Review: On July [redacted], 2015 I took my car to Hillside Honda to get the Takata air bag recalled performed on the driver and passenger side airbags.

The service was performed, and I received my car back with a 1 inch slice on the passenger side air bag cover, I informed the service writer about it as I am 100% certain that it was not there previously. No one made any mention of the damage and hoped I would not notice it either. I personally perform all service on all my vehicles and have never had any work done to my dash. The service write seemed hesitant that his tech did it, but after a few seconds agreed it could have been done by the tech and said he would talk to the manager.

The manager agreed to repair the damage.

Called a few days later to see if the new air bag cover came in. I asked if I could just pick up the part and install it myself, I didn't feel the need to tie up their shop bay for a minor job and would have felt better installing it myself. Besides having to take a day off from work for this. After being put on hold again and again I was told that there was no parts for the repair. Confused I asked how was it was going to be repaired. They said it was going to be glued.. This is supposed to be a professional place with professional technicians and I feel glue is not exactly part of the "repair"

I warned my family members and I would like to warn others as this place is not a professional place of business.Desired Settlement: I have no real desired out come, however it would be nice to know that the dealership would care to resolve the issue without glue.

Review: I bought a new Honda CRV 2015 from the dealership. When I test drove the CRV it drove fine but the CRV that was delivered to me upon sale has major issues with performance. The car vibrates on drive and the engine light came on after a couple of months. The Honda Service said that the CRV's piston was misfiring and claimed to fix the issue. However the Car continues to vibrate and I dont feel safe driving it.. The dealership refused to refund or change the car and blamed the manufacturer of the car.Desired Settlement: I would like Honda to replace my car of the same model without any charge or receive my full money back.

Business

Response:

Honda has identified the issue as a characteristic of their direct-injection Earth Dreams engine has acknowledged customer concerns regarding this issue. This update offers drivers increased engine torque, however, some customers have reported experiencing a vibration on the driver’s side while the car is both in Drive and Park. We want you to know that we have heard your concerns and are actively investigating the potential issue.” They have also uploaded a video explaining the condition on YouTube. Review: PRIMARY NATURE of COMPLAINT : SALES issues , EXCHANGE ISSUES,

TELL US ABOUT YOUR PROBLEM :

MSRP of car is $24,000

I have to pay $ 44,034.80 at 4.46% APR

I went to HONDA NOV ** I told the salesperson I wanted to purchase a car in first week of dec . HE handed me a paper saying JUST put your name there t[redacted] second he asked me to sign another paper Isaid " I am not purchasing a car now. " . I went back **, to show my husband the car. I asked the finance officer if he could do estimate for me . He gave me a price of $26,295. the MSRP is $24,000++.

I asked if he could do the computation with tax and with finance charges on it . I keep asking about the breakdown of the price again and again . He woundnt discuss it . he said "Don't worry I will take care if it " He asked as to sign papers without giving a copy of the paper. He distracted me each time. He ONLY said "you have 2 options to pay $542.00++/72mo and $400.00+/72month. T[redacted] he discussed tire protect etc .I asks If it is included in the Purchase of vehicle, he said YES it is . he didn't show the paper .

I kept asking about the price , HE WOULD DIVERT our attention to something else . HE did not give me an option.

he just said come back in 2 hours. T[redacted] he handed the key and papers . THEY said they are about to close now because their closing time is 7 pm . NO TIME TO DICUSS. you can drive the car home now. Later on I found out . I bought an OVER PRICED car with all the ADD ONs on it.

w[redacted] the following are supposed to be OPTIONAL :

HONDA CARE $3,300

LO JACK $1,495

tire doctor $515

veh replacement policy $896

key replacement $496

tire theft $605

windshield repair $599

pulse safer TECH $395 ( doesnt all the cars these days have rear window light w[redacted] you press the break?)

