I have a consignment business and brought some of my clients pieces to be appraised and auctionedBy j levine auction houseFirst off the consignment agent I was working with kept putting off my meeting atleast times I finally went to there office and found my agent was there but he wouldn't meet me and mr.levine was also there and he also would not meet with me I left my items there ..a original [redacted] painting worth around to and many more pieces of great value but I was told to come down and pick up all my pieces of art and go and a bag of marbles was up on mr.levinrs web site for ten bucks so I quickly checked my items to find out my [redacted] painting had been switched out on me a robbery has accured I made a police report but nothing will be done this auction house is not a good place to deal with very very shady so be warned bad auction house

This company did not follow their contractThey promise payment in days and I have waited for over two monthsThey tell me the check is in the mail one time and the next they say there is a problem No one can answer my questions and they say someone will call which never happensCheck their reviews on [redacted] this seems to be their way of doing business

On August 20, I was the successful bidder on lot [redacted] at the JLevine Auction in Tempe, AZ It was a Southwestern pottery bowl, and I was invoiced for the $bid price, plus the $buyer's premiumOn August I remitted payment to J.Levine through PayPal (transaction [redacted] ) When I contacted an independent shipper to go pick up the item I had purchased, the shipper notified me that the item was not there to be picked up I have now contacted JLevine Auction Coby telephone times, and have talked to different representatives It has been a month since I purchased the item, and I have received no answer, response, refund, or explanation from JLevine Auction Co I opened a complaint with PayPal days ago, and JLevine has been contacted regarding that complaint, yet they have still refused any response, or refund

I consigned paintings with J Levine in February An auction was held March 26, All three of my paintings were sold Per our contract, and their website I was to receive payment for my paintings on or before business days following the auction I have not received payment

Delivery - Product - Sales Issues with this companyI have been emailing Jill at JLevine Auction House since December 10, to ask about my paid item and who I should contact to have it shippedOn December 24, I won another auction and paid for itI recently won an auction item and thought to email and ask about delivery of my items and where are they? Jill nor Andy, who is in charge of shipping, contact meJill and Andy both said that when they emailed me, it came back as undeliverable EVERY TIME THEY SENT ME AN EMAILI asked why nobody called me? Andy gets on the phone and says, "Didn't she tell you how much it was going to cost?! $ I said no, she didn't let me know anything about shipping Not only is communication and delivery a problem with this auction house, but they sell items from MarshallsThese items look old, but, whoops they forgot to take off all the tags! Why is an auction house auctioning off recent store bought merchandise without letting the bidder know about itIt wasn't in the descriptionWhat a racket! I want a full refund of all the Marshall items I pucrhased thinking they were vintageI'm never doing business with these people again!

J Levine has sold many of my home items and now I have been waiting to get paid They are past due on my payment of my funds I constantly call and email with no one ever calling me or emailing me back My patience with them is out which is why I am contacting you in hopes you can retrieve the money they owe me They constantly tell me that the accountant has to be contacted, then they dont have checks to send me moneyI find its nothing short of a constant run around to keep my money in hopes I will disappearI gave them my items, signed a contract in good faith they would pay me whats due and they have not fullfilled their end of this agreement by paying me

I sold a vehicle through J Levine's and it was a great experience There was no hassle, I set my minimum and was very pleased to receive my check in the mail shortly after the auction I highly recommend this place

This particular one in the contract for the auction stated Free delivery if purchased or more furniture items, which we did, way more than But when it was time for delivery Ally stated she made a mistake and there is no delivery and she is overworked and has to much dropped on her daily and won't honor free delivery You'd think that dollar delivery fee to keep great customers and honor your own auction contract would be the right thing to doThe more I read and learn of this auction house, the more I see they are running terrible practicesAlly needs a long vacation, maybe forever?

I purchased at item from this auction on 5/9/The medium of the item was listed as "Laquer on aluminum and chrome plated brass print"This artist did do some prints on metal and from the description listed, that's what I thought I was bidding onWhen I received the piece there was absolutely zero metalThe piece is on paper and has an element of two small areas of mylar (which is a thin plastic film) that appears shinyThere was absolutely ZERO laquer, or aluminum, or chrome, or brassThe auction house refused to return my moneyThey are crooks

In November of I entered into a contract with J Levine to auction various items of mineI started to receive checks for the proceeds of the “auctions” about two months after thatIn April, I started receiving emails from J Levine notifying me of items of mine that were going into “auction”The items listed were not mine and I reached out to J Levine
Suddenly in May, I started receiving checks for items that were not myWhen I contacted, J Levine, around the end of May 2017, they said they would investigate and get back to me
They have not contacted me and today, July, 24th 2017, I received another check for the “auction” of an item which is not mine
