let smolder. I gave notice to leave mid Nov 2022 and took approved earned and paid vacation early Dec in which I became very ill with the flu. My supervisor forgot I was on vacation and asked me to work from home. I had to remind her that not only
was I on vacation I was just plain too sick. Now, my job was key in effectively running this office as we have to manage low income programs and continually answer to the state. The procrastination was palpable. No one ever thought it prudent to learn my job and when I was too ill still to return at the end of my vacation when they informed me my 1st day back would be training someone instead of allowing me to adjust and catch up I simply ended my employment at that time which was three weeks notice. They had already issued year end bonuses but purposefully and extremely pettily recinded mine and refused to mail it. Im sure they all had a good laugh. Now while I can do without their 150.00 I can write about the absolute ridiculousness of it. I would have never written this if not for this petty act. The owner of this company is a good man and overall good and caring family. But really, grow up Marty.
