I ordered from headkandy, was so excited to be getting this item! It's now going on 2 weeks and I haven't received a thing from them, I contacted them and they state they are contacting *** and that *** will contact me to approve a 'lost/stolen? package claim, *** has NOT contacted me, and so I called them and they have no record of this or them requesting a claim for me! I paid $120 for this hair straightener and hair products, and now I'm stuck with nothing from them? I live on a budget and couldn't afford this to begin with, but thought I'd splurge since I never buy myself anything, and this is what I get? This is ridiculous! At this point, since it's taken so long, I just want my money back, this has been a hassle, and taught me not to believe all the hype about new products.

Per our email conversation, you authorized *** to leave your package at your door regardless of the situation, this is called a "my authorized shipment release". Once you authorize this delivery method, you release the shipper (Head Kandy) and *** from responsibility for your package. Once delivered, the package delivery cannot be investigated and you accept responsibility for your packages.

It was confirmed that your package was scanned outside of your actual residence via satellite / GPS imagery. Although it is not our mistake, we did kindly offer you a discount to help replace the items you have lost. This offer still stands if you would like to take advantage of it.

Why would I order AGAIN from this company when they aren't willing to give me the original items I have paid for?
I did not authorize anything to be dropped off, and when I contact *** they have no records of any call or complaint for these items from "HeadKandy" this is a scam of a company, and my HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of followers on all my sites will be finding out this as well. They took $127 from me without any product, and then expect me to order again from them with just 20% off, really? I haven't received the first order, so it makes no sense to order from this company again. This was my kids gift to me for Mother's Day, and here it is almost Fathers Day, and I still have no item, and no money to replace it. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!!! I will spread the word of what a horrible company they are, and IF I ever receive my items, I will do my review for this item, but as of now, my review is of the customer service and the company itself, which isn't great at all, they are horrible!!!!

I want to take a moment and leave some love for Head Kandy.

I myself had an initial bad taste in my mouth due to not getting what I ordered after it stated "delivered". I was initially upset and went to Head Kandy customer service as an angry man who just wanted his product for his wife! I was probably not very kind to their employee. She was very calm and let me vent my frustration. She then assured me she would do everything she could to figure it out. After some time, a *** investigation was completed (which took about 2 weeks but I understand they cannot control how long *** takes) it was not actually delivered.

She called be back as promised and immediately re-shipped my lost package! I cannot express how bad I felt about being so rude at first. But even more, I was very impressed on how professional the staff was even after dealing with my hateful attitude!

After returning a product I bought as a christmas gift in which I had to pay shipping for, I had to return the product within 2 weeks and was made to paythe shipping costs again. Then I was refunded an amount not equal to what I paid for originally. I called the company and was promised part of my order that was non returnable was going to be mailed to me was NEVER mailed. I was promised my hair brush and clips. I have never experienced such horrible customer service.

So she had the product for one month to try. We replied to email 9 minutes after it was sent to us. Making INCREDIBLE response time for any customer service. If you click the link to the return form it is INCREDIBLY clear that she was told you can not return the hair brush and croc clips as that poses a sanitary issue. We are not the first company that doesn't allow people to return items used for grooming. We do make the customer pay for shipping to return the item to us. We let you try the product, but if you are not happy you have to return the item at customers expense to us. We also very clearly state on the return form we will not refund original shipping cost. It is not a 100% refund. We also charge a $10 restocking fee. We apologize Ms. is upset however it is not in small print, of hidden on the policy that she signed and returned with her order our rules. I show no other communication between us and her where we would have promised to resend the items that she shouldn't have sent to us back to her. If she would like her clips and detangle brush returned to her we would be at happy to provide her with an invoice to pay shipping. We do not feel it should cost us money when we made it clear it was non returnable. We are a small business and the cost of shipping an item back to a customer that was not requested back from us is not feasible.

It is standard for companies online to charge restocking fees and have items you can't return.

We have attached the return form we require for any customer to receive a refund. The form clearly defines the rules for our return/refund policy. Her return was received January 5, 2018 and processed within the timeframe allowed.

I purchased a head kandy brush and it did not work. I contacted head kandy they told me to print the form out and send it back. That's what I did (paid $15 to do so). A couple of days after your facility received it I called to see why the money hasn't been deposited back into my bank account and the lady told me it would take 7-10 business days and assured me it would be deposited. Which was perfectly fine with me. Two days later my husband receives an email from head kandy stating that it could not be refunded because it was refurbished (there was nowhere on there website stating this and it says all products may be refundable). After speaking to several employees of head kandy the manager contacted us and his way of resolving the issue would be to refund me my $15 shipping fee only and I was charged a $10 restocking fee! I left several reviews on their website and they have been deleted. I am now left with them having my $75 plus $10 fee and stuck with a product that doesn't work.

Caleb *** purchased a "Rejuvenated 2.0" on November 22, 2017. The item purchased and paid for on the customers order says it was a "Rejuvenated 2.0" the description of the product is made very clear. It states;
"Our most popular product, Rejuvenated...
Sometimes, people don't love their 2.0 as much as we do! It has taken us about 8 months to collect these brushes! All of the Straightening Brushes for sale have been slightly used, but are tested and sterilized with hospital grade disinfectant.
Items may have small cosmetic flaws, some may not be used but factory seconds for paint flaws or other cosmetic reasons. All function perfectly and the cosmetic flaws will not in anyway effect the way the product works.

