Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. They brought my website up to my satisfaction and gave me other incentives to correct the issues as well.I would like to make this issue resolved if possible.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[The site was launched on 10/21 however I was not given instructions on how to log in to the back end until Monday the 26th. At that time I expressed concern that none of the inquiry forms were forwarding to my email. I had some other concerns about photos I had sent that were not uploaded. I performed several test inquiries and was not notified in any way via email or text. Since I am a professional in the field this is very important. My account manager, [redacted] said she was working with the developers to resolve the issue and didn't know why they were not forwarding to my email address. She also indicated that I would be able to upload my own photos, but then later said the developers would have to do it- which they never made the corrections. I made several attempts to follow up with [redacted] on the 27th through the first week of November and got zero response. Finally on the November 6th I was told I needed to talk to [redacted]'s manager, [redacted]. On the 9th I finally reached Ms. [redacted] and I explained to her again that none of the test inquiries had been sent to me via email. She insisted that the site was working perfectly and refused to help me in any way. Since this time I have done additional research on the company and see there are many real estate professionals who have had the same bad experience with this company, taking their money and not delivering as promised. The sales representative, [redacted], who sold me the product completely misrepresented the sites capabilities and ability to avoid paying a $99 monthly service fee. When I first spoke with [redacted] back in September she said that none of the sites functionality would work if I took my site off of the Home Junction servers. This was not what [redacted] said when he sold me the product. Overall I am completely dissatisfied with this company and how they have handled this entire process. I want my money back.  ]
Regards,

As detailed in Mr. [redacted]'s complaint, and the attached contract, he purchased a mobile responsive website featuring a suite of data plugins, and extensive page buildout from Home Junction on February 16th, 2014.  Mr. [redacted]'s site was completed, and with his permission, pushed live to...

timeforhomes.com.**

Upon notice of Mr. [redacted]'s difficulty with site analytics, his monthly billing was held.  The single month that Mr. [redacted] was charged for was refunded.  Analytics were installed on his site.  When this matter, and that of the home valuation address capture was brought to the attention of the Director of Support, Mr. [redacted] was offered a rebuild of his site on our newest platform, and informed that the home valuation tool would have the requested feature added as rapidly as possible. This conversation occurred on July 22nd.  The site in question was rebuilt ([redacted]), and Mr. [redacted]'s feature request was built into the plugin in question.  Both items were completed in a timely fashion, and site was in condition to launch on 8/28, although Mr. [redacted] was offered the option to provide input and have edits made to his specification.

In that time, Mr. [redacted] opted to employ a lead generation company to supplement his marketing. Everything that Mr. [redacted] purchased from Home Junction has been provided, and we will provide him with his site files at any email address he sees fit.  Should Mr. [redacted] like to continue service with us, we will reinitiate services and hosting.

This company's sales department lies. Everything they say is a half truth.

This company didn't do what it was suppose to do for my company. The contract was in two parts. They have the nerve to tell us they will credit the near 10k they charged us to our second contract seeing as they failed to deliver on the first. The second contract is useless without the first. Also, they are going to attempt to hold us responsible for 24k more over the next year as we signed a contract that they failed to deliver on and admitted it in email.

Save your money and frustration! Bought this website over 2 years ago and I was promised the moon and got a dirt clod. Selling agent talked me into a bunch of bells and whistles and promised me I would be like at the top of Google Search in no time at all. She also gave me her personal cell # which had an insurance agency mentioned in the message recording (there was my first hint). I have in the past had associates try and leave me their contact info to test out the auto response on the website and I never received so much as 1 single text or email let alone some new home buyers info, but I still kept it because I believed her and 1 day I would get my ROI. But the final straw was recently when I logged onto my website to ask one of my techy realtor buddies for his opinion of my Home Junction website and low and behold the bottom of the website page was cut off and at the top of the page. He said to me"WTH is this garbage"? In my embarrassment I said to him that it is a website that I should of never bought and now I am finally going to cancel. Stopped payment last month and the Rep from billing called me, I told her my disgust with her company and I want to cancel and a refund of my last $99.00 payment.

