Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: To say their response does not resolve my complaint would be an understatementTo make matters worse after my last reply Kimlin actually sent me an invoice stating I owe them $for disconnecting the tank! Coincidentally around the same amount I estimate they owe me for the unused propaneFor the record I would have signed the agreement from the outset had the Kimlin representative told me it was required but all they asked me for was my credit card number on the first phone call and then after the fact began incessantly emailing me the agreement with no prior notice (to this day they are still emailing it to me)I found them to be very unprofessional and was not comfortable signingAs I've said in my previous entries I never had any intention of continuing any type of business relationship so I'm not sure why they would continue calling and emailingI have already begun service with another companyAll I wanted was my money back but they obviously have little to no interest in resolving my complaint as well as no respect for what the Revdex.com represents as Max K [redacted] plainly wrote in his reply that yes, they took the propane I paid for and now refuse to reimburse me, not surprising given my experience with themThe only thing I ever requested from them was the propane which I paid for in full, the fact that they are trying to charge me for disconnecting the propane after seeing the complaint just shows that instead of making an attempt to resolve the situation they are trying to exacerbate things even further As I said before completely unprofessionalAt this point I just want to be done with Kimlin so if they will put something in writing stating that the account I opened with them is closed with zero balance then I will confirm that my Revdex.com complaint is resolved In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: [Kimlin Propane has only provided part of the statement I had madeWhen I initially contacted them with a problem I stated that the noise is coming from the regulator on their propane tank I was also told that They would send someone out never indicating that someone had to be there for them to actually hear the noiseIn fact it was so open ended and a basic response they gave, that when I told them the exact problem location they would just take care of itNever once did they disclose any time a required payment for their faulty equipment or that they needed to hear the problem] In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: [Your Answer Here] A short while after my complaint was submitted, I did receive my refund check after over two months of waitingI appreciate thatThank youFor the record, I was never informed that Linda was training someone knewInstead I got run around after run around each time I called When I originally called to request a delivery, I advised Kimlin upfront that I was renting the place on a very temporary basis while my new home was being completedAt the time the order was placed, we only had a few weeks left thereWe called Kimlin since there was an existing tank already at the residence from the previous tenantI was advised that I'd be refunded promptly when we left with no termination fees...over two months for a refund is not timely In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted] ***

We have reviewed the complaint regarding the minimum use fee for [redacted] ***We understand that budgets are tight and that paying extra fees that may not have been billed in the past, could upset someone. For the last years we have been posting our Terms of Service on our website, listing them on our delivery tickets, and one a year mailing them directlyThese terms of service outline removal fees and min use fees.We have had discussions with the customer on how they could avoid the min fees, which the customer elected to not take advantage ofBecause of this we believe our fees have been adequately displayed to the customer and are fair

[redacted] called our office with a "noise" coming from the tank and regulator and asked that we come and check itWe looked into the problem and found no such noiseThe customer was not home to help diagnose the "noise" he was hearingThere was nothing we could doHe was billed for the time to investigate a problem that we could no verify. This charge seems to be within reason as he was explained this over the phone

The business has responded Please see below:On an account was opened for [redacted] for propane service [redacted] provided his email to have the tank lease agreement sent to him for signature and provided a credit card for payment of his first deliveryThe tank lease agreement was sent via docusign to the email provided. On A called was place to [redacted] and a message was left that Kimlin had not received the signed agreement and if we do not receive the signed agreement he will experience a disruption in service. On a work order was created to remove the regulator since we did not receive the agreement The regulator was removed on since Kimlin did not receive the signed agreement [redacted] claim that we shut off his service without notice is completely and his claim that we did this on a Friday is also falseWe shut the service off on Monday so he had all week to have it reestablished without inconvenienceAll he had to do was sign the tank lease and he failed to comply after months of communication

Hello *** Thank you so much for being a customer for the past three yearsIt means alot to us that your have chosen us to heat your home. I was looking into the late deliveries as you describedWe never want to make our customers wait for propane
Because of great customers like yourself reaching out to us have made a huge push in the last few years to bring our delivery times for will call customers down to a few day rather then business days as advertised.I noticed that all three of the deliveries this season have been made between one and/or two days of the date you calledThat's less then hours! The last delivery, we arrived the same day you called, received a check for you delivery and unfortunately it bouncedFrom *** until *** (That's over three weeks) We left you no less then voicemail's trying to get in touch with your about being paid for the delivery.I understand that times are touch and we work to help customers in there time of needTo this date we have no heard from you to talk about it or given us the opportunity to help out in any way we canI promise you, we don't bite, so please call the office and this situation can be worked out

