If our compressor was still under warranty for five years as of 3May 2014 and their technician broke it then Comfort Experts/Hobson Air is responsible 100%. They did not "push" the freon through it properly, which their second technician admitted when he came out again. The 2nd problem had absolutely nothing to do with a supposed recurring leak, the freon was not low again; their first technician caused the compressor to malfunction and the second tech openly admitted it was the first tech's fault. Also One Time experts actually informed us the compressor was warrantied until 2018 so the second technician with Hobson SHOULD have informed us of this instead of trying to charge us $2,000 and replaced it. Per Hobson's website they replace any part caused due to their negligence 100% within the same season. They are responsible. If they continue to lie, falsify and claim no responsibility then we will take them to court--WITH written statements from On Time Experts validating the warranty terms and the negligent work performed by Hobson Air. We are prepared. Hobson Air: word of warning. Research [redacted], attorney based in Illinois. Never has lost a case.

In regards to Mr. [redacted], at his point, he is not allowing us out to the house to access the issue. We would like a chance to handle this directly with the customer but he is not allowing us to, just demanding that we pay him money for work that he himself did in his attic. We would request that this complaint be resolved in our favor and if necessary, take this one to arbitration.   Thanks

Our second technician stated that the problem was created by the
loss of refrigerant.  The refrigerant was lost due to the leak in the
system, which was found during the first call.  They do not
contradict each other.  The second technician's findings echo what the
first technician discovered when he found the refrigerant leak.  The
compressor problem was not created by the first or second technician, but
from the refrigerant leak that was there prior to our first call, and was found
and clearly noted on our invoice.

To whom it may concern, Mr. [redacted] called us out for a service call on Saturday, September 17th after he found us online. We quoted $79 for the service call for out technician to come out and diagnose the system. We then sent our technician out to the home and upon evaluation, he found that...

the system was low on freon and the evaporator coil was rusted and in bad shape. At that point, due to the age of the equipment, our technician recommended a system upgrade. We went out the following day and provided a quote for that and client informed our rep a couple of days later that he replaced with someone else. We find it unfortunate that he feels we did not do the job we said we would on the initial visit. The charge is valid as we come out and effectively diagnose the problem. Thanks
