This customer contacted our company approximately 1 month after their move was completed to tell us that she was missing some banks from her move. She stated...

the banks were in a carton and clearly marked "banks". I did explain at the time that our crews are instructed to not move any currency of any kind and that we had a form signed by the customer on the day of the move stating that they understood the policy. Our claims procedure was explained to the customer and we requested a letter be sent to our office detailing any items damaged or missing from the move so that a claim could be processed. We asked that a copy of the bill of lading from the move be included. We interviewed each and every crew member from this move. None of them recalled seeing a carton with "banks" listed as the contents. We were informed that the customer was not completely ready to be moved when the crew arrived. They were still packing cartons at the time the crew arrived. This is the main reason the move took longer to complete than what had been estimated. We have no specifics to show our crew loaded this carton or that the carton even existed. To date we have not received the written communication from the customer in regard to any damaged or missing items. We cannot open and process a claim without proper documentation.

As stated previously this customer has not sent through a claim to our company. We have asked to have a letter sent via US Mail. Since there are computer issues as stated in their letter, we have mailed a claim form to the customer for proper processing. We do need documentation to open a claim for damaged or items not delivered. The movers stated they were not given instructions that certain boxes were not to be moved. The customer was on site with the crew during the entire course of the move. We simply charged the customer for the time the move took to complete. We ask them to sign that we have removed everything from the house as requested. No calls were made on move day regarding the movers not taking instruction or moving items not requested. The customer was aware ahead of time that the final charges were based on the actual amount of time taken to complete the move based on the quarter hour. We would like to make everything right for this customer and are sending out claim forms to make sure they have the ability to provide proper documentation.

Warning do not ever ever ever ever use this company. This company is very deceitful and unprofessional! I signed a contract for my belongings to be transported from Chicago, IL to Alabama on November 17, 2016. My furniture was to arrive on 11/22/16 no later than 12/7/16. I called on 11/27/16 to follow up on the delivery. I was told by Rosa my belonging were still at the local ware house and they were waiting for a driver who was taking that route. I asked if someone could come back and pick up a piece that was left off the truck. I was told they couldn't because the items were over weight. I was told I had to pay an additional 500.00 over what was quoted on a sign contract. I continued to call and spoke with Dalia who would never confirm a delivery date. Managers don't call you back and follow up. Jim, Tyler and Joseph didn't offer any help and supposedly they are Managers. I received a call on 1/6/17 stating my furniture would arrive on 1/7/17 FIFTY DAYS LATER. I spoke with Joseph who was very rude and threaten if I didn't pay CASH he would call the driver Bill and have him pass my stop and continue on to Mississippi. This company should definitely NOT be rated A-.

will be delivered them on the next shipment we have going through [redacted]. The customer was made aware of the these items not being delivered as of yet and alternate dates have been provided.

We had contracted Advanced Moving & Storage to do our moving from Chicago to Dallas in July 2016. What happened after they picked up our merchandise has been OUR WORST NIGHTMARE. This father-son duo is the MOST CROOKED team to work with. We were promised that our delivery will be made in 10 business days & we ended up receiving our merchandise in 2 separate shipments after 68 DAYS. ! ! The son Tyler is a the front guy who will sweet talk his way until you give them the contract & then the father Jim takes over. I have never seen a more RUDER & completely dishonest & unprofessional/discourteous person than this guy. Both the father & son will refuse to answer or take any of your calls & have instructed their front office staff to give customers a standard reply with NO definite answers about the whereabouts of their merchandise. I wrote 31 emails to Jim & Tyler literally begging them to release our merchandise. They would ONLY reply to our emails after we wrote 4 times & that too NEVER answering our questions or give us any delivery timelines. I had to involve the Police to have them release our merchandise, which they were holding onto illegally. We had to stay in hotel for many days as we were without our luggage & in spite of my repeated requests, they have REFUSED to even acknowledge my request for paying me the charges for my hotel & other expenses. My family went through tremendous mental & physical trauma & my kids fell sick during our stay in the hotel ( I wrote this incident to the owner who never even cared to offer a apology) The driver is also a part of the whole clandestine operation. The owners Jim/Tyler will speak to the driver to make sure the driver collects the remaining balance BEFORE he opens the doors of the truck when they come to deliver the goods (AGAIN they delivered my merchandise AFTER 68 DAYS) & REFUSE to speak to me. The company has ONLY 1 Trailer & 1 Driver who does ALL the driving & we were constantly told that the driver was unavailable for various reasons like he was undergoing a operation, his mother was sick etc. To this day, they have not even compensated me for the delay in delivering our stuff in spite of my repeated requests. I have ALL the emails I have exchanged with the duo & will be very happy to share with ANYONE who wants to see the FRAUD that is being committed by this HIGHLY UNETHICAL company. I am pursuing this matter with the Attorney General to make sure this Company does not CHEAT/ DEFRAUD other customers.

