After our contact with the customer we understood they had made a service appointment with Camping World in there area to correct these issuesWe sincerely apologize for the condition the unit arrived to thecustomer, there were obviously areas that were overlooked, vacuuming and boxes left insideHowever the unit was completely serviced prior to deliveryIt is unfortunate the number of issues this unit has developedThey can be repaired, and if the customer lived in this area we would be doing that Tell us why here

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below We do not accept this resolution due to the fact that Holman Motors is the company we bought our Sandpiper from and they were deceitful about the camper being broken in the first placeWhen they're technicians said they repaired it all they did was crammed a couple of washers into the end of one of the arms to take up the slack which is what caused the further damageThis is the repair that we were told [redacted] wants to do againIt did not work the first time it will not work the second time and it does not repair the original damageAs for their technicians we do not trust them to do to work, because not only did they not fix the camper correctly in the first place, they installed the fifth wheel base in our truck backwards We were only able to use the slide in and out a total of timesThis broken camper is of no fault of ours; it is the fault of Holman Motors for selling us a broken camper, to begin with, and then making a faulty repair, also [redacted] for not taking accountability for people who represent themWhen Holman Motors first realized that the slide was broken, before we signed papers, they should have offered us a new camper, instead of saying nothing, and having us go through with the purchase and even then, the salesman not being honest about what was wrong with the camperIf it were not for the technician, we wouldn’t not have known about the slide issue until we went to use it the first timeWe were under the impression that they were fixing an electrical outletFurthermore I am not hauling my camper all the way back to Ohio, which is a straight hour drive each way, for repairs, considering I live in New Hampshire Regards, [redacted]

Spoke with the customer today and agreed to disassemble the trailer floor underbelly to look for the cause of the depression in the floorIf nothing is conclusive from the underneath the linoleum was discussed to be removed from the top to look for the problemAfter disassembly customer will be notified as to what we find and how to proceed form there

I am looking for Holman RV to actually provide an inspection of my needed RV Repair and provide photos and acknowledge if it is due to the original claim of a Manufacturer defect or if it is due to an improper repair that they made in Oct on my roofThe floor is dangerous and clearly not an issue caused by wear and tear of a lightly used RV that is years old since purchasing new from their showroom floorHow can they even determine that by walking through the camper and looking at the floorI am asking for a refund of at a minimum the current loan value since the camper floor can not be like new after this type of repairI have summarized the communications with Holman below My [redacted] camper is kept on private property and is in pristine condition 4/Purchased a RV new off the showroom floor used camper less than times in and 10/2015- had stick pierce the roof and had a new roof put on by Holman which was approved by [redacted] 4/picked up camper from Holman after repairs 4/16-9/used camper times and never towed it 3/22/opened camper for season and discovered issueCalled [redacted] 4/1/they looked at Rv and said take it to Holman for an estimate 4/12/Holman called me (Jim ) and stated It has a serious manufacturing defect in the main floor areajim from Holman stated this could not have been prevented, nor repaired and is a serious safety issueThe recommended that I contact [redacted] for approval to do an out of Warranty claim and that they will not repair the floor but [redacted] typically refunds or replaced the model since it is so new 4/12/17- I contact [redacted] and was told to submit the claim 4/22/I have hired an attorney since neither Holman or Dutchman will return my calls or accept any claimI went to pick up my camper on sat 4/and the paperwork stated that the floor was squeaky and weekI asked for it to be clearly written that it was a manufacturer defectScott Kthe service manger said absolutely they could do that, but the initial inspection was not completeThe initial inspection was for water onlySo I was to leave it there so they could look under the floor from under the camperApparently they only walked in the camper and looked under the vinylIt is like having a roof leak inspected and they look at the flashing from the driveway and say well its not from the flashing and never go any further 4/25/I get an email that they have written a 11K floor estimate that says it is from walking around in the camperso using a camper less than a dozen times a year breaks the floorI am and lbs its not like I am obese and causing excessive damage even if that was the truth I asked for a real estimate and they will not tear the floor up or identify what the issue is other than state that "They believe it is caused from"As a long time Holman customer you would think they would help me find the issue They also stated that while they kept the camper another days they did no further inspections because "They believe it will not yield in any different outcome" 4/25/ in Summary The camper has been used lightly over the past years and is in new conditionThere is no way this is wear and tear and will cost 11, to repairYet Holman refuses to do a true inspection and suddenly refuse to document the actual cause of the floor damageThey have had the trailer for weeks with the expectation that they were removing the vapor barrier and looking at the underside of the floorI am now having to get my attorney involved just to get an honest estimate and description of the issuePlus I will have to get a second opinion and all other RV shops are booked till JuneHolman is covering up shoddy roof repairs from and is hoping that I will go away if they make this difficult enoughThey owe me a refund at a minimum and I have lost some seriously valuable family time this spring with my family Ethically, I can not sell the camperHolman wont take it back or in trade even at a financial loss to me [redacted] acknowledges that this is a common issue but states that we are outside of the year warranty [redacted] a said they commonly see this type of issue in vacuum sealed floor construction after 3-years of use It appears that the [redacted] State Attorney General is also aware of quality issues with [redacted] / [redacted] and is collecting claims since I owe $25, on this Rv and can not use it, sell it or repair it? If I try to repair it I alter the physical frame construction and void all my extended warranties that I purchasedI am afraid to have my family inside & continue using it as isThe dealer originally stated that someone will eventually fall through the floor and there are mechanical parts and motors beneath that sectionI have been in contact with [redacted] President Troy Jand would like to sue them for a refund or a like replacement with a different floor construction, he initially responded to me but will no longer return my emailsI wonder how many other people are having this issue and just gave up after [redacted] said noI am not willing to take no for an answerThe camper (my 4th) was purchased to provide quality family time with no internetNow it would be dangerous to use? It is like build a house with non pressure treated wood that you know would not last and saying well there's a year construction warranty, sorry folksAll my other campers were much older than this and never had any issues

