I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Ok, since Hariworld has disregarded all of the information that I have provided, I will try again.  I called ###-###-#### and spoke with [redacted] who told me they use the name "Instant Ticket Desk." I first contacted them on May *, 2015 and when they answer they just say reservations and when I asked was it [redacted] I was told yes. [redacted] said my  e-ticket is [redacted].  Now, I don't care how many times you say you were not paid $491.73 by [redacted] creditcard using my account number you are incorrect.  [redacted] has shown me the proof and I have faxed the invoice to Revdex.com.  Also regardless of what you call yourself in relations to the public I have confirmation by [redacted] that Hariworld was sold a ticket/reservation for me on May *, 2015 under confirmation # [redacted] for $346.73.  At no time was I told by Instant Desk who all along led me to believe I was talking to [redacted], tell  I would be charged a service fee.  I was simply told the cheapest ticket on May * to my destination was $491.73, which I have since found out was  not true.  The cheapest ticket was $346.73 which Hariworld bought it for.  I am an able minded person with excellent credit and would never pay anyone to make a reservation for them when I could make it myself by dialing the phone, and to be charged $145 without my knowledge is inexcusable.  The problem I had is the number for Travel Desk who you obviously work with, their number came up when I googled for [redacted].  I find this strange but am now hearing from others it happens often on the internet. Finally again I request a check for $145.00 be sent to me from Hariworld.  I am not dealing with any of your cohorts as you are the one [redacted] paid.  [redacted]

I went to [redacted] to book a flight reservation. I called the number. I like to speak with someone. I was suspicious of the first call I made and told the agent that I would call Delta.
I thought I was speaking with a Delta rep for a reservation to travel to northern Wisconsin in July. I booked the flight and was given a price. I sent an email confirming that I would pay 496.70 for the flight and 127.00 for the booking fee(??). My card was billed $20 more. I requested a refund, twice. I finally went to [redacted] and apparently this has been a problem. This company misrepresented itself as a Delta rep and took my money. All I wanted was a $20 refund over and above what I agreed to pay. So this is now credit card fraud. And if I cancel there is a $200 change fee. This company misrepresented themselves, overcharged my card and is not reputable. I'm stuck. I have to pay it but I've let Delta know about my experience. This will never happen again. Take it for what it's worth. Delta is now perusing this matter and if I don't get a cent back at least anyone who reads about my experience is warned. Delta sympathizes and will take care of me once I board. Don't let this happen to you.

When I looked up the phone number for [redacted] on line, the number listed was [redacted].  When I called that number on 2/*/15,  "[redacted]" answered and at no time did he identify himself as a travel agent.  He led me to believe that I was talking to an agent of [redacted].  I explained to [redacted] that I am the wife of [redacted] and was ordering a round trip ticket for him from Harrisburg, PA to Omaha, NE.  At no time did either [redacted] or I mention any travel agency.  Why would a travel agency be involved if I called the airline directly to book my husband's ticket?  I still think "[redacted]" committed fraud by giving my credit card information to Hariworld.  He never sent me a receipt like I requested.  BTW, when I called back to United on 2/*/15 to again request a receipt, it was emailed to me immediately.  I find it interesting to note that the receipt lists $403.70 for the price of the ticket plus $90.00 for "taxes and fees."  Isn't it odd that the bogus charge of $90 from Hariworld Travel is the amount shown on my receipt as taxes and fees? Bari world travel agency NewYork puts the highway rubbery to shame, they charged me about $1100 over the actual economy seat ticket and added another $800 for agent service. They pretended to be the airline's that I was trying to reachable. They never told me that they are a travel agency or there will be an additional $800 charge added to the already inflated ticket price. I will be sending my complaint to Federal Consumer Protection Agency and New York Revdex.com.
If you have $1900 extra to throw away over an economy airline ticket then you should deal with Hari world Travel Agency (Hari Highway rubbery world travel in my book).