Review: Product not as described, product not delivered. When I asked for a refund I get zero response. They delivered a website that does not function properly. I tried working with them to correct the problems to no avail. Salesperson made false claims about monthly upkeep payments.Desired Settlement: I want my $1850 credited back to my bank account and $99 for a monthly service fee from before the website was ever delivered.

This customer complaint is inaccurate. The facts regarding this project are as follows:

Review: I was solicited by Home junction about 2 years ago. I decide to give them a try. They sent me paperwork to fill out for my IDX access. I filled out the paperwork and they set up the widget on my account which the set up fee was about $350 back then. The widget did not work because they either lost my paperwork or somehow never received it. If you went to my website, you can see the widget but it was never activated and did not work. Meanwhile, they have been charging me $49 for the last 2 years. When this became known to me in October this year, I contacted [redacted] and asked her to look into why it was not working. She sent me an email back confirming it was not working because hey never had the paperwork to connect to me MLS. I asked her for a refund for the last 2 years of billing which she said she would discuss with billing department. I also exchanged emails with [redacted] on 10/23 who also confirmed that it was never working and I would be getting reimbursed. After several emails back n forth with [redacted], billing contacted me and said no refund. They somehow think its ok to charge someone for a service they do not provide and never provided.I reminded them that I am the customer and it is not my responsibility to make sure they are connecting the widget. I went under the assumption it was working this entire time. Never ONE TIME during the entire period did ANYONE from Home Junction ever contact me and tell me that they did not have the paperwork or it was not connected. They dropped the ball and now want to make me pay for their mistake.Desired Settlement: I expect a full refund for the charges made to my account

About Home Junction

Home Junction is a data driven company, having compiled over 90 unique data layers, including MLS for

sale data, U.S. homes, businesses, schools, community features, demographics, parks, topography,

boundaries, crime, and much more. Integrating these unique data sets into a defragmented, real-time,

interactive search experience that is visually engaging and personally relevant to the user creates a onestop

information source for a real estate professional's website. Home Junction's mission is all about

creating a consumer real estate online search experience that is unparalleled anywhere else, and our

strategy is all about empowering real estate professional to deliver that experience. Our desires are to

continually improve the Spatial Match experience in order to develop brand loyalty for the host website

and support the local Agents and Brokers as experts in their respective communities. Our intention is to

assist real estate professionals in enhancing and leveraging their own brands.

About Home Junction's SpatialMatch® for Real Estate:

Spatial Match is an embeddable application that functions as a multi-dimensional search engine and

crowd-sourcing platform for portal, media, banking, and real estate websites, including broker, agent, and

MLSs. In addition to gee-spatially displaying market, Meta, and MLS data to prospective buyers,

SpatiaiMatch also displays details on not-for-sale U.S. properties. When a user chooses a location 'filter'

(e.g. housing, school, type of business, etc ... ), it is represented on the map by color-coded circles, each

centered on their respective lat/long coordinates, with a radius equal to the user-selected distance. When

multiple filters are engaged, finding areas that meet all qualifications is as simple as noting where the

circles intersect. Search returns are automatically filtered, so that only those that fall within these

overlapping areas are displayed. Real estate and all other content and meta-data are displayed geespatially

and "'80 million U.S. properties are included in the database, regardless of whether or not they are

for sale. Users search houses based on any combination of innovative parameters relating to

neighborhoods, demographics, education, lifestyle, topography, geography, and more, thereby enabling

users to create and process unique, personalized, and extremely relevant property searches. Major

differentiators: deep and unique data, integrated real-time gee-spatial search in a single unified

component.

