Herrmann Brothers Enterprises Reviews (%countItem)

Contracted this company to provide a service. They agreed, took the money, and ceased communication without starting the project.
We (homeowners) contacted the Herrmann Brothers Enterprises to build a sunroom with impact windows at my home. According to the contract the project would cost a total of $10,000 to complete. We paid $3000 to the Herrmann Bros to get the projected started. We were given a date for the construction to start. No one from the company showed up, nor did they call. When we called no one answered, and no one returned our calls. We continued to reach out to the *** Brothers to no avail. We were recently informed by the Bankruptcy court that *** has filed for bankruptcy personally. Clearly another Herman Brother ploy. *** is using the Honorable Court system as a shield to continue defrauding consumers without penalty. Although Mr. has filed for bankruptcy he is protected from lawsuits yet his company is still open and he continues to take the hard earned money of the consumer never responding or completing the job.

Desired Outcome

Refund. We must be refunded our deposit money so we can hire someone else. We also recommend that ***'s license be revoked, as he should not be allowed to continue to defraud consumers

Terrible project management. A 6 week sunroom project turned into 17 months thanks to personnel turnover, material delays, poor planning, and terrible communications. So many promises, so many disappointments. I would never do business with these people ever again.

I am so glad that I chose Herrmann Brothers for my covered deck project. The sales rep, helped me design a beautiful, affordable enclosure, and stayed with me to help throughout the build, unlike sales reps in other companies. The crew worked tirelessly to make sure that my porch was built perfectly. First quality workmanship at every stage. Each day, the crew left my yard neat and clean, and when they finished, I had absolutely nothing to do but enjoy my new space because they left my yard immaculate. I am thrilled with my new porch, and I've received many compliments - the transformation is amazing. Thanks to all who worked with me at Herrmann Brothers to fulfill my dream.

Our Slap is cracked Cement all over my doors and back of my house my doors got hit 2 times by workers we was told it will be replace n was not slap never got fix cement all over my back door we had to find a way to get it off n pant the doors sill looks like *** the back of my house is an half *** paint job do to half way up was panted we have to fix n now they go out of business some one let me know where to go after this company

Just had Herrmann Brothers Enterprises complete my 24 X 30 concrete slab for my new shop. I could not be happier on how it turned out; it is truly a Quality job and due to my property slope I knew it wasn't easy but the team did a fantastic job. They showed up when they said they would, it came in at the price quoted and most importantly it more than meet my expectation. They even stayed late to ensure the final finish was right. It is my pleasure to recommend them for any outdoor project you may be wanting done because Wesley and his team will do it right!

My experience with Herrmann Brothers was seamless and could not be happier with the outcome. Attention to detail was absolutely wonderful and Adam made it a breeze. Highly recommend them and whole crew.

This business is a fraud. Took deposits from many customers and ceased operations. I don't understand how Revdex.com can still publish good reviews after the business is closed.

By homeowner To start sunroom and order glass and supplies from their vendor. Demo completed and Herrmann bros. Then sent an email that they have ceased operations. Please help
Product_Or_Service: Sunroom construction

Desired Outcome

Refund That need to refund me and I will hire someone else to complete the job.

I can't wait to tell you how much we are satisfied with the job done by Herrmann Brothers Enterprises. They saved my project. The size of my sunroom is approximate 18'x19' inside, 20'x20' outside. We bought a house in FL, which has a un-permitted sunroom. Before we bought the house, several salesmen told us that it was nothing. We visited more than 20 houses in this area, half of them had the same issue. On the first day we got the key of my house, the inspector came to visit us, let us know we were in trouble. We've been trough some hard times, and lost a lot of money. I started to have doubt with people in the bay area until we met the Herrmann Brothers. They gave me the faith to people again.

Contractor collected a substantial deposit and performed no work at all at our house.
After meeting with the sales rep. ***, for Herrmann Brothers Enterprises we entered into two contracts. They were put into effect on 9/28/2018 to install impact windows and a sunroom. We gave total deposits of $42,700 to Herrmann Brothers Enterprises Inc.. To this date, no work has been started on our house.
We were informed via email on Saturday 4/13/2019 that the company closed on 4/11/2019 and they are ceasing all operations and services.
The last payment I made on 2/3/2019 in the amount of $25,500 for the sunroom materials. We repeatedly called Herrmann Brother's representatives and were repeatedly given misinformation making us believe that everything is moving forward.

