Hoffman Weber Construction (Omaha) recently repaired our roof. The professionalism of the people, from assessment, to dealing with our insurance, to timely repair was excellent! From sales, to insurance advocacy, to construction, to after sale service is incredible.
Steve, Lee, Vic, Matt, Lonnie from a admin perspective, the construction crew (I didn't get a chance to get their names because they were 100% doing the business of repairing my roof), were all 100% professional.
I had 3 construction firms bid my roof. I checked the Revdex.com accredidations on all 3 bids. I narrowed my search to 2 companies based on Revdex.com reviews. The company with the highest bid (more than $1000.00 higher) had the worst Revdex.com review. HW had the best reviews and was about $50.00 higher than the third bid. The third bidder reduced thier bid because they were my insurance company's "Roof Crew". The third bidder got paid three times to inspect the roof for our insurance company as the insurance adjuster could not get on the roof.
HW does QUALITY work quickly and efficiently here in Omaha.
I recommend H&W construction whole-heartedly. If you need a roof HW is the best in town!

After extensive hail damage, the assessment of the required repairs was professionally performed and excellent communication with the insurance company facilitate the initial stages. The contracted work teams were easy to work with, committed to excellence in their scope of work and Hoffman Weber ensured that we were satisfied with the work. The quality of our home was increased after the work performed by HW construction. I would not hesitate to use their services again.

Hoffman Weber has started to get things wrapped up. there are still issues, gutter guards still not fixed or replaced . There is also the $ issue to be discussed with all this.

Dear Mr. [redacted],
This response is in regards to Case ID# [redacted] opened November 5, 2015, complainant Ms. [redacted]. Hoffman Weber Construction feels the complaint has been properly addressed. Furthermore, HWC feels the remaining demands of the homeowner are unjustified. She asserts the following:
Work done is inferior, very low class, not as described, junk left around home, new gutter guards not done right, font bow window uncorked, cedar etc.
Work done inferior, done cheaply, incorrect,
1. back door handle replaced with cheaper handle, needs to be hand painted not spray painted so cheap looking on expensive home.
We went above what the homeowner asked by replacing the entire door oppose to just the door handle.
2. Front bow window corking not finished, pulled off window sill covering and broke cedar boards under sill wrap, chipped boards. Boards nowneed to be replaced and painted. He ran out of cork and left itopen under sill. Wrapping was poorly done. These windows are 2 years old and this voids our lifetime warranty !! Needs to be replaced and back the way it was. The wrapping is completely different than original again only 2 years old. This is a $10,000 window. Roof edging is not done correctly as it was 2 years ago.
We have resolved every issue with the front bow window reported by the homeowner. The window warranty is valid, and we have met all of the homeowner's requests for correcting the workmanship addressed.
3. rain guards- Open to roof and water an bugs getting in - notion correctly Suppose to be fattened down.
No rain diverters were put back up so water just flows over top, down spout cut jagged and crooked-terrible . Job then was not cleaned up
We had a Shane come here 3 times told us was going to be fixed and never nothing and this is November, job done in June. Job is incomplete. 3Roof edging-
Unfortunately, Shayne is now a former project manager for our company. Some time had passed as our company transitioned to a new PM. When our General Manager stepped in to address all of the homeowner's concerns, he made arrangements to resolve every issue that was presented. Everything has been fixed that was presented in this complaint besides the gutter guards which we are intent on completing. We have contacted the gutter installer to fix the guards, however, the scheduled gutter guard replacement remains subject to the weather.
Our company would like to note the Homeowner left us a message claiming she will remove the complaint if we take $10,000 off of her project cost. We feel this is unjustified and considering the project is primarily funded through an insurance claim, we have no legal means to do such. On the contrary, such demand extorts our company to a position of conducting unscrupulous business practices.

Fantastic team! The windows installation went very well. The company was also excellent in customer communication which is always appreciated.

This company is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! They were suppose to come to my house to give me a quote on some windows and door installation but they cancelled my appointment twice. The first time, they called me to reschedule the morning of the appointment because the person who was suppose to come, couldn't come anymore. The second time, they called me AN HOUR before the appointment. I asked WHY they were cancelling my appointment this time when my appointment was confirmed 15 hours ago and she said that it was because a big HAIL STORM hit a couple homes and had significant damages that they need to repair those houses before they can come to my house for that quote I've been waiting for weeks. THERE WASN'T A HAIL STORM ANYWHERE IN MN, NOT EVEN A DROP OF RAIN YESTERDAY. I'm not upset that I didn't get my quote. I'm upset about how unprofessional this company is. WHAT A SHAME!! The only recommendation I'm giving to people is to NOT do business with this company.

We hired Hoffman Weber (HW) as a general contractor for storm damage on our house. Make sure you get Waiver's of Mechanical Liens signed by all the subs that do work on your house. HW didn't pay a sub and the sub took us to court. HW said they would take care of this but the sub and us were the only ones at court.