Attached herewith, please find where Hariworld withdrew $352.60 for United Airlines and $105.00 to Hariworld, as their commission from my First Security Bank account in[redacted]. My confirmation for the flight was [redacted], March **, 2015 at 10:58 a.m., United Airlines UA [redacted] to Chicago, IL and March **,2015 at 1:25 p.m., United Airlines Flight UA 3620, leaving from Chicago, IL to Syracuse, NY. The agent even told me what time I was flying back on Sunday at 4:45 p.m.. I evene-mailed [redacted] of Hariworld, [redacted] and his wife via e-mail, however, no response. These agents speak very poor English, however, he knew that this was because myniece died and it was for her funeral that I was going. Looking on the internet earlier, I found a ticket cheaper, however, I had to drive to transfer money into my bank accountthat I was using. My daughter had to purchase me a ticket back home, plus paid for another one back to Syracuse in June for a family reunion and only paid $419.00, which isalso attached.

Review: I used Hariworld to purchase some airline tickets. 3 days after the purchase they contacted me to let me know that they do not accept third party credit cards and were canceling the tickets. The fact that they do not accept third party credit cards is not clear in the booking/payment process. It is buried way deep in their terms/conditions. Instead of offering a solution they just canceled the tickets. Then they offered a solution that was significantly more than the original ticket price.

Under their own terms, they were supposed to let me know of any problems with 24 hours of the booking. They failed to honor their own promise.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for $200, the difference between the old tickets and the new tickets.

Review: I searched the internet for [redacted] Airways and some how the 800 number ###-###-#### came up. Never used [redacted] before so I proceeded. A man answered I asked is this [redacted] because I did not understand his introduction, and he said yes. Said I wanted to make travel reservations DC to Martha's Vineyard in August. He said he could help. I had a vague idea of the travel because I had discussed the best way to travel there with AARP travel back in January, but was not ready that early and did not want to use a 3rd party anymore when I can call directly. AARP said price should be $300-360. When the person on the phone said the cheapest ticket on May * was $491 I asked if this was right, he insisted and I want this trip so I said ok. I then found out when I rec'd [redacted] statement $491 was from "Hariworld travel and said agent fee" first confused but figured out it related to Jet Blue travel but perhaps was not [redacted]. I called [redacted] and they confirmed this was a 3rd party and they could not help me but the reservations were in place and they sold the ticket to Hariworld for $346.73. Hariworld added $145.73 to my cost. They falsified who they were and charged an exorbitant fee. If they had explained they were an agent but could help me with travel I would have said No thanks, I can call myself. [redacted] and friends said they have heard of different numbers coming up on internet when you put in a name. I am disappointed and furious that I was scammed by Hariworld for their misrepresentation and extra fee. I am a senior citizen don't travel that much but certainly can't afford to be scammed. To think I paid $491.73 for a $346.73 fare. I called Hariworld 5/** I ask about them using [redacted]'s name, they refused to give their name and hung up on me. I kept calling, talked to someone and after explaining my call, asked for refund or difference in [redacted] fee and theirs he said No to both. So I am asking for assistance to get the extra money back. $145.73.Desired Settlement: I request $145.73 the amount I was overcharged. [redacted] actually told me to alert Revdex.com since they could not help with a 3rd party complaint. I also have a copy from [redacted] which showed the actual fare that Hariworld was charged by the Airlines. I had decided after the last time I used a travel agent because of confusion with a 3rd party that I would always go directly to the airline I choose to travel with. Now I am caught in the situation. Please assist.

No this answer is not acceptable. I have my [redacted] bill that indicates they paid $491.73 on 5/*/15 to HariworldNY [redacted] and [redacted] has given me an invoice where they sold a ticket for my confirmation #[redacted] to Hariworld travel for $346.73. So if Hariworld does not have my money I want to know who they passed it to because [redacted] CLEARLY PAID HARIWORLD. At no time was I told I was dealing with an agent or a filler or whatever title Hariworld is using. [redacted] staff has also confirmed to me that they sold a reservation/ticket to Hariworld using the conf # above for the cost of $346.73. So if Hariworld paid someone else then Hariworld needs to refund the $145.73 to me and get whatever money they believe they are owed from the other party they are referring to. And NO I don't want to wait to see if Hariworld can contact this so called person/company that they say must have worked with me. I want to deal directly with Hariworld thru Revdex.com because all the info that I have pertains to Hariworld. thank you, [redacted]

