Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: During my last phone conversation I was (again) told that it had been resolved I have been told this for several years now and so have significant reason to doubt this verbal "confirmation" My bank account shows no refund either current or pending, only the unauthorized charge I would like a written guarantee that this will not happen again next year This is more than one mistake It is so bad as to be predictable Every year I am assured that it will not happen again, and every year it does My bank has advised me to cancel my entire account and file fraud charges I would like to avoid that and simply have, in writing, a guarantee that this truly is resolved and what to do if it happens yet again next year As of right now, nothing about this issue has changed on my end at all and so I consider this complaint UNRESOLVED In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

Scholastic has identified the check in question and it was used towards Reading Club orders of which Jessica Fuerstenberg has no association withWe are unsure as to how this situation came about but we have made the necessary steps to correct the situation Scholastic has refunded the payment back to Jessica Fuerstenberg at her home address( [redacted] )Additionally we apologized for the inconvenience this situation has caused [redacted] Thank you

Scholastic did refund my money after numerous calls and a letter to their CEO. Sad that it took so many phone calls and that level of complaint to get them to do the right thing. Sincerely, . We are very sorry there was an issue with the processing of the order and payment We've researched all transactions and have found the Paypal account had not been charged but there was an authorization pending We've cancelled the pending authorization and the funds should now be
available We never want to disappoint a customer and as an additional apology we have refunded the $that was spent on the books that were received

Reached out to the customer by phone and extended our sincerest apologyLet the customer know we truly are sorry for her experience and appreciated the opportunity to restore her confidence in purchasing Provided the customer with a full refund and a gift of books

Spoke with *** and had her forward the email with broken link to me. I confirmed with her that we were able to remove her from all lists and apologized for the inconvenience of the unwanted email and the broken link

Manager Jeremy N*** reached out personally to the customer and confirmed the refund had been received He also provided all of his contact information if there is ever a problem in the future