LOOKING at my car - plain dashboard, no leather seats , the doors are covered with light gray cloth. I wound have taken another car for $44,000

I went back asking them

if I could EXCHANGE it for another car BECAUSE it LOOKED SO PLAIN for 44,000 and w[redacted] you push GAS or BREAK you would HEAR a loud NOISE. THEY said no .

OR remove ADD ONS (TOTAL of $8,300) - they said they could only remove $3300 and $599(windshield repair ) = $3,899

Kenny suggested that I use the car for a year t[redacted] exchange it after a year , BUT that suggestion would WIPE OFF all the SAID protection he gave which will make the car more EXPENSIVE.Desired Settlement: I WANTED TO EXCHANGE the car badly for a more reasonable price ( I paid $2,000 over MSRP) without HURTING my credit score and WITHOUT paying ALL the ADDITIONAL ADD ONS.

I also wanted to know if there is a time frame where I can return the car ( like 30 day return policy for other purchases )

and should RETURNING IT will COST an ARM and LEG? SHOULD returning charge for the said ADD ONS?

[redacted] purchased a new Honda HR-V EX from us on December [redacted] 2015. She also purchased additional value add items. Those items were presented to [redacted] via a Product Disclosure Form which itemizes each product with description and cost. [redacted] signed the product Disclosure form and authorized those purchases. [redacted] also initialed each line item in acknowledgement. W[redacted] expressed a desire to have those items removed it was explained to her that any item which involved work done to the vehicle or were installed could not be cancelled. She was told that the remaining items (Honda Care Extended Warranty, Windshield Repair Coverage and Key Replacement Coverage) can be canceled and we will initiate that process upon her consent, of which she has not yet provided. [Your Answer Here]

Dear MR.Remy, I AM surprised to hear from you that I PURCHASED the car December *, 2015. Because I went the DECEMBER*, to ask Mr. C[redacted] to remove some of the add ons ($5,000 + $3,300) that I don't want. WHY didn't he do it w[redacted] my sale has not been finalized yet . this issue could have been prevented .After I got the car November ** , I called the ** and I went there in person (DECEMBER *, 2015, Tuesday) to talk to MR .C[redacted] why the car reached $39,000 ++ ($3,300honda care+ $5,000 windshield protect, tire protect etc etc.) + ($5,000) financing = $44,000 TOTAL. t[redacted] asking favor to remove ITEMS that I did not CHOOSE. Response:

To whom it may Concern , Good Morning, As of this moment , I hope HILLSIDE HONDA can review the additional $2,000 above/on top of the MSRP $24,000+ and give me a MORE reasonable price for HONDA HRV EX I've purchased. I am willing to pay the MSRP . And I am happy that HILLSIDE HONDA could take away HONDACARE $3,300 (for we have manufac warranty), KEY REPLACEMENT $495.00 and WINDSHIELD PROTECT $599(for/because my insurance pays for it as well). I hope they could also REMOVE LOJACK stolen recovery system ( I believe having LO JACK is not necessary). I hope you consider my requests. THANK YOU very much ! [redacted]

Review: I was over charged in the retail price of a new car from hillside honda. They charged me $6900 over the retail value and also added optional extended warranty fees into the package without explaining to me this was going to be in the contract. I was taken advantage of by Their sales associate because I went there with my 3 young children and was a bit distracted and they failed to explain the contract they just rushed me through the process and just handed me a stack of papers to sign.Desired Settlement: Lower price that was over charged to me to a fair retail price and the removal of unauthorized items added to package in contract

Business

Response:

