Place 2 orders for the same thing on 9/9/15. One going to GA other to MI. Never received email invoice for GA order but that order shipped ok. Received duplicate invoices for MI but no shipment. Contacted retailer a month later (one guy on a cell phone) and gave order number and was told it might be back ordered and he would call me back when he got info on it. Never got a call back and just received shipment today 11/2/15 20 minutes ago. All 6 cans of Gorilla glue are beat all to [redacted] with packing paper in the top and bottom of the package and the cans loose in the box. What tells me they were that way when they were mailed was the invoice was literally crumpled into a ball and put in the box. Visually documented with photos.

I ordered a sump pump basin from these guys. Time was of the essents. They said it would arrive in 7 to 9 days. On the 9th buisness day I expected to find it on my door step. On the 10th buisness day they emailed me saying they no longer have this item in stock. Unbelievable! Information I could have used 10 buisness days earlier.

Very poor service. NO communication from vendor at time of purchase, either website verification or email. Order placed 8-11-15, finally got email 8-21-15 indicating item shipped. No tracking number regestered with USPS until 8-25-15.
This from the USPS site: "Your item arrived at our USPS origin facility in OPA LOCKA, FL 33054 on August 25, 2015 at 9:34 pm. The item is currently in transit to the destination."
this was after 2 emails and 4 phone calls, where I kept getting put on hold and the woman I spoke to yesterday, 8-25-15, was rater rude. Insisted on putting me on hold b/c the phone was ringing..Save your time and agravation and shop somewhere else.

On Thursday, 4/7/2016, I placed an order online at hardwareonlinestore.com (also doing business as Hanna Paint and Hardware [an Ace Hardware], 4343 N Andrews Ave. Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33309) for a 32 oz. bottle of Schultz All-Purpose Plant Food Liquid. That same day I received from them an email confirmation of my order (no. XXXXXX). The confirmation indicated the order status as "Confirmed" and the shipment method as "UPS - Standard 3-9 Business Days".

By Thursday, 4/21/2016, (2 full weeks or 10 business days after order placement) I had not received my order nor any notification of shipment or tracking number as is customary so I emailed HOS - HardwareOnlineStore inquiring as to the status of my order and requested a UPS shipment tracking number.

By the next day, 4/22/2016, I had not receive a response so I emailed them again.

On 4/23/2016 I received an email from HOS - HardwareOnlineStore indicating that the order was shipped that day via USPS Priority and included a tracking number. No explanation or apology as to the cause for the two week delay.

On 4/25/2016 I received my order. I was not at all pleased that the bottle had leaked drastically and had completely saturated the packing slip taped around the bottle and had turned it completely green from the liquid plant food's dye. The outside of the bottle and the inside of the shipping envelope were wet and sticky with liquid plant food. The leak was readily apparent even before opening the shipping envelope. The address label was smeared from being wet and there was a smell of ammonia from the fertilizer. After examining the level of remaining contents in the bottle I estimate that approximately 20% of the 32 ounces of liquid fertilizer had leaked out.

The cause of the leak was apparently due to their decision to ship it via 2 day USPS Priority Mail which required shipment in an unpressurized cargo hold of an airplane (Florida to California). The low pressure at high altitude caused the higher internal pressure of the bottle to expand, rupture the seal, and leak extensively. Not a wise decision. The original order stated and I paid for UPS ground delivery ($13.77) not expedited air delivery. Even if they had shipped it UPS Ground as they were supposed to it was not a wise decision to package a quart bottle in only a padded envelope.

That same day, 4/25/2016, I sent them another email describing the condition of the order I received. After a full week, 5/2/2016, still no response.

I have found HOS - HardwareOnlineStore to be the antithesis of customer satisfaction. They ignored my order for two weeks and only shipped it after my emails. They offered no explanation or apology. They used extremely poor judgement in selecting a shipping method that caused the leak. They are ignoring my email describing the unsatisfactory condition of my order received.

When a tool I purchased made by this company malfunctioned, I wrote them a letter asking for suggestions on how to fix it. They never answered my E-mail.

I had ordered some pool floties for my pool! No one had them. They were out of stock everywhere. I found the at HOS at a very good price. I had a lady that took my order. She was very helpful & said it would take 3-9 business days to ship & I got them a week after! Love them, I'm very happy & would buy from them again

Sent wrong product. 2 emails not answered.Phone calls resulted in 2 or 3 hang ups. Hope it has been credited to my account.

Stay away from this place! I ordered a small $3.89 item and was socked $12.21 for shipping from Ft. Lauderdale to Clearwater. Tried to cancel but no customer service available. NEVER AGAIN will I order anything from Hardware Online Store.

Hardware on Line Shipping Terms and Conditions commits to longer delivery times than any other on-line store I have dealt with in 20 plus years. They cannot deliver two bucket brushes from Florida to Pennsylvania in 10 days yet charge over $11 for a shipment that UPS, Fedex, and USPS concur qualifies for maximum 5-day delivery. There are no tracking numbers, no notification of how and when an item actually ships and by what shipping service. Yet they charge the credit card within minutes of receiving the order. I do not believe my item was in stock or shipped as of this date September 4, 2016.