STORY SUMMARY

[redacted] signed up for our service on November 7, 2011. Monthly billing for this service automatically

starts thirty days after set-up fees are paid. The client is emailed required MLS paperwork to complete and

sign. He was emailed this paperwork on November 9, 2011. It is the client's responsibility to complete

paperwork with required signatures and return to us. We emailed client more than once requesting

paperwork. Home Junction subscription terms state no refunds on set-up or monthly fees.

March 6, 2013 Home Junction Customer Support Supervisor sent [redacted] an email and left a voice mail

message to follow up with client regarding status of his account.

October 2013, client contacted us requesting a refund, although stated he did not want cancel his account.

He said he likes our product and would like to keep it, although wants a refund. We in response offered the

client two free years of service, and let him know we still need the required paperwork completed. The

client only wanted his money back.

We have made several attempts to resolve the issue with the client although a lack of responses over the

last two years on his end has left us with follow ups and still no signed paperwork. This account has put in

time from different departments within our company; engineering, client support, and billing. We still

continue to attempt resolve the issue and keep the client happy by providing service he wants. We felt if he

indeed likes our Spatial Match product and does want to keep it, two years of free service was a fair offer.

Respectfully Submitted,

HOME JUNCTION, INC.

Review: Home Junction sold me on a semi-custom website for my business, promising me help with SEO optimization, they have failed to deliver this and their sales staff who made the promise has stopped all contact. The billing department actually answered the phone the first time and then did not return any phone calls until I contacted another department and insisted on speaking with someone. All they can say is I signed a contract and they are refusing to refund a substantial amount of money $1000 to be exact claiming they cannot refund for set-up fees, however they have not done any set up as of yet, because I have not provided them the necessary information for setup. The reason I have not moved forward with providing the information for set up is because I realized after my five minute call from the project manager that everything discussed in a previous 1.5 hour sales call had not been relayed and at that point is when I questioned everything I had been promised. The purpose of my contact with the project manager was only to introduce herself nothing else and she was rather irritated that I expected more, claiming we had a disconnect.Desired Settlement: I would like my money refunded and to make sure other agents do not get stuck in this same mess.

Business

Response:

After reviewing phone records of conversations between the sales rep and the client it is evident that the sales conversation, which lasted nearly 1.5 hours, consisted primarily of introducing Home Junction products and their ability to enhance client’s internet presence. Discussion included in-depth explanation of how HJI tools are created for user-friendly, hyper-local search engine optimization (SEO) specifically in relation to client’s target market. Back and forth communication also included client explanation of expectations which were confirmed attainable from the salesperson. Following the sale, client was contacted by a project manager in order to make introduction and discuss the project moving forward. Phone records of this call indicate that the client was not prepared to discuss the project and had no interest in discussing needs with the project manager stressing that the PM should already know what the client wanted based on the sales call. It is HJI procedure to begin all projects with an introduction from a project manager in order to clearly articulate the scope of each project based on individual client needs. It is our experience that most agents do not remember much of anything after the sales call which is the primary reason for the introduction call. Client refused to continue call with PM after several attempts from PM to get the conversation on track. Attempts to reach out to client following initial call with PM were unsuccessful. HJI stands by its products and commitment to excellent customer service. We are more that willing to continue the project and schedule a new appointment between client and our director of client relations at client's earliest convenience. Our contract does include a No Refund policy based on back end work that begins immediately upon sale.

Review: I contacted this website company to setup a real estate website for my wife and myself. I explained the important items needed in a website that we needed and [redacted] our sales rep guaranteed the items we need would be feasible and could be completed by their company HomeJunction. He told myself and my wife over the phone that their websites had the capability "like their competition" to offer the following feature. When a potential client comes to our website to "find the value of their home" enters their address and hits generate however then does not move forward and generate the value of their home that the site would capture the potential clients address.