Dear [redacted], Please accept our apologies for any misunderstanding regarding your purchase. MSRP (Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price) is a reference point that the consumer and dealer may use for determining the final sale price of the vehicle. It can vary for a variety of reasons ranging from availability, timing or simple negotiation. That being said you authorized the selling price of your vehicle by signing and dating your Buyer’s Order, Retail Contract and Bill of Sale. You also authorized the purchase of the Honda Care Extended Warranty at $3250.00 and the installation of LoJack at $770.00. I have attached a copy of the Product disclosure form for your review. The LoJack is physically installed in your vehicle and is VIN specific which makes it non cancellable. The Honda Care Extended Warranty is cancellable and I would be more than happy to process the cancellation if you desire. I have also attached the cancellation for you to complete. If you choose to do so simply initial, sign and date where indicated. Also, please make sure to include your current odometer reading. Upon completion you may scan and attach it to this Revdex.com correspondence or mail, fax or email it to my attention. Please be aware that the proceeds from the cancellation are not sent to you directly but is sent to your lender and applied to the principal of your loan. If I can be of any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact me. Sincerely,

Response:

Dear [redacted],

Review: [redacted], the [redacted] at Hillside Honda Used Cars, sold me two security systems for the 2013 Honda Fit I bought from his dealership ([redacted]): an Automate and a LoJack. ("You need these. Everyone gets these.") I signed all of the paperwork and the dealership installed the systems.

The next day, I called about getting the Automate removed. The key fob was cumbersome, didn't work well (I have to jam down on the buttons to get it to work, even with a new battery), and I realized I didn't need it. The salesperson I spoke to informed me that there was no return policy on security systems. I expressed my dissatisfaction that this wasn't explained to me before purchasing the systems, and I have since realized that the paperwork I signed explicitly says, "All options set forth above have been fully explained to me." Having no return policy certainly falls under the purview of a full explanation.

In addition to this tremendous omission on [redacted]'s part, I have also learned that I was grotesquely overcharged for these two systems: $1770 for the LoJack and $1525 for the Automate. After calling three Honda dealerships in New York City - Bay Ridge, Paragon, and Honda of Manhattan - I learned that the LoJack should have cost at most $999 and the Automate $435 (both including service). [redacted] took advantage of me to the tune of at least $1861.

I called [redacted] to discuss getting my loan credited for the amount he blatantly overcharged me for these two items. His response was, "Do you understand what you're saying? You probably didn't even speak to a [redacted]. You probably spoke to the parts department." He refused to refund the amount he amount he overcharged me.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the $1861 that I was overcharged.

Response:

I have spoken with [redacted] explained that the Lojack and alarm are installed electrical components and non-returnable. There was also an extended warranty that is cancellable. I offered to have this done but [redacted] had already cancelled it.

As to the issue of price paid for those items, I explained that every sets their own pricing structure and that she authorized the purchase of all items.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]

I never would have consented to buying these products if the business would have made me aware at the time of purchase that they were non-returnable. As I described in my initial report, the paperwork I signed explicitly says, "All options set forth above have been fully explained to me." In omitting the fact that there was no return policy, Hillside Honda nullified that agreement.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Response:

Thank you for following up. Attached is a copy of the paperwork I allude to in my complaint; on the bottom, it states, "All options set forth above have been fully explained to me."

Please let me know if I can be of any further help.

Thanks again,

Business

Response:

Dear [redacted],

You are correct in that the

document states “All options have been fully explained to me”. That same document also has your signature authorizing

the purchase of and confirming your understanding of said options. Because I was

not present during your transaction that authorization is the only determinant

in this issue.

I apologize for any

misunderstanding but installed electrical components are non refundable. As stated in our previous communiqué the

extended warranty is cancellable and you informed me that you have already initiated

that process with American Honda.

If you have any additional

questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

Review: A price agreed upon for a CRV with navigation and leather seats New for $27,300.00. It was agreed upon paper work was drawn and I got the insurance. We left on Saturday evening because it was getting late to return Sunday to pick up the car. On Sunday they started to add other things to the car like bumper to bumper warranty, another coverage for the paint and an alarm system which I did not want. Then they wanted me to finance the whole thing with those hidden costs. I said I rather pay what we agreed upon upfront without any finance. I was they humiliated with my husband and thrown out of the dealership. Was told that the car was no longer for sale and that I cannot buy things for free. It was disgraceful that they do business this was . I was discriminated because I wanted to pay for the car in full. We were bullied.Desired Settlement: I want the car that was offered for the price it was agreed upon with no hidden fees. I should be able to pay for it the way I want to and not be bullied into paying for additional features and financing for it if I have the money.