Desired Outcome

Return of our deposit in the amount of $42,700

Contracted company to install impact windows
Windows were never installed. After repeated calls and repeated dates when job would be done it never happened. The total amount of money was made in 3 payments. Two were $7,500.00 and one was for $5,000.00.

Desired Outcome

Refund.

Company wrote contract and cashed check on 4-1-19. Sent email, that on X-XX-XX they are out of business. No work started or performed. Kept money.
Company sales manager wrote contract with me. I asked them to hold depositing the check due to need for survey. On 4-1-19 the check was deposited after receiving calls stating it was important to get the project started and quote was only good for 30 days. I was told that it would take 2 weeks to get architect to write plans that could be submitted to the HOA. I attempted to call them on Friday April 12th, 2019 and their phone didn't even ring just hung up like it was disconnected. On Saturday April 13th, I received an email that stated that the company was out of business as of Thursday April 11th. I am unable to reach anyone regarding a refund of deposit since no work was performed or started. The check was Cashed / deposited to bank in Ambler Pennsylvania. The business owner is *** Herrmann license # CRCXXXXXXX. Licensed on 10/13/2009 expires: 8/31/2020.
I feel that it is fraudulent as how can a company NOT know that they are going out of business within 10 days of cashing a check?

Desired Outcome

Refund of the $5,600 that was deposited with NO work performed prior to company going out of business

Contracted with this company for a sunroom that they did not deliver. They collected $22,400 dollars and abruptly closed business.
Contracted on October 4, 2018to build a sunroom for $32,000. Paid downpayment of $6,400. Went through planning and permitting process. After permit was approved, paid material payment of $16,000. In April the concrete sub-contractor came to extend portion of concrete patio. Footing prepared and inspected approximately 12 April but no concrete poured. Received email notification that business closed on 13 April. No further information received and no refund.

Desired Outcome

We would like a refund for the work that was not completed.

Paid for screened room addition. Room was never built. Received email that Herrmann Bros was ceasing their business.
7/18/2018: Ordered 3-sided screened room enclosure for a cost of 23k. Paid $4,600 down payment. Was informed that the permitting office was taking a long time, and that it may take 2 months for permit to be approved. Further discussion included possible weather delays for installation. I was told that it MAY be as late as December 2018 before installation began, since everything was contingent on the permit approval. I proceeded with the contract having that knowledge.
9/20/2018: Per the contract, "Material invoice becomes due and payable once the permit has been approved and picked up from your municipality." I received the bill for the material and paid the invoice ($11,500). Per their wording, I assumed the permit was now approved. The receipt of this bill was the first I'd heard from HB regarding the enclosure. Assuming the permit was done, I called to inquire about a start date for my room. *** said the permit was submitted, but not approved yet.
11/6/2018: *** called to inform me that she needed a clearer property survey for the permit application and I was to contact *** to authorize her to release the survey to H.B. I immediately called Ms. and the survey was sent to *** the following morning. Upon reviewing some of the documents that were enclosed in that email exchange, I discovered that the building permit application was not submitted until October 16th, 2018. Between July and November, I was led to believe that the building permit request was submitted promptly and the delay was with the permitting agency. It wasn't until this email exchange in November that I realized my permit application was not submitted until mid-October. *** said it was important that I act promptly to get the clear surveys to her, because HB wanted to have the cement slab poured in early December. The slab was not poured as planned. Between December and January the only correspondence I had with HB was initiated by me. Many calls and emails went unanswered or I got a call or email stating they had other jobs, weather delays, or other issues preventing them from starting my room. However, I was also told on some of these discussions that "we'll start next week." I'd stay home all week, no one would show and no call or explanation was given. I waited. Finally, I received confirmation that the framing for the slab would be done on 2/18/2019. I called the Friday before(2/15)to confirm the workers were coming and get an estimated time of arrival. I was told they rescheduled the work, though they hadn't informed me. New date to begin framing out for the cement would be 2/27.
2/27/2019: Workers showed up about noon. Equipment was broken. Workers were called off job by 3pm. Work not completed: I was told they'd return the next day.
2/28-3/1: No show. No call informing me of cancellation. On 3/2, in response to my email, I was told they would return on Monday 3/5.
3/5: Workers showed; did not complete framing.
3/12: Framing completed.
3/26: Cement finally poured.
4/1: Received bill for $5,750. Per contract, I was to pay that amount "upon initial framing of the unit." Things seemed to finally be progressing, I paid that bill immediately. Check was cashed and cleared on 4/5.
4/2: Assemblers arrived with partial materials to assemble room. It was quickly realized that the engineer's plans (which included cutting into my house roof) would not work. Assembler and I came up with an alternate plan. *** and crew assembled vertical beams which would not change with the proposed new plan. *** took plan to be approved by HB. 4/3: No show. No call. No contact. No one answering phones.
4/4: Work continued. I was told new room plan required a new roof which would take 1 week. A week went by, and no one returned to finish the room.
4/13: Received email notice informing customers and others that HB is "closing its business and ceasing all operations and services."

