I bought the extended warranty from Hawk on my 2007 [redacted]. They misdiagnosed a problem with a wheel bearing and told me that the problem was with my tires. Bought the tires and the problem continued so I brought it back. By that time the warranty had expired. When I tried to tell them that they misdiagnosed the problem when I had an active warranty, they refused to recognize their mistake and fix the original problem. I'm sitting in a shop right now spending $600 to have the wheel bearing fixed. Don't buy cars from them or at the very least, don't buy their warranty.

AT THIS TIME THERE IS NOTHING ELSE WE CAN OFFER, IT IS A USED VEHILCE AND WAS SOLD THAT WAY. THE EXTENDED COVERAGE ONLY COVERS CERTAIN PARTS NOT THE ENTIRE VEHILCE. ANY FURTHER REPAIRS WOULD BE THE CUSTOMERS RESONSIBILITY.

I spoke with [redacted] on the phone about my complaint and since then he hasn't returned any of my phone calls. It seems like he doesn't want to negotiate anymore. He told me that the price of these installed options were correct at the time of my purchase and that since I bought my car the prices have been reduced. LIES! Like I said I work at a Ford dealership. I know what the prices are and I know that they don't change often. [redacted] said that he spoke with his GM on this matter and he said that they're willing to give me a refund of $707.00. That number, according to him, came from the difference in price of the options between then and now. I feel like this amount is not acceptable considering how much they over charged me for these installed options. What it says on my contract as far as charges go is $3792 for dealer installed options. What the actual cost of those options are about $1500. Almost $2300 that they over charged me. Hawk Ford made a ton of money off of my deal and I want more than $707 back. When he gave me that number it was like a slap in the face. He also told me that they are not obligated to give me a refund. I'm not sure if that's true or if it was another lie. And it was also stated that they weren't going to budge from that number. I don't want to be made a fool of anymore. I'm already embarrassed that this happened to me and I feel like with these negotiations its happening all over again. They're trying to take advantage of me and I want it to stop

TALKED TO MR. [redacted] AND EXPLAINED WHY WE RECOMMENDED FUEL PUMP AND DRIVER MODULE. WHEN THE FUEL PUMP STARTS TO GO OUT IT...

CAUSES THE DRIVER MODULE TO BURN OUT. HE WAS UPSET THAT WE WOULD NOT JUST DO MODLUE THEN REPLACE PUMP WHEN IT GOES OUT. I DID OFFER TO SPLIT HIS CHECK OUT FEE AS A GOOD WILL ADJUSTMENT. I CAN NOT COVER HIS TOW AND RENTAL AS HE DECIDED NOT TO DO REPAIRS WITH US.

It was not that I was not willing to do the repair !! it just struck me a bit high in cost .prior to me bringing my vehicle to [redacted] Ford ,I did call and told them what had happened !!they told me what the problem may be ,the module needs to be reset or has been short-circuited ..which is why I brought my vehicle to them.I did informed them ,when I brought my truck in that a Radio repair shop had pulled module out while the truck was running and that it may be the problem!!therefore it seems a bit strange when they told me that I need a fuel pump!so therefore I took it to another Ford dealership name [redacted] ford..who diagnosed the problem correctly and informed me that I did not need a fuel pump but just a module !!!for that reason I felt that I was being over charged for something that I did not need..I would be willing to settle for a $200 from [redacted] Ford for the time wasted..To settle and drop the complaint!!!this also caused me to miss a day of pay from my job ,which is much more than $200!!!based on their misdiagnose!!

I HAD ALREADY MADE A AGRREMENT WITH MR. [redacted] TO REFUND 50% OF HIS CHECK OUT CHARGE AS A GOODWILL GESTURE, BEFORE HE FILED Revdex.com CASE. THERE IS NOTHING ELSE I CAN OFFER HIM. [redacted] 10.8.14

Per Mr. [redacted]'s request and to prevent a loss for our lender
that extended Mr. [redacted] his financing we have reversed and voided this
transaction.  As for Mr. [redacted]'s accusation of paying the salesperson
$300, I have no evidence to validate this claim and as of yet

I have been doing business with Hawk Ford for many years, now. On a previous occasion, I took my 2006 Ford Taurus for repairs. When it left the shop, it had a very bad oil leak, which it did not have before. On another occasion, a few days ago, I took my 2004 Ford F-150 for suspension work. I later discovered a bad oil leak, which was not leaking before. I took it to Hawk Ford in an attempt to resolve the issue and was told that they did not cause it. On both occasions my vehicles were not leaking oil, they have been dealer maintained since I have owned them. It is my belief that Hawk Ford either through mechanic incompetence or through deliberate actions, are causing damage to vehicles in order to create more business.

When his vehicle was in for check up we did note on his repair that his brakes and tires were in the red and needed immediate attention. It shows on his repair order he declined. My service advisor who was handling...

repair was off the day he picked up, so I am not sure if this was communicated to customer correctly.
