I made a reservation at this hotel and now I need to cancel the reservation. This is due to travel and visitation restrictions in New York my plans are forced by the government to change. The hotel refuses to work with me. I wanted them to let me use the money I spent on the rooms at a later date but they have refused this and are they are taking my $1900. This seems extreme and unprofessional.
booked this room with *** a third party she never called us to ask to cancel technically she is there customer , This letter is dated March *** and when I go into look reservation it was for 03//20 which was no shows for 6 rooms because they never notified us. I am just receiving this letter today from Revdex.com 03//20 *** has to notify *** to cancel because that is who she booked with.Michelle RGeneral Manager

I do not agree with their resolution. First I tried to cancel my reservation or at least tried to get them to let me use my reservation at a different time. I was never told that I went through a third party to cancel my reservation. As a matter of fact they sent me an email on March *** and told me that they were not going to honor my request.
And second I do not consider myself a no show. I did talk to them. They have refused to work with me. And they only want to keep my nearly two thousand dollars. It is not my fault that New York is under a stay at home order and businesses are shutting down. I wanted to visit New York and only use the hotel as a place to sleep. They told me on the phone that the hotel did not have Coronavirus so basically they couldn’t help me.
