I would think it would maintain the warm water. The Box it self states on it SOOTHING HEAT and the unit does not heat at all. This is a false and misleading statement. I would not have purchased the unit except for the heat statements. When I spoke to the company representative he offered a unit three times the cost and stated it would heat. I feel there the statement on the box along with the more exspensive offer are unfair and misleading practices that should be stopped.

I am attaching a copy of the email that I originally sent on 12/05/2015 and then continued to forward to Homedics on 12/10/2015, 12/17/2015, and 12/26/2015. I am attaching this document in response to Homedics' assertions that I have only attempted to contact them once regarding this very serious situation. In addition to sending this email advising of their faulty foot spa that electrocuted me and caused damaged to my flooring, I have made several telephone calls that continuously rang and eventually timed out either disconnecting my call or transferring me to a voicemail system. I left a total of two voicemails; one of which was responded to. Once my cellular phone bill is delivered this month, I will scan in the detailed call log to prove these additional calls as well. Homedics' position that I simply did not contact them more than once after being electrocuted by their product is simply incorrect and non-sensical. However, I do agree and accept that this matter has been forwarded to Homedics' insurance department as it appears that this matter is not being taken seriously enough. Regards,

Thank you for bringing to our attention
the complaint you received in regards to the Proposition 65 warning on our
products.          
 
Proposition 65 is a California law that
requires companies to inform consumers about miniscule levels of chemicals that
may be found in their products, even though there is no evidence that the
product poses a health hazard. 
A Proposition 65 warning label does not
mean that the product poses any danger to the consumer.   Proposition 65 warnings are all over
California, in restaurants, dentist’s offices, grocery stores, parking lots and
on products such as makeup and jewelry.
HoMedics products are constructed of
ordinary materials, such as plastic, cloth, paper and metal.  I do not have a list of the chemicals that
are contained in those materials.  I can
tell you with confidence that all HoMedics products are safe and that they do
not increase the risk of cancer or birth defects.
HoMedics put the Proposition 65 label
on the product simply to avoid the costs of defending frivolous lawsuits.   If you want to learn more about how

Based on the information above, the
consumer would need to return the product to the original place of purchase for
any type of refund.