PLEASE ALLOW 1-2 BUSINESS DAYS FOR PROCESSING.
All sales of this item are FINAL and not returnable for refund. NO Exceptions."

January 2017, I began following Head Kandy and watching their videos on Facebook. In April 2017, I purchased a rejuvenated 2.0 straightening brush. It took several times using it to become comfortable with it. It doesn't cause damage or breakage to my hair like a traditional flat iron.
After reading some of the other reviews, I honestly can't help but think that the complaints are from people who don't know how to use it properly. Whether it's using it on wet or damp hair, not brushing their hair out prior to using the 2.0, dropping the brush (causing damage), not holding the power button down long enough for the appliance to turn on (thinking it doesn't work), or wanting something for nothing. The only way for a consumer to not be satisfied is if they don't understand how to use their product(s). I currently own the 2.0, kandy ties, croc clips, and the cleaning brush. Every interaction with HK's employees has been a pleasant experience.

I made a purchase from this company for approximately $20 on December 26, given holiday and processing time it wa shipped out on the 29th. On January 1 tracking said it was on it's way to its destination. Today is January 10 and it is still in the same status. I contacted the company to let them know that my package is lost and they told me to wait it out a few more days, however I was talking to two different people via email and fb messenger as it took them 2 days to respond. There was clearly no communication between the two and after being polite and just looking for my order to be resent, they upset me with their miscommunication and I asked for a refund. They said I would have to wait til they filed a claim with the post office before they would POSSIBLY give me a my refund. Later that evening the business owner Kayla called me apologizing for the mos communiction and I agreed to allow two more days of waiting, the. They would resend the package in an expedited shipping. The next morning I checked the status of tracking and nothing had changed. I then discover that this business had blocked me from their *** page and messenger, making it so that I cannot contact them regarding my order that I never received, in which they still had my money. I then called the only number I could find and was told by Amy, lI don't know what to tell you, I don't talk to those people in the company." I asked for a manager and when I spoke to Ryan he laughed at me and told me that they didn't block me and it just got to a point where I was upset and he said he would look into it and we hung up. I am not comparing that I was blocked because the company is so afraid I will say something bad about them, which I did not ever do. I am complaining that they cut off my contact when they still have my money. So I then sent another email stating how I was upset that I was lied to and that I wanted a refund immediately and to refund me my money or I would contact the Revdex.com based on all the back and forth they have had me deal with. I gave it another day and got no response from the company. I then sent one last email asking about the status of my refund and received no reply. This company is holding my money and has not resent the products I ordered. I want I refund because I no longer want to use this companies products after being treated poorly as a paying customer just looking for my $21 back. If I do not get my money back I will have to take this a step further. It's unreal that a company that supposedly gives away free product all the time would have trouble refunding $21.

"#Squadgoals" which consist of shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner and heat protectant was advertised on sale for $4.99. At checkout the full price of 64+ tax, S&H were added for aprox. $70 total. I contacted the company who refused to give me what was advertised stating it was a sample that was $4.99 but there was no mention or option of sample on the link nor at checkout. I requested the advertised product for the advertised price. They refused to allow the purchase only stating they would fix their advert/ availability to purchase samples. "we will get that fixed!" In the attached pic you can clearly see there is no mention of samples and there are standard bottles advertised for $64.99 that has been crossed out and replaced with $4.99.

The #Squadgoals wet line is $60.00 for full size bottles. The prices range from $4.99-$60.00. Prices vary depending on what you selected to purchase. When you go in to the product description and purchase area it was CLEARLY listed the price and differences. It would change in the drop down menu. It would change according to size you purchased. It said "sample $4.99" then it gave you 5 other options, in the drop down menu. Each product is $16.00 for full size items. The listed $4.99 was for samples. Not one other customer called and said that they were confused on the price. We were unsure of why Ms. was so adamant that it was so confusing. We refused honor the sample price of $4.99 for full size items as that retails for $60.00, we acknowledged that she was confused and apologized. We then decided to list the products separately so that there wouldn't be any confusion for anyone else, even though this was the first and only complaint we had about it.

I purchased 2 Head Kandy irons from this company for Christmas Presents. The first one arrived and once opened, we had my wife and daughter both used it. It did not work for their hair, so I took a certified *** heat measuring gun and checked the temperature - it only goes up to 267 degrees Fahrenheit, not 450 like the manufacturer states. Once the 2nd one arrived the following day and I sent it back since we were not satisfied with the product. The company, who stands fully behind their product, charged a $10 restocking fee.

I also shared my comments on their website and their forums that it does an OK job, but it did not work in our situation. *very comment that does not give stellar reviews was removed from their sites. I even had people comment on my reviews, but before I could share my replies, Head Kandy took them down. If you are a reputable business, you would leave these comments up to allow consumers to make a full 360 degree informed decision.

I purchased a refurbished unit 6 months ago and they have no warranty at all (this isn't represented on their warranty page, which states they 100% stand behind their product and does not disclose that the refurbs aren't covered under warranty). This also wasn't apparent when I purchased the brush because I would have paid the extra money for a new unit. When I questioned this I was attacked by whoever runs their Facebook page. Apparently Head Kandy is run by 16 year old girls because I was told you have to be a "kind" customer for them to work with you. Which is a lie because they never offered me any type of discount or replacement in their initial response, I have now been blocked by their Facebook page. Great customer service. Being a small company you would think they would care more about their customers. The brush itself isn't that great. I have seen and used other brushes that work a lot better. Had they responded differently, I would have purchased a new brush.
