Once a merchant attempts to process your credit card for a purchase the funds are immediately placed on hold in their name to ensure the funds are available (this is called an authorization or pending hold).  Once the original authorization is requested they do not send a second request stating that the transaction is declined or cancelled and the funds remain on hold.
 
Most merchants have 15 days to claim funds from a pending authorization before the authorization is *automatically removed*. However, because of the nature of rental businesses, vehicle/equipment rental agencies and hotels have up to 46 days to claim funds from an authorization.
 
Attached you will find the necessary form to have a Pending Authorization released back to your prepaid [redacted] Plus card account.
 
Please provide this form to the merchant. All fields must be completed before the merchant faxes or emails it back to Customer Service.

[redacted]  --- Below from [redacted] I will accept the Companies return of $500.00 However,The issue was NOT with the product. The issue was with the work itself. The company came out once to do the work and the second time to AGAIN fix the work that was supposedly correct and completed the first time. The duct's install in the house would works find, IF they had been secured to the registers and the truck.  I had to place tape and plastic wire on 4 of the 5 ducts they were suppose to have replace.The same holds true with the trunk, while they attempted to correct the leak in the trunk, twice it was not secure. The tape they placed on the truck came off and was blowing air throughout the crawlspace, of which I knew nothing about until we had to bring another contractor out to see what was going on with the air flow, only to go down in the crawlspace and see the same thing for a third time.  Again, there was not problem with the equipment IT WAS THE WORK done that was defective... I am not going to dispute the comments made regarding  the calls because my job and my phone have caller ID as well as documentation show number made to my phone without leaving message so, I'll leave that untruth as it is.

We had a wedding reception at the Hilton Garden Inn the first weekend in October, 2014. We chose the tent reception area because the Hilton Garden Inn told us it was climate controlled - heated on cold days and air conditioned on warm day. October 4 was a cold rainy day for the wedding. Upon arriving at the Hilton at approximately 3:45pm - with the reception starting at 4pm, the hallway leading to the tent had extremely forceful cold air blowing out of the ducts before the doorways leading in. Upon entering the tent area we were greeting with massive cold blowing air and the whole tent was at 50 degrees or below. This was 15 minutes before the reception was to start. Someone was trying to fix this situation as we entered. However in talking with the wait staff the tent had been cold all afternoon and they just got arounding to doing something before the guest arrived. Needless to say it was extremely unacceptable. Our guests had to wear their coats through dinner and most of the night - all of the night on the south side of the tent.. We have a picture of the thermostat at 5:30pm showing 53 degrees. They called the tent people to help with heat and they arrived by 5, but the effort was too late. The south side of the tent did not get over the high 50 degrees all night long. The north side of the tent did get warmer by 7:00pm. Unfortunately most of the guests on the south side sitting in the cold had already left before the dancing got started. I didn't blame them. It gets pretty bad when the hotel had to put out coffee and hot chocolate to warm up the guests. So we had a reception wearing coats all night long - yep - thats what I had always dreamed of for my child - wrong!!! I will never recommend the tent to anyone. Even though they tried to fix the situation, they failed terribly. Their efforts came way too late. Once the tent people arrived it seemed like it was their problem and not the hotels any more.

Review: The hotel has a sign at the desk that says allow 72hrs for release on credit card. I phoned aftrr the 72 hrs they said aklow 7 business days. I phoned after 7 fays no answer no reply to my voice message. My credit card company has sent 2 release letters in the mean time with no response. Left another vm this morning with mo redponse. Contacted corporated headquarters tuesday of laster week..they replied by email to allow 3 businesd days for this to be resolved...its been 5 no response. Hold still on my credit card.Desired Settlement: Lift the bold on mu crexit card
