I am rejecting this response because:With the pellet stove over firing I was forced to buy a new after market fire pot on Ebay. I would like to be compensated for the purchase of by check or PayPalBoth fire pots would be returned with stove. Thank you

The Vermont Casting dealer, Dave *** Chimney Sweep has made two offers to the consumer, and the consumer has rejected the offers. Dave is willing to refund the consumer $3300.00. The consumer must work with Dave *** Chimney Sweep for a refund of $

HHT continues to work with Mr*** through Earth Sense Energy to resolve his concerns As indicated previosly, HHT has agreed to cover the expenses incurred as a result of the initial visit that would have been covered under warranty had *** *** *** *** *** resolved earlier Additionally, HHT will cover the expense of having ESE out to Mr***'s home to again assess the stove and make repairs should they be appropriate Per recent conversation with Mr***, he has confidence in Joe from ESE Disposition of the stove itself will be determined after Joe's visit to Mr***'s home As is HHT policy we will continue to work through our dealer network to the best of our ability to resolve Mr***'s concerns Accordingly, we respectfully request this complaint be closed

Since receiving Mrs***'s complaint, the installing dealer, Fireplace Patio and Design, has provided appropriate service Mrs***'s outdoor fireplace should now be in working order Should Mrs*** need further assistance, Heat and Glo can be reached at *** Monday

Pelpro has reached out to Mr*** on 4/27, leaving two messages and again on 5/and 5/leaving messages. We have also reached out by email on 5/with no response from Mr***We need additional information for Mr*** so we can assist to resolve his issues. We have
provided Mr*** with a case number (***) and contact information at Pelpro to help determine correction action

I am rejecting this response because: (Email received from Steve ***)The company that I purchased the fireplace from, HMI Fireplace in Nixa, Mo(###-###-####) contacted me nine days before I filed this complaint and said they needed the product serial number to give to the sales rep
from the manufacturer I provided it at that time and the HMI repI gave it to said she was going to call and give it to them as soon as she got off of the phone A warranty claim was submitted verbally in early January by HMI and that was when they were told that the parts in question only had a one year warranty! I was subsequently charged $for the parts to repair my fireplace I will be glad to provide any other information you need

I have not received an offer of resolution at this time HHI did make an offer over the phone but I would like to see it through the Revdex.com first before accepting.Over the phone, Tammy said home comfort would return our money and take the stove back I just want to see the offer first.Home comfort did look at the stove, however , their own tech said he wasn't sure how to trouble shoot the unit The stove is not functioning correctly.HHI has been helpful in getting to a resolution regarding this matter.I look forward to finalizing this matter.Thanks***

A Pelpro Consumer Care Specialist has reached out to Mr*** on Feb 9th to seek resolution. Mr*** has worked through the vendor to have the appliance replaced. Consumer is satisfied and agreed upon closure of this casePelpro is requesting this case be closed

Hearth and Home Technologies is currently working with the dealer Mr*** purchased his appliance through to resolve his concerns It seems the fireplace front the dealer delivered and installed is not the fireplace front Mr*** expected While this miscommunication between the
dealer and Mr*** must be directly resolved between those parties, HHT is coordinating with the dealer to provide Mr*** with appropriate options for the appliance purchased As such, HHT respectfully requests this complaint be closed

I am rejecting this response because: No they did not make every attemptThey lie and try to push responsibility back onto the consumerMy phone works perfectly so their supposed attempts are falseThe woman I spoke with is very poorly trained and lacked basic knowledge of customer serviceFurthermore I do not need a grammar policeThe woman did not make any attempys at a resolution other than what they already attempted to do which is: Send me a box of parts and let me know I purchased a DIY productTheir products are absoutely not sold or labeled DIY

I am rejecting this response because:I feel quadrafire is dismissing their obligation to their products lifetime warranty against workmanship and structural integrityA crack in steel is a crack, periodIt should have never occurred had the steel been made correctlyA makeshift cover up which requires an additional modification to other stove parts is not the proper solutionThis company should not be allowed to offer warranties to consumers under these termsIt is a failure to comply with consumer protection lawsA written warranty by this company should be honored with an acceptable solution to their clientI will settle for no less than what my warranty states

I am rejecting this response because: I greatly appreciate your good will but once the reimbursement is made to Basic Energy then I would approve of the settlement. Basic Energy stated that they have not been given any instructions on how and when the reimbursement will be done. Please explain the payment instrucitons and when it will occur

Per our records, Mr*** has contacted Hearth and Home Technologies on one occasion regarding his Quadrafire MtVernon AE stove, where he indicated he was generally satisfied with his stove but had questions regarding some noise which were addressed In following up with Home Comfort
Warehouse, the dealer Mr*** has been working with, it seems he's had a number of contacts with them as they've attempted to resolve his concerns regarding the periodic sound of the automated cleaning system Per Home Comfort's recent response to him, attached, they have been diligent in attempting to address Mr***'s expectations and have extended a final offer in resolving his complaint The MtVernon AE has been placed in many happy consumers homes without incident Further it appears Mr***'s stove functions as intended and Home Comfort has patiently worked with him HHT will continue to work with Home Comfort to the best of our ability in resolving this matter and respectfully request this complaint be closed

The Quadrafire 5100i fireplace insert does include a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship The cracks in the baffle support area of Mr***'s appliance are not from manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship but the result of use over the
years since installation The appliance can be repaired with a properly built and installed re-liner kit In good faith, a replacement re-liner kit has been offered at not charge as the initial kit does not appear to properly fit Unfortunately Mr*** has declined this offer As such, we respectfully request this claim be closed

Based on the information provided, record of a warranty claim being received and/or denied for Mr. [redacted] cannot be located.  The serial number of the product is required to further investigate the circumstances.

Hearth and Home Technologies has been in contact with Ms. [redacted] regarding the blower on her Harman Furnace.  We are working through the dealer, McCuin Fuels, to address her immediate concern as well as determine the root cause of the repeated occurrence.  While we will continue to reach...

out to Ms. [redacted] with updates, she can also contact Harman directly  at 800/[redacted] if needed.  Accordingly, we respectfully request this complaint be closed.

After many attempts to contact Ms. [redacted] via the phone number provided and getting an automated message stating the subscriber was busy and to try again later, PelPro attempted to contact her via email.  Eventually, PelPro was able to phone Ms. [redacted] and she was available and answered.  Attempts were made to assist Ms. [redacted] with troubleshooting her PelPro stove.  She was not receptive and ultimately became verbally abusive with the Consumer Care agent.  Should Ms. [redacted] be interested in troubleshooting assistance, PelPro Consumer Care Agents are availabe M-F 8:00 am-8:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am - 2:00 pm at [redacted]  Given PelPro's attempts to support Ms. [redacted], we respectfully request this complaint be closed at this time.

I am rejecting this response because: Although the dealer has contacted me nothing has been done or resolved in a weeks time. Until a new unit has been installed or a refund check recieved the complaint remains. Once and new stove has been installed or a refund check is recieved the complaint will be withdrawn until that time it remains. Also Mr [redacted] is tired of playing games and has done his part in contacting HNI corp if HNI has any questions or would like to resolve this matter THEY can call Mr [redacted] @ ###-###-####.
