I cannot believe this business. I never used one word of profanity in any way shape or form. My wife and son were present when I was on the phone with Mr. [redacted] and all would be willing to testify under oath to that fact. This is a ploy to have this complaint dismissed based upon a lie that I became profane with them. If there is any proof that this occurred then I challenge them to produce it. If in fact their assertions are accurate, then why did they release my tags to the DMV agent when they wouldn't release them to me?  I consider this complaint to be closed because of the DMV resolving it, not because of anything Hiley Mazda did in any way. The fact that they are resorting to a total untruth to attempt to keep this complaint from being made public, does nothing more than to validate the unethical nature by which Mr [redacted] runs his business.

We have opened a ticket with our DMS system to see if we can get assistance to help with this matter. The taxes were blown out of the deal when the paper work was printed due to a glitch in the DMS system. We are sorry this happen we had no control over it and it did not effect the price of the car....

That being said the customer is still responsible to pay their taxes if we can't get assistance. Once we hear back from our DMS I will give an update. Thank you.

Hiley Mazda of Hurst is ranked 24th in customer service outof 639 dealers nationwide.  We prideourselves on our reputation of honest, reliable, and ethical businessstandards.  We regret that one of ourvalued customers was dissatisfied with the car buying experience at Hiley Mazdaof Hurst. To more specifically address the transaction in question,the customer ([redacted]) signed paperwork on a car purchase that, due to anunfortunate software glitch, did not include the sales tax due on the purchase. This mistake was discovered during aroutine audit a few weeks after the transaction took place.  At that time, we contacted the customer andasked that he make arrangements to satisfy the outstanding balance of salestax.  We apologized for the inconvenienceand explained that even though we attempt to provide 100% accuracy in ourpaperwork, mistakes, while rare, do sometimes happen.  The customer refused to pay the outstandingbalance.  We expounded on the gravity ofthe situation by informing the customer that we would not be able to issue thetags or title on the vehicle until the balance was satisfied.  Again, he refused to pay the sales tax,despite acknowledging that the tax was his responsibility and therebyexploiting an honest mistake on the part of Hiley Mazda of Hurst.  In an attempt to remedy the situation, we paidthe sales tax on behalf of the customer. The customer then filed a complaint with the Department of MotorVehicles. Mr. [redacted] is incorrect in his statement that the DMV forced us topay his tax and issue tags and title. The tags and title were on my desk when I was informed of hiscomplaint.  Additionally, during ourphone conversation, I informed Mr. [redacted] that his continued use of profanitywould result in ending the call. This same software glitch affected eight othertransactions.  All of those customers understoodthat the sales tax was their responsibility as part of the car purchase and willingpaid the sales tax due.   We, at Hiley Mazda of Hurst, feel we have satisfied thiscomplaint.

We have left three message over the last two days at ###-###-####. Customer can call in tomorrow 09/22/16 and speak to Joe P[redacted]

I am not totally satisfied but will take this as a lesson learned and will be selling  this vehicle so I will not have any future business with this company.

Do you really think you can just demand money from someone and they are suppose to give it to you??? You never even  brought this to our attention to fix it. That's your fault! Do whatever you want, but I am done answering these emails...

We will be more than happy to reimburse the customer the $50 for the license plate bracket. As far as the windshield goes the customer was told we would repair it not replace it. The chip was not in the line of sight and it passed inspection. Had insurance paid for it the repair would have been [redacted]e...

the same way. The chip was the size of a thumbtack. We will not pay to replace the windshield, however if the customer wants a new windshield we would provide to him or her at our cost. Thank you.

This is between the customer and the other dealer. The customer never gave us a chance to fix the problem and now he expects us just to write him a check for $1000. We will not be able to resolve this issue with the customer.