Review: Financial manger forced me to buy Lojack system and Guarantee vehicle replace policy.I requested to cancel both, but they refused.

I had purchased a vehicle from Hillside Honda on Sept [redacted], however, I was forced to buy LoJack System and Guarantee vehicle replace police by the financial manager Kenny C[redacted] which cost me $3432 more. He tricked me and told me that my credit was weak and I have to buy both of them in order to get my loan approved. I have requested to cancel both of them on Sept [redacted] but they declined. The whole process of buying the vehicle was so stressful because the financial manager was always push me to buy some warranties that I do not need at all. I have waited for this vehicle to be stock for six weeks but w[redacted] I asked them at very beginning, they said it would arrive within 2-4 weeks and they would not refund my deposit if I would cancel the deal. I also asked about my monthly payment for my loan, and he told me to pay the exact amount of my monthly payment for the first 6 months. However, w[redacted] I confirm this information with [redacted]., They indicated that I could pay any amount I want to at any time of my loan. I am not sure why persons as professional as them would have such different answer for such a simple question. As a consumer, I felt so frustrated to deal with them under this unfair situation.

Dear [redacted] purchased a Pilot LX from us on September [redacted] 2015. With that purchase [redacted] authorized an after-sale package that included LoJack and various other value-add coverages. Her authorization was obtained via a Product Disclosure Form, which listed each product with description and cost, and her Bill of Sale, which listed said items by name and cost. Both documents were signed and dated by [redacted] had a change of mind about the after-sale products that she authorized for purchase she was informed that we would remove all products that were not installed or involved any alteration of the vehicle. The non-cancellable items were LoJack, which is installed in the vehicle and is VIN specific, and the VIN Etch Vehicle Replacement Program in which the windows are physically etched.[redacted] agreed to this and signed a General Release reflecting that she understood and would not require any further action in satisfying her issue. She was re-contracted to reflect a reduction of $6000.00 in cancelled products and the matter was considered close. On September [redacted] 2015, I called [redacted] and went over her transaction and her signing of the release which stated that the issue was settled. She stated that she understood but wanted a discount on the remaining items. I informed her that at this point the transaction is considered final and no discount would be given. Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

First of all, I was never told that I could not cancel the LOJACK OR the replace policy before I signed the contract. I did not know I was going to have LOJACK installed in my vehicle, I have waited for 2 hours to get my vehicle and w[redacted] I got my key, I found a device with LOJACK logo, this was the moment that I realized LOJACK was installed already. No one told me this was non-cancelled product until I requested a cancellation. Secondly, I have no choice except signing the agreement. I won't get my partial money back if I refused to sign. Also, For that $6000 extra warranty, that was not my initial request to purchase. I was forced to purchase them because the financial manager told me without purchasing the warranties, HONDA finance would not approve my loan, and this was not true because I get my loan approved with another bank on last week and I am getting a much better rate. I do understand that as a dealer you could sell or recommend warranties to all your customers, and customer could chose either get it or not. But in my case, I was forced to purchase. Please also let me know the answer of this question, why I cannot pay more than my monthly payment at the first six months of the loan..Thanks to everyone helping me with this issue and I am really appropriate.[redacted]