As the owners of Door To Door Flooring, we have consistently operated our business with award winning customer service and high ethical business practices which have been the cornerstones of our year old business. That said, the review left by this particular customer crosses the line Their comments are, at best, misleading and some remarks are complete fabrications The flooring installed in their home matched the sample from which they selectedThe material was delivered two days ahead of installation and a carton was opened for their inspection and conformation of color The sample and the product were both from the same factory Even though they were advised that the color wouldn’t match exactly, both husband and wife agreed the color was “close enough” to their existing wood which is feet away from the room mentioned in this review. This customer refuses to grant us access to the independent inspection they claim they received, which we requested multiple times, and they refuse to allow us to have an independent, unbiased inspection performed There may be a few easily resolvable issues that can be repaired and we are more than willing to do soIf repairs do not resolve the issue to industry standards, Door To Door Flooring will stand behind our warrantiesThe customer is required by Texas law to allow us to have an independent inspector review the wood installation, share the reports they have received and allow reports to resolve any issues, (Texas Residential Construction Liability Act, Sec27.004) None of this has happened. We now believe this customer simply does not want to meet their financial commitment and pay the balance due on this job At this point, we are filing a civil suit in order to protect our interests and collect the contracted balance due

Our customer company agreement is availible online, and also our office can provide a copy of that agreement through mail or emailThese agreements are also sent out through the mail yearly with marked changes. We are sending her a copy today so she now has that.We are still willing to reduce the minimum use fee by half which would allow her to avoid the removal fee.I hope this clears things up

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I received no warning that service was going to be shut off, as I said before they emailed me the agreement after I PAID IN FULL for the propane so obviously they could have emailed me a warning. I use my hot water everyday so I am percent certain that it was shut off on a Friday prior to the weekendIf they truly wanted to resolve my complaint they would have simply reimbursed me for the propane as I initially requestedThey had no right to disconnect my propane I PAID IN FULL and did not sign anything giving them the right to disconnect my propane as they see fitAbsolutely ridiculous you disconnect someone who owes an outstanding balance not someone who pays up front. I was warned by others not to deal with them but their tank was already at the address so I assumed it would be easier to just go with themI have no interest in continuing service with them and to be clear the only thing that will resolve my complaint is for them to come get their tank and reimburse me for the remaining propane as well as some type of adjustment for the hassle it caused meTotally unprofessional and unethical

The business has responded Please see below:We have been waiting for ** *** to return the tank lease agreement to our office since mayWe try and understand customers other obligations and that the lease agreements can be lateFor this reason reason we allowed ** *** to fill his tank without first having the agreements returned to usIt had been months since we first sent it, and we had called/emailed *** *** over times with no responseWe decided the best course of action would be to lock the tank offThe lease agreements outlines important safety information, an outline of how we do business, what the customer should expect from us and what we expect from the customerI'm sure *** *** would understand fully why we were forced to lock his tank off if he had read and returned the lease of the tankBecause of *** *** lack of response to our company and also never formally opening an agreement with out company to supply propane, I don't think there is any necessary re-reimbursementThank you for your time, Max K***

Hello,Tank rental fees are industry standard for customers that do not use any propaneThis customer was fortunate to have three years of no deliveries/no tank rental fees billed, while still using a tank he does not own.Updates to our terms of service are mailed annually to notify customers of any
changes made to fees charged.Thank you

