I would never believe that a company such as this would order a appraisal of a property, charge people for the an overcharged appraisal and THEN CHECK CREDITIBILITY OF PROPOSED BORROWER.  After which all you get in response is this is our policy and blah blah blah.  Makes no sense why you would do credit verification LAST...  I see I am not the first person they have done this too.  I didn't really think they would care that I wrote to the Revdex.com.  They are a rich company and can do whatever they want to a little person with no money. It doesn't surprise me at all.  BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!Regards,[redacted]

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We take all feedback seriously. Royal United Mortgage contacted Mr. [redacted] quickly after reading the complaint. We went over his loan together and why the loan was unable to be approved. Part of Royal United Mortgage’s sales and education process is to continuously update their clients on their loan status. Due to the public nature of the Revdex.com we are unable to upload any loan documentation or credit reports. Had the findings shown a different result, a different action would have been taken by Royal United Mortgage. Rest assured his comments will be shared with our training department to help improve our customer service.

We take all feedback seriously, thank you for bringing thisissue to our attention. The compliance department devoted many hours andcarefully listened to all correspondence between the loan advisor and theborrower. In the end it is the compliance department’s opinion that theborrower misunderstood...

the impact of the information conveyed to the loanadvisor which subsequently led to the ordering of the appraisal. It is also theopinion of the compliance department the loan advisor acted in the bestinterest of the client. Due to the Revdex.com being a public forum we are unable toupload any loan documentation or credit reports. Had the findings shown adifferent result, a different action would have been taken by Royal United Mortgage.

Royal United Mortgage takes customer satisfaction very seriously. So much so that we provide our customers with a complaint/ comment portal on our website. That portal goes directly to our Compliance department and is acted upon by our Vice President of Compliance. Often we will conduct follow up...

phone calls with individuals as a service/ courtesy to insure proper treatment and understanding but that policy typically does not happen when individuals request that we place them on do not call. Although DNC response is required within 30 days we typically take steps to remove individuals in a timely manner. In this case be assured that this customer has been placed on DNC and has been remove from solicitations. Respectfully, [redacted].

Because of the information provided in your complaint we are re-examining both the events and the internal process we follow to fulfill both client and lead provider satisfaction. Royal United has worked on this file since the notice provided in the original complaint to the Revdex.com dated January 6, 2015. A request was sent to the credit bureau to remove the inquiries after it investigated the events of the file. On 2/5/2015 the credit bureau completed its work with the three repositories and had the inquiries changed so that they would not be reflected when credit is pulled in the future. Additionally, assuming the borrower continued to pay on his credit as agreed, the removal of the inquiries also eliminated the negative impact on the credit score and it reflects credit scores as though the inquiry did not take place.