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Your transaction was done with complete transparency and we obtained your explicit permission at every step of the purchase process. Review: I ordered my 8th NEW Honda from Hillside Honda and was met with FRAUD/DECEPTION/FAILURE TO HONOR A CONTRACT and Switch and Bait of a used Vehicle when purchasing a NEW Vehicle!! I had to wait a week for the vehicle to come in and for the DVD player to be installed/ Promised "everything" would be identical to the trade in Honda Odyssey with Roof Rack...Called day before expected Delivery of the NEW Honda Odyssey and was told the VIN # had to be changed in order for me to get the NEW vehicle. I agreed after being told that all was fine and this was common(Told [redacted] that I did not understand the delay after 1 week and they advertise that vehicles are ready in 3hrs, NOT 1 Week!!) I picked up my vehicle with NO instructions on the Busy Hillside Avenue and he quickly left!! I examined the vehicle and noticed immediately Scratches/ Chips of paint/ Oil Stains/ Black Finger prints on the inside of the car and the sliding door not fully closing/ and a large scratch on the front console/ coffee cups/ creamer containers etc. in the vehicle/ Hillside Honda gave the voicemail and never called back/ HE LEFT EARLY!! Called and spoke to [redacted] the Manager who said they would take care of everything/ would give me Loaner Car!! NEVER once did they tell me my NEW car was a DEMO model!! Came and the Loaner car fell through!! Missed 3 days at work and when I picked up the Vehicle ONLY the Scratch was fixed and the roof rack put on/ NOTHING ELSE!! They made me sign a release and it was put on the items NOT addressed since the Honda Advocate is ON vacation for a Week!! After I signed, they inserted the words SHOWROOM ODYSSEY SOLD for the VERY FIRST TIME. Now I am told TOO BAD YOU ARE STUCK WITH THE VEHCILE!! I want a new Car liked I originally ordered and paid for in FULL!! I am a [redacted] and have a [redacted] young child which they were made aware of from inception!! I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]To just say sorry and then to reiterate the same words that they are sorry is NOT enough!! It is an insult after everything My family and I had to endure!! No one should be deceived or treated in the matter that Hillside Honda and Staff did to me!! I will ONLY reiterate that the ONLY reason they gave a 2014 car to me was because they crashed the 2013 AND because they were originally guilty of Illegal actions of Deception/Fraud/ and Bait and Switch!! I lost alot of money financially due to their actions and suffered emotionally as well. My Well Deserved Vacation was cut short because of Hillside Honda's Actions! [redacted] beratement /threats Towards my husband and I were never addressed . Hillside Honda is ONLY sorry that they were caught and have NOT learned from their Actions. Review: I brought my car in to be checked out becuase of a noise I complained was coming from my front tires. This is the second time I mentioned the noise to Honda. I was told I needed news rotors. I was shocked at their price of $1200 and so they offered me a discount and made me feel very pressured into getting the work done immediately. I agreed and reluctantly let them do the work. I was charged $ 1061.13 but noticed that they had changed all four brakes and numerous other things as well. I did not need braked, a year and a half ago, they insisted I needed brakes and so I let them change them. My car only has 27,000 miles and I live on a fixed income because I am [redacted]. I feel that they take advantage of the fact that I am an older person and they make me feel like my car will fall apart if I don't follow theit recommendations. Business

Response:

[redacted] and [redacted] purchased a 2014 Honda CR-V from us on 6/**/2014. They were then offered the opportunity to purchase several after sale items and in the end decided on two (2) of the products.

[redacted] asserts that she was forced into the purchases but as I was not present during her transaction I have only the purchase documentation for clarity. With the purchase of any after sale items our customers are presented with a product disclosure form. Listed on the form are products that are presented to the customer. On the right side are items that were declined by the customer and on the left side are the products purchased.

Also included is a description of the products and cost of said items. Both [redacted] and her husband signed and dated the disclosure authorizing the purchases (attached).

The items purchased were a Tire Doctor-Road Hazard Protection policy for $505.00 and an Automotive Theft Protection System in which the vehicle is permanently marked with traceable identification codes for $1995.00. When [redacted] changed her mind about these purchases a week later it was explained that the Automotive Theft Protection System was non cancellable because the vehicle had been physically etched and could not be undone. The Tire Doctor-Road Hazard Protection policy was cancellable and was processed. We issued a check to the [redacted]’s in the amount of $505.00 and they in turn singed a general release form stating that they were satisfied with the purchase of the automobile and the remaining after sale product (also attached).