[redacted] on a call with myself and my wife told us that this is a feature they offer and would be included with our website at launch. I explained to him in detail that of all the features in a website this is the most important to me because I will be targeting sellers and as he knows his competition offers this feature and that I would not signup with his company if this was not a feature. He assured me that this will be included at launch and after that I signed the contract to move forward.

After months of having the website, not only did the above feature not come with the website but there were issues upon issues!

I signed up for the website on Feb 19 2014. On July 16 2014 I requested the traffic statistics to my site and again asked for a manager to get involved and refund my money for the site due to it not offering what I was promised. I was told that they failed to include the tracking of traffic and cannot provide it. After months of requesting managers to get involved I finally got a new manager that was just hired to contact me on July 21 2014. I explained all my issues and included the above issue as a major concern. I also requested all of the traffic that the site has had since launch because I had spent a lot of money on advertising and driving traffic without any type of leads whatsoever.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of all money spent with this company of $4,798 all paid up front. I know that they did a lot of work on this website however they would never have completed ANY work if they did not promise a feature that they never were able to provide. If on the sales pitch [redacted] would have told me THE TRUTH that they could not offer the feature of capturing the seller address like their competition and not try to illegally bait and switch me, I would never have signed the contract or moved forward with HomeJunction Inc.

To prove this fact, when Nicole the manager finally told me that this was not a feature they could offer at this time and would probably be offer on their next upgrade of the site I immediately signed up with their direct competition I have been speaking about.

Horrible company. Lies and no accountability. The product is great however everything else is a wreck. Never respond to calls for support, and waiting 8 months to get a simple issue fixed. I am embarrassed for the owner and his father.

Review: A telemarketer from Home Junction contacted me on Feb 7 to sell me a product- a software for realtors.I am on the do not list and I told him that I am not interested. On February 10, this sell person contacted me again and from word to word we talked on another product that I am in a negotiation with another company for a specific website. He told me that he can do the same with less money. He connect me with the sell person that should send me a quote for THIS SPECIFIC website.IT SHOULD BE A COPY OF website that listed www.[redacted].com. The quote was very un clear and I requested clarification, as I am not a website person I don't understand in pages and site building. I was very careful asked a lot of questions, and the sell person was so slickly and promised me that I will get exactly what I want. She send me a contract with very small letters and didn't disclose what was inside the contract, she just pushed me to sign quickly and it was electronically. When I asked her what I am signing for she told me, no worry, this is only that I will pay for the order that was agreed on.. I was pushed to pay all the amount but I paid inly half which was $2140. 2 days later I should have on the phone a meeting with the site builder. After 2 min of talking with him I realized that I am NOT going to get what was promised. It was missing 10 pages. We tried to contact the sell person ,but she didn't have time to talk with me,and told the site builder that in 5 min she will contact me. Well, she never did. Yes she contacted me in the end of the day after receiving from me 10 voice messages and email and a cancellation notice by phone and in writing around 5 pm, the same day. Until today I haven't received any website and not money refunded to me. This is my last attempt to get my money back before I am leaving this matter to court. I am demanding full refund of $2140 immediately. A complain was applied to Attorney general of Fl, California, and FTC. I feel that I was scammed and lied and this is a crime . They breached their contract and under the consumer protection law # 510.615 the company representative didn't follow the law and breached every point in their contract. Just to let you know, that I am in contact with a lot of agents all over the United State that were experienced the same treatment from this scam company. This company conduction business with deceive and lies. A contract is not a contract when one part was deceived and lies and believed that signing on the contract is for to get the productt which was agreed upon.Desired Settlement: Full refund of $2144

Business

Response:

This compliant is completely unwarranted. We gave [redacted] a full refund of $2124 on 3/6/2014 (see attached). She then called in to purchase another product on 3/17/2014 for $399 setup + $49 month, which again she complained and asked for a refund, which was given to her on 3/27/2014 in the amount of $448. [redacted] did sign our service agreement both times that clearly states "No Refund" (see attached). Both times I made an exception and refunded her in full.