Swift, safe and sound moving services by Advanced Moving and Storage. The movers are friendly, courteous and efficient in their work.

I trusted my move to Advanced Moving and Storage. I filled in the contact form on their website and received a call from their office within the hour. Their movers came to my place on time and safely moved my boxes to my apartment. Thank you very much.

number of unforeseen reasons your move could take longer to complete than estimated. Also when you scheduled your move it was explained to you by our office move coordinator you worked with in setting up your move that the actual cost of your move could vary. Enclosed please see a copy of the document "Move to take longer than the original estimate form signed by you where narrow exits, hallway, or entrances are checked. As for payment for your move, Advanced Moving & Storage charged you exactly for the time we worked. The movers refunded you back $100.00 as all the time you paid for in advanced was not used. There were no charges for any packing labor only for cartons used. Enclosed is a copy of your Bill of lading #XXXXX with the actual charges. Also as a customer courtesy and in affect to maintain good customer relations we have enclosed a one hour $125,00 refund check. In the future if you find that you are in the need of moving services we hope that you will think of Advanced Moving & Storage. We will also offer you a $100.00 credit on any future moving services.

I accept the refund of 1 hour, however the company provided an estimate for time required to complete the move that was inaccurate by more than 50%. This type of error is unacceptable, I hope that in the furture the company reevaluates their estimation process in an effort to improve accuracy. I will not use this company again, as their estimates are not reliable.

I Contacted my bank, Still have not received a refund from this company. They will not return my phone calls or my banks phone calls. They have been completely unhelpful.

We have confirmed with our credit card processing company that the fund were returned to this customer's bank and the transaction was completed on July 11, 2014. This information has been provided to the customer as well. We have done all we can do to assist in the return of this customer's funds.

Advanced Moving and storage helped us with our local move in Milwaukee. They were well within our budget and the movers were quite courteous and dexterous in packing, loading and unloading.

I do not accept this response. It is now 45 days past our initial anticipated delivery date of June 23rd. As of this morning there is no anticipated delivery date and the load is still in Chicago.

This Customer's household goods were delivered on Saturday August 16, 2014. Our company did provide a delay compensation to the customer as a courtesy. We have had no further communication from the customer.

I hired Advanced Moving and Storage to help me move my furniture and utensils to my new apartment. Best money I ever spent!

I accepted $427.67 to settle my claim for $1,592.25 in damage to my household goods shipped with Advanced because Advanced steadfastly resisted arbitration & it would have cost me way more than $1,592.25 to file a lawsuit to force arbitration & there is little likelihood that Advance would have paid an award since Advanced has been duplicitous in dealings with me since the moving contract was signed. My claim is resolved, but not satisfactorily. Please do post my response on the Revdex.com website. Advanced has numerous complaints filed against it at the [redacted] of [redacted] by unsatisfied consumers & an internet search of consumer complaints against Advanced yields many complaints (& sparse praise). Had I known of this complaint history I would not have hired Advanced. Other consumers should have access to my experience with Advanced in determining whether to hire this mover. And, the Revdex.com should definitely not rate this company at any type of A level.

These folks destroyed a brand new $1000 marble table and will not take any responsibility for it.

My husband and I were extremely impressed with your company! The team was professional, polite, and knowledge, capable, friendly, and extremely careful with our belongings! They take pride in their job and this reflects positively on your company! We will definitely use your company again next time we move! We will also give a glowing recommendation anytime someone we know is planning to move! Thanks!

The customer service rep point-woman for my move - was very knowledgeable and quick to answer all of my questions on the days leading up to the move. The movers were on-time (early even), extremely courteous, explained the entire billing and moving process in detail before I even thought to ask and were very fast... but safe with my property and the tight corridors of both the home I was leaving and the home I was moving into. No damage! This had to be the single best and most stress-free moving experience I have ever had. I'd be glad to do business with ADVANCED again in the future.

When I wanted to move, I looked around for movers and found that Advanced Moving and Storage had the lowest rates. Hiring them was a good decision because my move was methodically planned and well executed. Thumbs up.

When I had to move, I couldn’t get time to pack my furniture so I hired Advanced Moving and Storage to pack heavy furniture in time for the move. The packers were friendly and worked diligently.