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
Splitting the minimum use fee will not be an acceptable outcome for me. I have some questions about your business practices which have come to light because of this complaint. I found out that you charge $removal fee for removing my 20+ year old tank and if I don't wish to continue doing business with you then you will charge me this fee. Upon going to your website, I found statements dealing with this removal fee. The first one is for leased tanks, "Customer may terminate this agreement at any time by giving the other party thirty (30) days written notice. The current charge for removal of tanks is $75." Later on in the Kimlin Customer Agreement it states, "Tank Removal Fee-This charge covers the labor to remove a tank. The Company reserves the right to change its Tank Removal fee cost and qualifications without prior written notice to customer. The current charge for removal is $150."The outcome I am looking for would be a reasonable end to our business relationship, I no longer wish to do business with you. I would like for us to come to an agreement that saves me as much money as possible. I will give you days written notice as it states in the agreement, and you should charge me no more than $removal fee. I might also be interested in purchasing the tank from you as long as it is a reasonable amount. I have had that tank at my house for years. Please let me know if this is an option and how much it would cost. I request a credit for the propane in the tank, the gallon tank is full, so as of my last delivery, I was charged $per gallon. There is about $worth of propane in the tank, of which I request a credit. I am hopeful we can resolve this issue. I don't think it is legal in this customer agreement for you to be able to change your prices without prior written notice to your customers. I have never received an annual customer agreement in the mail as you stated above. I have also not received a copy now that you said you had mailed to me. I will be sending you letter requesting we no longer do business after days

To say their response does not resolve my complaint would be an understatement. To make matters worse after my last reply Kimlin actually sent me an invoice stating I owe them $40 for disconnecting the tank! Coincidentally around the same amount I estimate they owe me for the unused propane. For the record I would have signed the agreement from the outset had the Kimlin representative told me it was required but all they asked me for was my credit card number on the first phone call and then after the fact began incessantly emailing me the agreement with no prior notice (to this day they are still emailing it to me). I found them to be very unprofessional and was not comfortable signing. As I've said in my previous entries I never had any intention of continuing any type of business relationship so I'm not sure why they would continue calling and emailing. I have already begun service with another company. All I wanted was my money back but they obviously have little to no interest in resolving my complaint as well as no respect for what the Revdex.com represents as Max K[redacted] plainly wrote in his reply that yes, they took the propane I paid for and now refuse to reimburse me, not surprising given my experience with them. The only thing I ever requested from them was the propane which I paid for in full, the fact that they are trying to charge me for disconnecting the propane after seeing the complaint just shows that instead of making an attempt to resolve the situation they are trying to exacerbate things even further.  As I said before completely unprofessional. At this point I just want to be done with Kimlin so if they will put something in writing stating that the account I opened with them is closed with zero balance then I will confirm that my Revdex.com complaint is resolved.

As stated in my complaint, I was never charged a minimum usage fee nor ever notified of any instigation of such charge.  When I signed up with Killing initially there was no rental fee, nor any minimum charge, additionally I was never given any terms and conditions when I signed up.  Moreover, I have never received any terms and conditions from Kimlin, nor any subsequent updates to such terms and further more no explanation as to theses charges as questioned in my multiple letters to Kimlin over the last 9 months.  Kimlin simply began billing me for non communicated charges for which I was never informed nor ever agreed to such charges. Thank you.

The regulator was removed on 8/**/2015 since Kimlin did not receive the signed agreement . [redacted] claim that we shut off his service without notice is completely false and his claim that we did this on a Friday is also false. We shut the service off on Monday so he had all week to have it reestablished without inconvenience. All he had to do was sign the tank lease and he failed to comply after 2 months of communication.

A short while after my complaint was submitted, I did receive my refund check after over two months of waiting. I appreciate that. Thank you. For the record, I was never informed that Linda was training someone knew. Instead I got run around after run around each time I called.  When I originally called to request a delivery, I advised Kimlin upfront that I was renting the place on a very temporary basis while my new home was being completed. At the time the order was placed, we only had a few weeks left there. We called Kimlin since there was an existing tank already at the residence from the previous tenant. I was advised that I'd be refunded promptly when we left with no termination fees...over two months for a refund is not timely.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:I have never received any information from this company explaining about the minimum use charge. I do not use their website therefore I have not seen any of the information that they say I have received. I would like to see proof of the fact that I have received this information. I would also like to see proof that they can charge me $160 to remove my tank. I will gladly drop it off at their Steves Lane location to avoid having to pay this ludicrous charge. I would not recommend this company to anyone, and I no longer wish to do any business with this company. I hope an agreement can be reached. I have asked that a manager or an owner please call me, and I was told that the request would be passed on, but there was no guarantee that they would return my call.
