I enjoyed reading their response letter, including the additional information, but learned little from this boiler-plate form about how they intend to find the middle ground

Thank you for bringing to our attention the complaint you received in regards to a HoMedics Sound Spa, Model HDS-1000. We have searched our systems and have not been able to locate any
communication from the consumer, except for one email that arrived the same day the Revdex.com complaint was filed, January 17, 2017. On January 20, 2017, the consumer spoke to a representative and was provided direction on how to obtain a warranty replacement. Therefore, the email from January 17, will not be responded to. Based on the information above, we are awaiting the consumer to return her product for a replacement. Sincerely, John Wettlaufer Manager of Consumer Relations HoMedics, USA LLC

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response I was given the address in Oregon by a customer service rep. I understand it was the wrong address but this was what was given to me.  Through conversations with the customer service rep I don't feel like I am being help I feel like I am being discriminated against. This has been a horrible experience and I will leav advice for anyone dealing with this company to keep records from day one so you don't have the same issues I have.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. I feel compelled however to point out that as far as I can tell, there is no difference between the 227H and the 225H. They look identical in the pictures, in fit form and function, and have the exact same features. As for the warranty period being reduced by 2 months, I think that's extremely petty. I'm not overly concerned however, as the new unit will either continue to work without flaw, or fail long before this December.

[You must provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution. Please type details here:] I did speak with the company, waiting to see the results.  it was very difficult getting thru to them but finally was able to.  After I receive the exchange of merchandise I will contact the Revdex.com and the Homedic. They do not make it easy. they left messages for me which I did return. there's a lot to say.  But I want the Revdex.com to know what a wonderful service you provide for the public. Because they contacted me only a few days after I contact the Revdex.com.

Re: File [redacted] – [redacted]
Dear
Ms. [redacted]:        ...

Thank you for bringing to our attention
the complaint you received in regards to a warranty issue serviced by our Canadian
office.

According to our records, the consumer contacted
us after hours via email on 5/19/2015 at 10:54pm stating the wrong product was
sent to him.  The complaint from the
Revdex.com shows it was submitted on 5/19/2015 at 10:51pm, three
minutes prior to us being notified of an issue.
Therefore, we were never given the opportunity to address this issue.
Shortly after our Canadian office
opened today, a reply to the consumers email was sent stating that a simple picking
error occurred in the warehouse at the time of the order. The correct model has
already been ordered and will ship soon.
Based on the information above, this matter
has been addressed and our file closed.
Sincerely,

February 11, 2016   Ms. [redacted] Revdex.com [redacted], Ste 100 [redacted], MI  48076-4163  Re: File [redacted] – [redacted]   Dear Ms. [redacted]:           ...

Thank you for bringing to our attention the complaint you received in regards to the HoMedics Bubble  Bliss Deluxe foot spa with Heat, Model FB-50.             According to our records, the consumer spoke to a supervisor on February 2, 2016, where it was  explained that this product does contain a heating element to help maintain the water temperature.   However, it will not heat cold water.  We also pointed out that this was stated in the instruction manual  on page 5 in step 1 under how to use the product.    We did offer to issue a prepaid label for the return of the product and a refund to be issued.  However,  the consumer declined and stated he would return the product to the retailer.    Based on the information above, the product appears to be operating as intended.  Therefore, if the  consumer wishes to have a foot bath that will heat cold water, then we would recommend exchanging  the item with the retailer.      Sincerely,  [redacted] Manager of Consumer Relations HoMedics, USA LLC.

Dear
Ms. [redacted]:        ...

Thank you for bringing to our attention
the complaint you received in regards to a refund issue.

According to our records, the consumer first
contacted us on July 7, 2015.  The
representative who handled the telephone call indicated the product was
received into our warehouse on June 26, 2015 and the refund request was already
in process.
The return policy on our web site
states: “the typical turnaround time for return or replacements is about two to
four weeks.”  In this situation, we are
still within that time frame.
Based on the information above, the
refund should be appearing on the consumer’s credit card statement within the next week or two.
Sincerely,

So because the adjuster you sent took different and more pictures than what was originally sent in it’s rejected?? That makes no sense! That’s why you sent the adjuster out was because you said my pictures weren’t good enough! This is ridiculous!