We feel that we did all we can do to address the [redacted]’s issues. Everything was clearly outlined and there is no evidence of coercion.

If you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

Review: Salesman mislead me into a false guarantee of a particular make & model. He wrote the make and model on his paperwork; he had me contact an insurance agent with the VIN number of the said make & model; he deceptively asked for my credit card with THE INTENTIONS OF SECURING A DEPOSIT ON A 2014 HONDA PILOT. Once he received the deposit he goes in for final authorization from his [redacted]. Salesman returns to report that the make & model promised could not be delivered because I did not qualify. He offered a less expensive vehicle; different make & model instead; trying to convince me that it was a better fit and more economic for my needs! I was very clear from the onset on what my purchase intentions were and he continually GUARANTEED and CONGRATULATED me on my impending purchase. I authorized a deposit for a Honda PILOT '14; not a Honda CRV!! Upon demanding a refund, the salesman then points to a sign that is clearly hidden from potential customers. The sign alerts customers to the fact that funds may not be available for refund for up to 30 days!!! After disputing their deceptive practice, I left the dealership but then realized that I had not received a copy of anything. Upon returning to the dealership, I was met outside by the dealer who was also searching for me to hand me a receipt from the deposit made. I asked for my copy of the contract that I signed and he said that since I was canceling it, he could not give me any paperwork. By law, I have three business days to cancel a transaction and usually it involves submitting a written request. Without the paperwork, who would I submit this request to?? The dealership has a hold on my deposit of $3,000; preventing me from doing business with any other merchant until I received a refund. The dealer and dealership deceptively secured my funds and then would not deliver on the vehicle promised.Desired Settlement: A timely return of my deposit so that I may purchase a vehicle from a different dealership! Notification to dealership that a consumer complaint of fraudulent sales tactics has been filed!!! Marred reputation with Revdex.com

Hillside Honda [redacted] To Whom It May Concern:

REF: Case #[redacted]; Account #[redacted]

Allow me to express how overwhelmingly frustrated and dissatisfied my wife and I are by what we perceive as an intentionally deceptive sale tactic used by one of your company’s representative to convince us to return one of our preexisting car leases in exchange for a new one about a month before the lease was due to end. As a result of this conning scheme, we are being targeted by Honda Financial Services to pay for an overdue balance of $339.42.

On December *, my wife and I visited the Hillside Honda Dealership to inquire about new leases and offers, since our two preexisting leases, 2012 Honda Accord and 2012 Civic, were ending on December **, 2014. One of the sales representative approached us and immediately begun her pitch for us to get a new vehicle on that same day. We mentioned to her that our preexisting leases did not end until December ** and we had no intentions for getting new vehicles until then. We had already paid Honda Financial Services, well in advance, for the final month for both leases. Without hesitation, she told us that we can lease a new vehicle that same day and Honda Financial Services will return the December prepayment to us, since we are continuing to do business with them. We made certain to confirm with her several times regarding this refund of the prepayment. She emphasized all we needed to do was simply call Honda Financial Services and request the refund, since we are continuing business with them with a new lease. We had no reason not to question/trust her professionalism and know-how, so we negotiated a new lease with the Hillside Honda Dealership for a 2015 CR-V and returned the 2012 Accord that same day (December *).

Note that we would not have leased any new vehicle from this dealership until our preexisting leases had ended on December **, 2014. As a matter of fact, we returned the second lease, the 2012 Civic, to the dealership on December ** and intended to do the same with the Accord, since we had already prepaid the last month for both leases. We obviously had zero intentions of wasting our hard earned money by return these vehicles before the leases ended, because we had already prepaid.