Desired Outcome

Although I feel this business owes me a full refund of the $20,000+ payment I made to them, I would settle for the company to pay whatever it will cost for me to purchase the rest of the materials and hire someone else to finish the room. As is, I have a cement slab with framing beams standing in my backyard. I either have to have it finished by someone else, or tear it all out. I've gotten a tentative estimate that I may be able to complete the room (materials and labor) for approximately $10,000. If I could get that back out of them, I'd take it.

Herrmann Brothers failed to delivery his promises not only on time but, after a prolong chase, they now closing and ceasing operations.
Herrmann Brothers and I have a contract in witch they charge me $25,000 Dollars for a Sunroof with impact windows, I made a deposit of $5,000.00 Dollars in a way of credit card on November 24, 2018. I then went to a process of getting my HOA approval as fast as I could. I provided then with the HOA permit at the beginning of February then I waited until the end of March to contact them to see how their process was going on the engineering drawing and town permit, their answer has always been the same ever since " We're still working on it", finally on April 1, 2019 I demanded my $5,000.00 dollars deposit to be refunded and to cancelled the project due to the extended period of time in witch they couldn't even generated any engineering drawings neither obtain the town permit, instead they requested me 12,500.00 more dollars to expedite the project and get material because they were getting another group of engineers, at that point I said, that I was not going to pay any additional money due to the their lock of delivering their promises and professionalism in the handling of the project. About two weeks went by and me sending them e-mails with no answers at all, went all the sudden on April 13, 2019 I received an e-mail from the company announcing that as of April 11, 2019 Herrmann Brothers, INC were closing its business and ceasing all operations and services with no specific details for any money to be refunded. I feel that I was a victim of this company and literately stole my money.

Desired Outcome

A full Refund of my deposit of $5,000.00

This company went out of business and took me $1000.00 with it ! No call back even went by the place of business and left a note

Signed contract in May of 2017 for an addition to our home. Gave builder $11,000.00 deposit. The main reason was for a bathtub as I am disabled with back pain and the only relief I get is in the tub. My master bedroom is up stairs and I am unable to get up there. First drawings had a shower only. Nothing has been done. They do not return calls or emails. They insisted we remove trees which we did almost 2 years ago with a cost of $2,600.00. They did not show up for many appointments they do not return calls or respond to emails. Threaten us that if we did file a complaint he would sue us. Finally made it to building department in December of 2018 is still in planning as they did not respond to comments from building and zoning. The only time they would answer phone was if I blocked my number as she thought it was *** the owner calling.
Lied and stole an additional $13,750.00 on December 24,2018 they called me so excited that they had the permit in hand and insisted on first material payment. I authorized payment using two credit cards. Figured a week later I should check with the building department and was advised that it had not even made it out of environmental as there were issues. They lied and stole from me. I requested they do a reversal of the charges which they refused. Waited for there start date it came and went, so I disputed the charges.
Last week the answering machine message was different just said they were busy call back later, and Thursday and Friday was just busy all day. Found out from inquiry with HomeAdvisor on Friday through a googles search that they are permanently closed.
This company has caused so much stress between myself and my husband. I have been so upset that I became ill physically in February with an antibiotic resistant infection that caused me to be septic with a blood infection so bad that I was hospitalized and almost died.

Desired Outcome

Refund My desired resolution would be a full refund and that *** never be allowed to work in this field again.

