In [redacted] of 2014 I paid to have shoes made for me. I have still not received themI paid [redacted] to have shoes custom made for me. I was told they would be ready by [redacted] In [redacted] I was told they would be ready by winter. I have called and emailed and get no response. [redacted] doesn't answer any messages. I have difficulty having people understand me due to my accent, so I have had other people attempt to contact them also, but no one ever answers the messages.Desired SettlementI just want my money back

I have been a faithful follower of Hersey Custom Shoe until last Fall. In order to make a better fit on the shoes I ordered, the owner of HCS suggested using sock casts and sent these casts to my podiatrist, Dr. [redacted] in [redacted] The casting was done on [redacted] Thereafter the shoes were simply not forthcoming. I have an email from me to Hersey dated [redacted] stating that I a putting a check in the mail for [redacted] (the full cost of the shoes). Also an email from Hersey apologizing for lateness dated [redacted] After [redacted] 2014 my numerous email and telephone pleas to receive the shoes (now paid in full) went unheeded. My podiatrist's office also called several times without getting a response. If something has happened to the Hersey Shoe Company to prevent production of custom shoes, then the customers should be informed and their money refunded. If the company is still in business and manufacturing shoes, then it is unacceptable to wait seven months. In my situation, my foot is crippled and I need these shoes in order to walk without pain. Especially given the preparation for shoemaking with the sock casts, these events are unacceptable. Promised 12 to 14 weeks for delivery. The company has now stopped answering emails and phone calls. Voicemail has been full and unavailable for weeks, if not months. Website now says there is an 8-month wait time, but appears to be still accepting orders. I have requested that the company either send me the shoes or refund my [redacted] over a month ago. No response from the company.Desired SettlementThe company should immediately finish my shoe order [redacted] or refund my [redacted] I sent an email on [redacted] requesting the shoes or a refund and let them know I would contact Revdex.com if I did not hear back. My shoe inserts for sizing was not returned promptly as promised. My paid shoes purchase was not delivered at all. My phone calls were not returned.My physical therapist suggested Hersey Shoe Company to build a shoe to fit my bunions. The web search found explicit ordering of which my physical therapist aided for sizing. I understood the product would take up to 6 months to make. I spoke with proprietor a couple times though he only made false promises. There was no shoe delivery. On [redacted] check [redacted] in the amount of [redacted] Was mailed along with my inserts that my podiatrist had made for the pattern fee. There was no returned insert as promised. I patiently waited the recommended 5 months and after numerous phone attempts and email response from [redacted] was that my order was in the wrong bin and that once I send the second check he will put in a rush and my shoe should be mailed to me in probably a week. I mailed the check because as he said he did not cash the first check which I confirmed with my bank statement check was not cashed.Desired SettlementSo I mailed the second check [redacted] for the [redacted] to purchase the shoe. I phoned Hersey Shoe with no return call. My [redacted] 2014 bank statement show the two checks cashed with no shoes in receipt to date. I phoned [redacted] to tell him of my complaint to Revdex.com. I am requesting a refund of $390.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I do not accept their response because they had promised me the product many times before and there was no delivery of product. The business needs to refund me $390. plus return me my inserts. The business needs to send me the product now and if satisfactory I will forward payment. The business will save everybody time and grief if they proceed as described as I will pursue this issue until satisfied.

Ordered shoes 9/7/13. Called 12/6/13 & promised in 2 weeks. No shoes received as of 2/18/14. No response from company after many calls and emails.Ordered a pair of custom Hersey Custom Race Walking Shoes at Fitchberg, MA, on Saturday, 9/7/13. Was told that I would receive the shoes in 12 weeks and to call at six weeks to confirm. Called at about eight weeks 12/6/13 and was told I would receive shoes in two weeks and didn't need to call again. When I didn't receive the shoes, I made the following attempts to reach Hersey Custom Shoe Company to no avail:1) Called and left message on 12/23/14, 1/7/14, 1/10/142) Sent email after 1/10/13 and before 1/15/143) Sent inquiry via Hersey's website on 1/15/14 regarding when my shoes would be completed. Did not receive a response. 4) Sent letter with self-addressed and stamped postcard for Hersey to complete letting me know the date that my shoes would arrive to me on 1/15/14. Hersey did not return the postcard to me.5) Sent certified, return receipt letter containing another addressed and stamped postcard requesting when my shoes would arrive on 2/3/14. Received signed receipt postmarked 2/5/14. Have not received postcard.I sent a check for $335 on or around 9/10/13. Company agreed to remake shoes 1/2 size larger. Shoes were retuned months ago. No response to daily phone calls and emails. Two more orders not filledCompany does not answer it's phone. Voice mail is full. No response to emails. Returned shoes to be remade 1/2 larger in spring 2014. Ordered additional shoes then and also in fall 2014Desired SettlementCompany does not return phone calls. Voice mail is full. Email messages are not replied to. Returned shoes to be remade 1/2 larger upon company agreement. Shoes were sent in spring 2014 with additional paid order. No response. Sent additional paid order for another pair of shoes in fall 2014. No response from company again. Have made daily calls. Left loads of voice mails. Send lots of emails. Still not one attempt by the company to contact me. There is no excuse for this type of treatment to a customer. Company should hire someone to respond to customer communications. I want the checks returned for the two latest orders and a refund of a $175 for the original shoe order which was returned due to a wrong size issue. If the shoes have been remade, then I will accept them instead of a refund. No business should ever ignore a customer, especially when transactions have not been completed.[redacted]

I sent in an order for a pair of shoes 6 months ago. I have not received the shoes, nor heard any information from them regarding the order.I mailed out an order for a pair of shoes along with money order for around 420$ in October 2012. Since then I have phoned numerous times and sent many emails to the company simply asking as to whether they have received the order, and when to expect delivery of the shoes. They have not bothered to reply at all and I have no idea about the status of my order. Desired SettlementEither the product that I ordered, or my money back. Paid for shoes on Aug 30, 2013 and have heard nothing from company.On Aug 30, 2013 I visited Hersey Custom Shoe and wrote them a check $385 for shoes. That is the last I have heard from the company. They cashed to check on Oct 18, 2013.