Review: On 2/*/15, I contacted [redacted] directly at [redacted] to order a plane ticket for my husband ([redacted]) to travel from Harrisburg, PA to Omaha, NE and back. I talked to a man at United who identified himself as "[redacted]". I charged the ticket to my [redacted] card that I have with [redacted]. After the ticket was ordered, I asked [redacted] to email a receipt to me. He said I would find it in my email within 24 hours. After two days, there was still no receipt, so I called United back at the same number. I talked to "[redacted]" who immediately sent a receipt to my email box. On 3/*/15 when I received my [redacted] statement there was a charge for $403.70 for the ticket plus a charge of $90 identified as "Agent Fee [redacted]" On that same day, I call [redacted] and talked to [redacted]. She said I should call United to have them reverse the $90 charge. I called United directly to find our why I was charged for a travel agency fee. I did not use a travel agent. I am not a travel agent and never have been. I asked United to reverse the charge. Amy told me that I was charged $90 because Hariworld Travel Agency booked my husband's ticket. I tried to explain that I ordered the ticket directly from United, but she said she could only tell me what the computer said. I immediately called [redacted] back and talked to "[redacted]" who said she couldn't help me, but she transferred me to "[redacted] in the Billing Disputes Department. [redacted] said he would file a dispute for me and send me a letter in 7-10 days, but it might take up to 90 days to have the $90 charge removed from my [redacted] account. I didn't feel comfortable with the answers I got from United or [redacted], so I called our local police department. I explained my problem to Dispatcher #8 who referred my call to [redacted] called me back after conferring with his colleagues about my problem. He advised me to contact you folks at Revdex.com.org. He also said that any one of the three people that I talked to at [redacted] should have cancelled my account and issued me new cards with new numbers since Hariworld in NY has my number.Desired Settlement: [redacted] will deduct the $90.00 charge made by Hariworld Travel. They will also send me a new credit card with new account numbers.

United will investigate to find out how a travel agency in NY got my credit card information. I suspect that the man from United who identified himself as "[redacted]" when I ordered the ticket on 2/*/15 sold my credit card information to Hariworld. That's probably why he never sent me the receipt I requested.

Hariworld will be investigated to determine how they got my credit card information and why they billed me for a service I never received.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.[redacted], No I don't want to escalate my case with Hariworld to a a government case. In fact, there has been a recent development. Late yesterday (3/*/15), [redacted] from Hariworld called me and explained that when I thought I was calling [redacted], I had actually called Hariworld. He said I never asked to talk to [redacted]. (Of course, I wouldn't ask to talk to United because I thought I was talking to someone from there since I called the number that came up when I [redacted] them.) [redacted] added that Hariworld was going to refund the $90 that I was charged. I thanked him for returning my money and added that I still felt like his travel agency scammed me. A short time later [redacted] from Hariworld called me and explained that when I [redacted], I was given choices to click on. I clicked on "cheap seats" since I wanted coach as opposed to a first class seat. [redacted] said when I clicked on cheap seats, I was given the phone number of Hariworld Travel, not [redacted] like I was led to believe since at no time did the name "Hariworld" or "travel agency" appear on my screen. Just before I answered this email, I clicked on [redacted] and the words "cheap seats" was no longer on their site. I guess United and/or Hariworld realized at least one person (me) would not tolerate this deception. Although my case was successfully settled, I can't help but to wonder how many others have been scammed in the past, or if United/Hariworld will do the same thing again in the future. One more thing: Since [redacted] said they would remove the $90.00 charge from my bill, I told [redacted] that the $90.00 from Hariworld has to go to [redacted] because they had already compensated me for Hariworld's scam. Is there any way you can follow-up on this to make sure it happens? BTW, after another call to [redacted], they are cancelling my account, opening a new one, and sending me new cards. Thank you for everything you have done for me in resolving this fraudulent charge by Hariworld. I don't think I could have unraveled it without your help. [redacted]

