About weeks after a Happy tech had given my unit the $inspection, the furnace wouldn't start up on the first cool morningI called Happy the next day and they sent [redacted] over in a couple hoursHe quickly found the problem, a blower wire had broken off inside a wire nut, something that isn't evident just by lookingA quick fix, and he did not charge me for the service callThat's how you create a satisfied customer

[redacted] came out this morning arriving right on time and performed my semi-annual serviceHe did a great job, explaining things before, during and after checking things outProvided me a written list of what is important, what would be a good idea for the near future and things nice to haveHe was not pushy and let me decide what I wanted to doI have had several bad experiences over the years and I would be happy to have [redacted] out again

Happy Cooling and Heating is a very professional company and their field technicians explain everything that they will do to your HVAC system They are friendly and put on booties when they com in the house The best HVAC company in Tucson and I have had the experience of seevral other companies who just take your money and do very little

The removal of an old cooling unit, and the installation of a new A/C and furnace, have been done professionally and without unnecessary delay Communication with all personnel at Happy Cooling & Heating, LLC has been excellent Past experiences with this company and its technicians, going back years, have also been excellent I prefer staying with a business that has shown courtesy and professionalism I don't shop around for 'bargains.' If the experience is excellent, I don't need to look around for bargains

An excellent company. We first saw his head in the Arizona Daily Star.. [redacted] came out and explained the entire process to us. He answered our questions in a professional and respectful manner. [redacted] the company\'s field supervisor was excellent. He completed the install in two days as promised, and explained to us how the heating and air units worked. He also programmed our thermostat for us and was very patient and understanding. He carefully cleaned everything up and even caulked around the entrance to our attic. That was a nice extra touch. I too heard the advertisement on talk radio; the "show" was already in progress, so I did not realize it was like an infomercial Thinking the chewas a good idea I called in and set an appointment The technician "Andrew" was polite and was accompanied by the owner who said he was doing a check for TEP on efficiency of my unit (put in by me years ago)
The owner drilled some holes in my ductwork to take readings He said that my unit was OVERcharged with freon and should have some freon released When asked, he said that there would be a fee for doing so
After Andrew took min or so, he came back with a full page of recommended service items hand written on a lined notepad He said I could be on their maintenance plan or club ? and would receive a discount for services (15% ?)
I asked for a copy of the sheet and I would get other bids and they declined They asserted that certain services would put my unit into it's peak performance
Also, when Andrew removed a part from the main housing, my gas line was causing a bind and the owner remarked immediately that I had a gas leak They left the line in "off" position When we had our proposal discussion they wanted to charge me $to repair it
The owner stated that it could have been leaking for some time I agreed that it could, however, I claimed that likely there was no leak prior to their visit and that I should not have to pay to fix it
After some time, the owner did offer to fix it and I accepted I could have easily have spent OVER $4,if I had elected to do all of their recommendations on the proposal
Even though the infomercial claims they do not sell services that the customer does not need, they certainly OFFER lots of services that I did not feel warranted This reminds me of going to get my oil changed on a $coupon and the shop tries to upset me on lots of services
I wasted several hours of my time plus the $for the "pleasure" of a sales pitch
Oh and I told them that I had looked them up on the Arizona Registrar of Contractors website as well as Revdex.com and that the complaints on Revdex.com were exactly the same as my experience The owner said that it was the same person who complained more than once and that he had removed the complaint I told him that the complaint(s) were still there

I would not recommend using Happy Heating and CoolingThe original service technician that came out to service and check our heat pumps missed a major problem, which in turn cost us a lot of money in electricity while we continued to scratch our heads on what could be causing the problem ( we even replaced our water heater thinking that could be the cause) Finally we called Happy Heating and cooling back out and the service technicians found a missed problem right awayIt was a part that had arched and welded itself in place and we can pinpoint on our power bill when this must have happened so we know the first service technician missed itThe second tech did a good job and made the problem better by fixing it for free, even though that didn't cover even close to the entire cost of the mistake for us it made us happy enoughI would not have even written this review had I not had another conversation with the owner when he told me that the original guy no longer worked for him, and the second guy should not have done our repair for free and he didn't approve thatI'm sorry, but the tech you hired didn't do his job or didn't have the right knowledge to diagnose our problem and we trusted that opinion, costing us a lot of moneyThe LEAST that should have been done is what your second technician didGive him a raise and make sure to be more careful who you hire in the futureYou are responsible for your employees work as a licensed professional

Purchased a new a/c and heating system to replace my old unit for my house. Happy cooling and heating arrived the next day and completed the job the same. J D Virgil explained in great detail all the different a/c and heating systems and I felt confident about their service. They guarantee their work. They are honest and trustworthy. Many years of expert experience which is what I was looking for.

I found [redacted] very knowledgeable and polite. He came on time and told me how long it would be to clean the blower wheels and assembly. [redacted] works clean and neat and reassembled everything, and completed the two hour service in the time span he said it would be.

I would recommend this company to anyone who wants effective, experienced and efficient technician [redacted].

The technician, [redacted] was very courteous, informative and professional. He did a thorough job of inspecting my heating and cooling systems and then offered some options for ongoing maintenance and repaired two parts. He was quiet and unobtrusive while in my home, and I appreciated the information he gave me.

We contacted this company for another opinion prior to being told we needed a new furnace. A quick response and repair was done in an efficient manner. It was several weeks ago and we have experienced unusually cold weather and it is working fine. We appreciated the repair as the furnace was only 10 years old. The previous estimate to repair from another company had been $4000. Happy was less than half of that. We're happy too. [redacted] Tucson

On November 16, 2016, I had a appointment with Happy Cooling and Heating for their Heating tune-up special. [redacted] was my technician who show up. He was very respectful and started working on job. After he finish he explained how the heater was working. After his departure, I inspected his work and notice he didn't tape the opening where the air baffle plate was taken out above the heater. He also didn't clean the reusable filter to heater and didn't vacuum the rust debris inside the heater. I didn't check the cooler to see if he drain the water. I can't get on a ladder due to recent knee replacement. For been a potential new customer, I was surprise of the service I received. I guess you get what paid for.
