Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: While I agree that Harris Ford finally listened to what I had to say and found financing on the car I was interested in purchasing; I do not agree with their practices I never received an apology from them for their behavior or and explanation for the way I was treated at their business If Harris Ford can find me financing, I'm sure I can find financing anywhereWhy would I choose to do business with a company that: [redacted] Disrespected me and my time (basically ruining my Christmas season) [redacted] Didn't listen when I tried to communicate my concerns about how long I drove around in their car without a deal on the table or the fact that they had the wrong information on my lease payoff Harris Ford seemed to take their time until I got the Revdex.com involved in this issue I walked into their dealership and took possession of their vehicle on December 1st and drove around, without a deal, for about three weeks I tried numerous times to reach out and say "hey folks, we need to work something outthis isn't the right way to do business" but no one seemed to mind while they were trying to sell me a car However, once I made my mind up not to do business with Harris Ford, they got me my check within the same business day That tells me that they could have taken care of me whenever they wanted to; they just didn't seem to care Which is why I've chosen not to do business with Harris Ford or any of their dealerships in the future and I plan to tell everyone I know about the horrible experience I had and I will do my very best to warn others of their unprofessional and unethical business practices in the future Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Thank you for forwarding this complaint, I have reviewed the file and we have attempted contact with Mr [redacted] to discuss how we can help him trade out of the car into something that he would prefer The CarFax shows vehicle had an accident that occurred in from the original owner who had leased the carThe vehicle title was not branded, the repairs were completed, original factory warranty stayed in tact, and the original lessor kept the vehicle while maintaining its services at the dealer (Pacific VW) until the lease ended in When we got the vehicle we had it inspected and all was in good condition The price he purchased the car for ($15,509) was a very good deal but we are happy to assist Mr [redacted] get a different vehicle if he would likeHe just needs to make contact with our Used Vehicle Manager (Bryan K***) or he can also contact me directly at [redacted] or [redacted] If anyone has any additional questions please let me know, I can be reach at the phone # or email address above Regards, Luk B [redacted]

Unfortunately the vehicle Mr. [redacted] was interested in did not have the "Early bird" program where Ford pays the last couple of lease payments. If anyone has any questions please let me know, I can be reached at ***@HarrisFord.com or by email at... ***@HarrisFord.com Regards, Luk B [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I am not trying to tell you what the Permaplate does or doesn't doI am telling you what Dan (finance manager) told me would be done for meI have asked numerous times to let me see the video of us doing the purchasing paperwork and the conversation we had pertaining to the paintIt seems Dan doesn't want me to see itI know for a fact I was told the paint would be fixedWhen someone makes a mistake in my business I do what is necessary to correct it even when it means I made no money from them I don't treat the client like garbageThis experience has let me know what kind of company Harris Ford isHarris Ford is all about the money it makes with zero regard for how they make it cheating and stealing from the clients included apparentlyI am so sorry I was so foolish to trust that I would not be taken advantage ofI never in all my years have been treated so poorly by a big company I thought I could trust The actions of Harris Ford are down right criminalShame on you Harris Ford! Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I tried to reach Mrs*** and left a message last weekI personally watched the video of the transaction and at no time did our business manager ever misrepresent the product or tell Mrs*** that the product would repair already existing oxidationShe is welcome to make an appointment to come in, watch the video and refresh her memory. I contacted the Buick/ GMC dealer in Kirkland and verified that the vehicle is still under full factory warranty and if the vehicle has an issue she is free to make a warranty claim with Buick
The purchase was never made contingent on any repairs and Mrs*** was buying the vehicle knowing full well the condition of the paintIf she misunderstood what the Perma Plate protection product was for, we are happy to refund her the $she paid for it she just needs to let us know
I am available by phone at 425-712-or by email at ***@Harrisford.com

Thank you for sending this concern to us, I spoke to the parties involved and reviewed the transaction file
Sometimes our associates are with other clients and we need to have a different person help in their absenceWe do fill New Vehicles purchased with fuel but we do not on pre
owned vehicles because we do not want to transfer that cost to the customers buying the vehicle
We agreed to terms based on a value for the trade in payoff and when we were able to connect with the lender we discovered that the payoff was a much higher value than we usedAs an alternative to her absorbing the negative equity we suggested building the remaining lease payments into the deal and turning the lease back inWhen we confirmed the payoff we did learn that the original value we received included Sales Tax and we were given another payoff amount that did not have Sales tax which was still much higher than the original estimate
I am sorry that our staff showed excitement around the purchase and I will address that with themIn an effort to help we offered to absorb the difference in payoff but when we were asked to rescind the transaction we obliged that request instead, have done so and refunded the money given as down payment

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I paid thousands more, comparing to a same none CPO Ford, for a vehicle that was clean of any sort of accidents and was marketed as a Certified Pre-Owned. However, I did not receive what I paid for. Fixing the car free of charge does not even count as the least Harris Ford should have done. They did not just sell me a car that had been in an accident, they sold me a car that put my family in danger. I offered them to do an even exchange for a comparable vehicle but they refused. Instead, they were trying to make more money from me by offering me "the current market trade in value" for the car they sold me. I also had to free time out of my very busy schedule for two round trips from Bellevue to Lynwood, 30-40min each way, to pick up my so called CPO vehicle. Harris Ford is very dishonest and giving me a full refund is the only thing they can do to fix what they have done. I am also willing to keep this vehicle if they refund $5,000 plus tax of my purchase price. That would cover the fact that this vehicle was in an accident and I have to disclose it to the party I will be selling it to.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

While I agree that Harris Ford finally listened to what I had to say and found financing on the car I was interested in purchasing; I do not agree with their practices.  I never received an apology from them for their behavior or and explanation for the way I was treated at their business.
If Harris Ford can find me financing, I'm sure I can find financing anywhere. Why would I choose to do business with a company that:
* Disrespected me and my time (basically ruining my Christmas season)
* Didn't listen when I tried to communicate my concerns about how long I drove around in their car without a deal on the table or the fact that they had the wrong information on my lease payoff
Harris Ford seemed to take their time until I got the Revdex.com involved in this issue.  I walked into their dealership and took possession of their vehicle on December 1st and drove around, without a deal, for about three weeks.  I tried numerous times to reach out and say "hey folks, we need to work something out... this isn't the right way to do business" but no one seemed to mind while they were trying to sell me a car.  However, once I made my mind up not to do business with Harris Ford, they got me my check within the same business day.   That tells me that they could have taken care of me whenever they wanted to; they just didn't seem to care.
Which is why I've chosen not to do business with Harris Ford or any of their dealerships in the future and I plan to tell everyone I know about the horrible experience I had and I will do my very best to warn others of their unprofessional and unethical business practices in the future.