Sincerely,

Review: I recently booked a flight for air transportation with Hariworld Travels. To my dismay, I did not receive what I was confirmed to receive and that is a non-stop flight from [redacted] to [redacted]. The customer service representative I spoke with assured me this would be for a direct flight with no stops. I paid the extra of $161.60 for the flight as he stated " This extra amount guarantees the reservation for the the non-stop flight he would reserve as the ticket price was $489.20. I had been waiting for the ticket info.in which he assured he would get to me within days before the flight but just only today; June [redacted], 2015 did I receive that information as I had to go through the loops of retrieving it through my bank and with no communication from the travel agency as promised.Next, after finding my flight information when I opened up my flight itinerary I realized I had paid a total of $978.40 for 2 tickets that I expected to pay for my daughter and I. However, realized this was with one layover to and and one layover from our destination. I was very upset about this as I had requested to have direct flights primarily because I am traveling alone with my daughter and only paid the additional $161.60 because the agent promised a non-stop flight. Ultimately, on the statement that fee is noted as an "Agent Fee" that I know nothing about. Although I expected to see an additional fee it was not for what was promised and assured, "A Non-Stop Flight."Desired Settlement: I would like the fee of $161.60 refunded to me as the service was not provided as stated by the travel agency customer service representative. I was expecting non-stop flights for the additional $161.60 I paid and was reassured by the representative there were no stops. I am very disappointed with the service and lack of communication. I feel that this is justified.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: First of all , I was misled as when I went online to book the tickets and call [redacted] I spoke with whom I assumed was a [redacted] representative as it was reservations number for [redacted]. The repress representative was deceiving upfront. I had viewed the tickets and called to book them with my debit card to ensure this was a flight with no stops as I clarified I did not want any layover as I was traveling with my daughter alone. He said he could get me the ticket but it would cost me a little more since I had looked at the price had went up a bit; however.if I paid the difference of $161.60 be guaranteed that I could get the flights to and from my destination of [redacted], ** to [redacted] with no stops. I clearly clarified again I wanted to make sure there was no layovers and he guaranteed me so. Only to my dismay, found out after when I saw the charge on my bill to another airline and Hariworld Travels.. I could not figure out how this could happen.

As a conclusion I feel that I am entitled to a total refund due to the fact that Hariworld Travels knew exactly what I wanted to purchase and I paid extra to get a flight with No stops for myself and my daughter. Your reviews on the Revdex.com reinforce this bait and switch tactic which they practice. I will settle for nothing less than a total refund this was very dishonest and wrong.Sincerely [redacted]

Sincerely,

Review: I was booking a flight with United Airlines and apparently Hariworld popped up. I was booking a round trip flight to Syracuse, New York for my niece's funeral. After paying for my "found trip" flight, they sent me my itinerary, it only had my trip to Syracuse, however, I thought nothing of it because I assumed that they would e-mail my itinerary return boarding pass. Because of so much confusion with the death of my niece and not being able to get onto the internet, I later found out that only a one way ticket was given to me. My daughter booked me a flight home for Monday because of all of the confusion, plus another return flight for a later date, it was cheaper than the one way ticket that was purchased through who I thought was United Airlines. My flight confirmation was [redacted] from [redacted] to Syracuse, New York on March **, 2015, leaving at 10:58 a.m. Had I seen the complete itinerary before paying, I would have observed their mistake.Desired Settlement: I want my round trip ticket that I paid for.

Response:

The Record the Client is referring to is not a Hariworld booking/record. We need ticket number and name of passenger to track down the booking

Response:

Hariworld Travel Group is an airline consolidator and we do not sell to consumers. We act as the fulfillment for smaller agencies that are unable to issue tickets. Hariworld does not book these reservations or authorize payment. We simply generate tickets including their service fees according to the agencies instructions. You would have to contact the agency from which you purchased the tickets.

Hariworld Travel Group is an airline consolidator. As a consolidator we do not sell to consumers only top bona fide travel agencies..