Holman Motors allow customers to test drive our vehiclesWe do not allow vehicles to be taken for extended test drives or extended time prior to purchaseWe will inform customers all work performed on a vehicle when requestedWe were unable to complete a transaction with [redacted] as a result of him unwilling to to pay for the vehicle

We contacted the customer and made arraigements for us to pick his unit up on Monday 11/We have completed the repairs to the slide out and have contacted the customer, letting him know all repairs are completed and at no charge to him as of todays date 11/Mr [redacted] is planning on picking his unit up tonight from our facility

It's unfortunate that Mr [redacted] is having issues with his new camperThis matter is complicated by the distance the customer lives from his selling dealerWe have contacted the manufacture of this camper and asked for there assistance in resolving these issuesA Forest River representative will be in contact with them to assist with repairs

I have reached a mutual agreement with Holman Motors that resolves my complaint and I consider this issue closed.I believe Holman Motors treated me extremely fairly throughout this entire process[redacted]

We have contacted the [redacted] and have agreed to sending them stabilizing jacksWe have asked them to ship us the radio DVD player and when we receive it we will replace the unit

We are sorry to hear that Mr. [redacted] has had some difficulty with his truck after he purchased it from us. The truck was sold as is (buyer beware). The service records show a pre-owned vehicle inspection was performed. The oil and filter were replaced, wiper blades, broken switch was replaced,... replaced steering idler arm and right inner tie rod, performed alignment. As you can see we did service this vehicle and if there were a SES lite on we would have addressed it as well.

[redacted] , our sales manager has contacted MrSimpsonWe have issued a reimbursement check for the Value Guard Pkg that he purchased at a total of $We discussed with this supplier if there product voids the manufactures warranty and was reassured it did not

We spoke with Mr [redacted] on Wednesday, August 10th and it was agreed the work work would be performed under the terms of the warranty no later than Wednesday, August 17th

We will contact the manufacture to let them know the consumer hasn't received a check for compensation
