Had a clog in our shower on first floorWorker came examined pipes and cleared clogMentioned the pipes in kitchen were slightly pitched and redoing is something we might want to considerHe didn't think that was the cause but said it's possibleGave us quote and after speaking to him I felt confident it wasn't necessary and causing the issueHe was very knowledgable and patient explaining everything and gave some tipsOverall I was very impressedHe even cleaned the shower after!
About months later, we had food coming up the showerFound it odd since we decided to not use the disposable up until that pointWe were cautious about putting food down that is only recommended, doing so very slowly, and ran water minutes after to keep it flushing downFigured it was a fluke incidentThis kept happening here and thereWe decided to stop using the disposal since it must be causing a problemNow the shower is backed up again out of no where
So I decided to give them a call and hope they stand behind their workIt seemed apparent the initially clog might have not been 100% clearedIt just seemed to back up so soon afterI talked to Mike and he informed me they only have a day guaranteeHe said they can't control what goes down there after that point which it understandableI tried my best to explain the issue which is what you have read up to this pointHe denied that the clog had not been properly cleared because they ran waterYes, water will successfully go down a drain if partially clearedIf it was, there wouldn't be things coming up so soonHe said in his notes it was recommended to redo the pipes and we denied so it's not his problemI told him what the tech said and if it was really the issue we would have had it doneThe goal was to completely address the problem and fix it once and for allI trust what the tech explained to me and I believe we made a well informed decision- to this dayHe was excellentI suppose Mike didn't want to be accountable for the possibility the snaking didn't completely get the clogMistakes happenAll he was willing to do was a snaking for $150, no warrantyWe declined after I spoke to my husband and I told him how the conversation wentHe was border line rude and condescending at timesOnce I misspoke and said, "It started clogging again days after" instead of "months later"He said, "Ohhh!! So now it's days huh? Make up your mindFirst it's months and now it's 30!!"I told him I misspoke and there was no need to be rudeIt was very upsetting to be accused of being dishonest for misspeakingI wrapped up the conversation since I was getting beyond frustrated and being rude backWe just wanted this issue properly addressed and fixed the first time aroundSo maybe there was a mistake made on their behalfI don't understand why Mike couldn't own up to this possibilitySo in the end, I wouldn't recommendIf the service works out, you'll be fineIf not, you might be in a similar situationWe had another company come out and the clog is clearedHe confirmed that the kitchen pipes were not causing the problemHe solved the cause immediatelyThe pricing was much betterIf I went with this company the first time, I could have saved so muchHe also figured out why the kitchen sink was leakingAll's well that end wellI at least owe a thanks for Mike for speaking quite a while to meHopefully this review will help potential clients receive better service in the futureMaybe this company can learn that mistakes can happen and give clients the benefit of the doubtWe unfortunately were not so lucky
