Hilton Grand Vacations Company LLC Reviews (33)

DO NOT BUY! Make sure to research reviews prior to attending the meeting and if you already bought, hopefully it is less than 3 days after and you can get a refund! The sales pitch is a complete scam and lie. Hardly anything they sell you on is true. STAY AWAY!

If I could go back in time I would not do this. Just paid my annual fees. Could have used that $1000 on my next vacation.

I was previously a happy Hilton Honors member and naively bought a Hilton Grand Vacation Timeshare. They fill you with lies and fail to tell you it is an investment that will only cause hardships. Please do yourself a favor and never buy in no matter how good it sounds. I was deceived and am now paying for this. They insist it is not a timeshare yet it is worse, its just a pointless waste of money.

I attended a HGV sales offer in Myrtle Beach, SC and I was told that Hilton would buy back the purchase price of the deed. They offer you a number of points to redeem for vacation stays for THOUSANDS of dollars as a down payment, then you have to pay an annual fee for the HOA like fee every year. The price they charge for the annual fees is a little less than what you would pay per night for a hotel stay. They try to make you believe that the up front price for the privilege to be in the club can be re-cooped when you're done taking vacations, but that's a BLATANT LIE. The upfront cost is a scam that Hilton uses to grow their business and you will never get that up front cost back, you'll be luck to get 10% on the dollar back on the initial up front cost. Which they are shamelessly trying to get you to spend up to $96,000. This is a TIMESHARE, which is WORTHLESS and is a total SCAM, backed by one of the largest hotel chains in the world,. The Hilton board should be ashamed to allow this RIPOFF to occur under their name. They use the "First right of refusal" scam to make you believe they will buy it back from you. They will buy it back from you at 10% of your investment, you loose 90% plus the interest expense you paid to loose money. This is worse than a rental car company charging you $50,000 for the opportunity to get free annual car rentals.

Hilton should go bankrupt for STEALING the money of their mostly retired people's life savings.

How the[redacted] can the B B B give the Hilton Grand Vacation Club an A+ rating. 9 out of 10 reviews are negative. That's 90 of 100 ratings are terrible. I will make it 91.

Just the most frustrating, frustrating, frustrating company. Trying to book an Italy property for a date 9 months away. I've been trying for days on end. The date window opens to book, we are on-line at the exact minute, the site says the room is available for those dates, I enter the credit card, and then get a message popping up saying the room is no longer available and someone beat us to it due to high demand. I entered the credit card info literally within one minute. Called and spoke to agent to book and she said there is only ONE room available to reserve at that resort when the booking window opens up. How could that be? How could there be only one room available the minute the booking window opens up? Are the misrepresenting their ownership in this property? Is it shared with another company? When I bought in to Hilton Grand Vacation club, I was assured that I'd have the ability to call someone 24/7. Their reservation agents are not available when the booking window opens up. Therefore, I cannot get help when I need it.

I booked a grand vacation package that included a $200 voucher for a future date. I sent the voucher in ( which has to be the original signed paper), via priority mail. Since it had a trace I know they received it. However I never received the rebate. I called the rebate phone number, that I acquired from grand vacations and they asked me to send copies of the form. I did that, and received a reject card in the mail. I called to follow up, then called to follow up... they are still looking at it. This horrible experience has me suspicious that the work involved is part of their effort to short change customers. After all, the rebate could have been processed electrically much more efficiently. Its a scam in my opinion.

I was scammed too. I got a call from HGVC and signed up for a $199 4 day 3 night stay at Parc Soleil, in an upgraded one bedroom suite. I also paid extra for an additional night for a total of $357. Then I got an email saying I would be staying in a regular hotel room, and when I called they say I would have to pay even more for the additional night. When I protested that I had already paid for the extra night, I was hung up on. Not a good way to make potential buyers happy. I want a refund.

Negative!! Purchasing this time share was the biggest mistake of my life. I purchased this for 3 years and have not been allowed to use it one time. At this point we have spent thousands of dollars and HGV is telling us they cannot sell it and the value is less than 1/4 what we paid for it. This is an absolute scam!! We were lied to multiple times during the presentation.

I have read all the negative reviews and feel bad for those people. We have been vacationing in condos and cabins using our timeshare for over thirty years. We were single, raised two boys, and now our grandchildren, and our timeshare has been a wonderful family investment.
Those complaints that I read, just reading between the lines sounds like from people that haven't vacationed and don't truly realize the cost of a quality vacation.
It all cost money and although we own with two companies, Hilton is by far a more flexible ownership that I would recommend to those that prefer quality.

I was a satisfied Hilton Rewards member utilizing them whenever I could for both personal and business related travel until I was misled into paying for the Orlando Vacation promotion. Normally I politely decline and move on but on this day the sales associate made the offer sound too good to pass up. I was told I could pick a guest suite at any Hilton property in Orlando as long as I completed my reservations in the next 6 months and the only caveat was the two hour presentation for their timeshare and room availability. Once we attempted to make reservations I was told we could not get a suite at the hotel we selected but only a guest room and would need to select another hotel. I had verified with the hotel before I attempted my reservation that the suite we wanted was available so this was definitely a bait and switch. Cramming 4 people into a small room and then having to sit through a presentation is not my idea of a vacation. Hilton has lost my trust and my business. Buyer Beware!

I was told my package was booked and price paid when they offered me the deal for being an Honors member. Then I got an email without my reservation and when I called they said I would have to pay more because a studio was not available and I would have to pay a weekend resort fee. The sales guy that offered me the package said the cost I paid $99.00 plus tax was a final price and the trip was booked. He completely lied and mislead me. The email that I received after the booking was only confirming that I purchased a trip but still needed to call and book it.

I was calling my hilton credit card company when they transferred me to Hilton Grand Vacation Getaways. They offered me a great package to Oahu that seemed too good to be true. Professionally dealing with legal issues, I immediately started to type out all the facts they gave and then asked again to check for details on each major item.
I spoke with Kenzi on Aug. 22nd to confirm the booking and this was what she told me:
a suite with washer/dryer and accomodations for 4 adults. This was repeated. I took the package. We have made plans and other commitments (airfare, car rental) I call them to confirm details and verify a few things and they tell me that it is only a standard room?!? I explain that this was not what I was told by the original sales person and they give me the runaround. We wish we were told accurate information the FIRST time and not AFTER we made the reservations and paid in full. THEY give nothing in writing ( I requested) but they obviously did not want their details expressed. I am disappointed and feel lied to, but am going on the trip with family and so what am I to do.. Hopefully Hilton will read all these reviews and figure out that there is some shady sales operations that is tarnishing their good name and reputation.