This business location is closed, numbers disconnected, and owners says doesn't have money to complete our job. Gave them $24,500 and no job begun.
On 9/21/18 we signed a contract for a sunroom at our house at *** XXXXX with Herrmann Brothers Enterprises Inc., owned by *** Certified Residential Contractor, license number CRCXXXXXXX. We gave an initial deposit on that day of $7000 and an additional Material Deposit on 11/2/18 of $17500. We have been in communication with their company via email and permit was approved by Palm Beach County in January 2019. We were informed by *** at their company that our project would begin May 1, 2019. I have a detailed email dated 1/28/19 stating as such. I have emailed them the last few weeks and received no answer. On Friday, I passed *** their office located at XXXX XXTH *** XXXXX/ PHONE: XXX-XXX-XXXX and their office was vacant and the phone number disconnected. My wife found an address for the business on SunBiz.org at *** BIG PINE KEY *** LAKE *** FL XXXXX. I went to the house to find the owner and figure out what is going on, but was informed by his tenant that he does not live there and was provided a cell phone number which is also disconnected. My wife found his information on FLDBPR website and then I went to his home address. I found him there and he told me he was going through a tough time and not completing any projects at the moment. That he does not have my money to give it back to me and that he is looking for investors to help him get back on his feet and that he would call me that day to let me know when he could do the project. He never called. My wife and I began looking online and it seems he and his company are defrauding people. There are many complaints on Revdex.com website and many bad reviews, which we had not seen. There seems to be a new number which is the one I listed above (XXX-XXX-XXXX) that we found on HomeAdvisor.com with many new 5 star reviews which I believe are fraudulent. We want to get our money back and make sure he and this company cannot do this to any more people. On the reviews it seems he is doing this to many elderly people as well. Please contact me (***) at XXX-XXX-XXXX or my wife I at XXX-XXX-XXXX to start an investigation against this company and contractor who are intentionally defrauding people and stealing their money.

We are filing a police report tomorrow and proceeding legally against him and his company as well. Below the link to Homeadvisor showing the new postings.

***

We have filed a complaint with the Florida Attorney General and against his license with the DBPR and are filing a police report tomorrow. If this issue is not resolved, we will proceed in court as well.

Desired Outcome

After reading so many reviews and the unprofessionalism from Mr. Herrmann and his company, we no longer trust him to do a good job if he mismanaged our material deposit of $17500 to instead of purchasing materials for our job to do other jobs or pocketed the money since he is stating he has no money to do our project. He has fully violated the contract terms and our trust. However, if their company can fully finish the job correctly in 1 month we are willing to agree to not pursue legal action. But we will not sit idly by and allow them to steal $24500.00 of our hard earned money. The company needs to find the money to buy the materials we already paid for and complete this project. If they are unable to comply with this then they need to refund us in full for THEIR breach or our contract. We are ready, willing and able to have the project completed per the terms of our agreed to contract.

Took $4000.00 deposit from me and $7500.00 from EnterBankUSA to start project on patio.Telephone # NOT answered.
Signed contract 1,25.2019 with $4000.00 deposit. Received $7500.00 from EnerBank I'm March for project.Loan # from bank is XXXXXXXXXX

I want monies refunded to the bank and me and cancel my contract.
Herrmann Brothers License # CRCXXXXXXX. Status:Active./
Need your help.
I have already contacted the bank with my problem.

Desired Outcome

I drove to Herrman Brothers Enterprises this morning and found out that there are about 6 other people had come to their office with grievances. Unless there are genius reason why they are not responding the company's license should be revoked. I would like you to help me get my deposit of $4000.00 back and the bank refunded $7500.00

Contracted with Herrmann Bros to build a Four Seasons sunroom on 5/10/18.The project is not completed & they don't accept/return phone calls.
Saw a TV commercial about a Four Seasons sunroom, called their 800 # & a salesman from Herrmann Bros in Green Acres, FL, called us for appt. *** negotiated a price & we went to contract with the expected date of completion to be before Thanksgiving. They didn't even pour the slab until November 30! They then said that the framework was ordered from Four Seasons & to pay the next installment, which we did. We were continuously put off, citing multiple excuses, until given a firm date of the last week in March to be our build date. Since that time, no one at their office accepts our phone calls, returns our phone messages, or our texts or emails. We have been nothing but polite & patient throughout. It's apparent that they have no intention to complete our project & not only do they have our money, but, the slab that they poured is creating a flood risk due to it being only 1.5 inches from our door entrances. After reading several other similar reviews, it is obvious that everyone is complicit in this fraud, ***, et..

Desired Outcome

A full refund of the entire amount paid, including the initial deposit. We must start over with another company, & in the meantime, we must remedy the flood risk issue created.
