We referred him to our singlelady friend to fix her furnace for her and he did a very good job. I was really stressed by a troublesome ongoing boiler issue no other plumber could solve without upselling, billing me inappropriately and changing parts not required. Since the weather turned terribly cold I could now see my hydronic boiler wasn't working properly. I researched many plumbers with anxiety thinking I would have more bad experiences. His knowledge, expertise and ability to fix the huge issue with an economical cost that afternoon has been an immeasurable relief to me for my home. My water tank died on a Saturday morning. The first plumbing company I called confirmed that I needed to replace the HW tank and gave me an astronomic quote to do the job! So, I decided to get a second and maybe third opinion.
A friend recommended Cuthbert Plumbing and I am glad she did.
Scott and his coworker were very pleasant and great to deal with. Scott's quote was fair an included removal and disposal of my old HW tank.
I am very grateful that Scott asked me to verify the exact date the water tank had been originally installed and managed to get the HW tank replaced for free as it was still within the warranty period by two weeks!
Scott was recommended to me from a builder. He installed all the rough in's and shower base for my bathroom renovation. He removed the old tub etc too. He also changed out all the poly B in my house. He came back to install 2 bathroom facets, put the handles on the shower system and installed the new toilet after I painted and put up new tile. He was on time and did an excellent job at a fair price. He is professional and explained my many questions. I had a malfunctioning valve on my shower diverter and he picked up a replacement and installed it the next day for no extra cost. Big thanks to him for that!