Also, what made this matter worst is when we contacted Honda Financial Services to request the refund as directed by the dealership’s representative, the refund was actually processed and a check mailed to us shortly afterwards. The financing company made no mention that the dealership representative misinformed us, and the last month’s payment for the Accord was actually owed by us to them. Only after receiving a past due notice by mail from Honda Financial Services on January **, 2015 and calling their customer service department, I was told that the payment is actually due by us. According to the representative, [redacted], a note was placed on our account that the refund was issued, because the dealer planned to pay for the last month of the lease. We never requested the refund based on that note; it is erroneous. When we requested the refund, we used the directions given to us by the dealership’s sales representative. [redacted] also instructed us to contact the dealership for further assistance.

As a loyal Honda customer for as long as I have been driving, I am extremely disappointed with the Hillside Honda Dealership and by extension Honda Financial Services. Our confidence and reliability with this dealership have diminished tremendously, as well. This unprovoked incident has made us rethink our intentions to continue doing business with this dealership and Honda, since we were planning to renew our second lease in the coming weeks. Your records will indicate that we are consistent advance monthly payers; well before the due dates. For the record, both 3-year leased vehicles which are now returned are still like new and below the allotted mileages (~17,000 & ~13,000) which equates to significantly higher equity.

I request that this entire matter be thoroughly investigated, and to promptly remove any negative credit rating and other impacts this may have on our records. To reiterate, this entire incident may have been avoided if the dealership’s representative practiced integrity in closing the sale. We strongly do not believe we should pay the balance owed to Honda Financial Services as a result of this deceptive sales scheme; instead, Hillside Honda Dealership should be held liable for this last month’s payment: $339.42.

I expect a response from Hillside Honda Dealership and/or Honda Financial Services by January **, 2015.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Review: -I was told that following features are compulsory to get my auto loan approved. I was also told that I can cancel these features later on and get my full refund for all these features.

"LOJACK, 6YEAR HONDA XCARE WARRANTY, TPP/CFI INC, ROAD HAZARD, KEY REPLACEMENT, NY STAR, POLY STEEL and REMOTE ALRM."

-I was agreed to purchase vehicle at $27,500. including all fees and taxes. But with these features I end up paying $33,961.66 . At the time of purchase they told me that I will get all difference money back which is $6461.66 . After one week I started to request them by phone and emails to cancel all these features but they never did. I also tried calling American Honda but they were able to cancel only 6 Year XCARE HONDA warranty and refunded me $2000. Hillside Honda still need to refund me $4461.66.Desired Settlement: Hillside Honda should refund me $4461.66 for the extra features and warranties.

Response:

[redacted] Dear [redacted],Please accept my apology for any misunderstanding regarding your purchase and allowing me an opportunity to explain the details to you. As I was not present during your purchase negotiations I can only reference the purchase documentation in researching your complaint. As I am sure you are aware the attached Product Disclosure Form is an itemization of the products in question with your signature and date authorizing those purchases. To add clarity to your statement that you were told that these purchases were compulsory to your being approved for your auto loan I refer you to the asterisked paragraph beneath your signature. The second sentence clearly states that you understood that these purchases are not required for credit approval. On the issue of cancellation the Lojack and Passive Alarm are non-cancelable because they are electrical items that have been installed in the vehicle. Items that are also non-cancelable are the Polysteel and Total Loss Protection as they have been physically applied to the vehicle and cannot be undone. I will process the cancellation of the Tire Doctor-Road Hazard Protection ($315.00) and Credit Forget It ($349.00) at a prorated reduction of 50% or $332.00 ($157.50 + $174.50). The Key Replacement Program will be cancelled and refunded at the full purchase cost of $291.00 for a total refund of $623.00. The Honda Care Service Contract has already been canceled by you. Please confirm your mailing address in your Revdex.com response so that I may process the cancellations and have payment mailed to you.Thank you for your patronage.Sincerely, [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]

1) You are saying that poly steel is not

cancelable, but the contract that I have for poly steel says it is cancelable.
